I have been having this issue on my Inc, i think some others were also And now google addressed it, and said an update was pushed Google not syncing Email. Not notifications nothing But i dont see any update available. or maybe its server side?

Until today, my gmail was working great (I use the gmail app). Then today, it just stopped working. I was surprised that I didn't receive any emails today, then I checked my computer and saw that I had several. So I hit refresh on my phone a they popped up in my inbox. I sent a test email after that and didn't receive it until I hit refresh. Can someone guide me through getting it working again?

Has anyone who ran into this problem successfully upgraded their Gmail using Titanium Backup or some other method? How is it done?
Running Ruby 1.1.1(and loving it), and saw the update on my downloads in the market. I update but when it installs, says update unsuccessful. I went into manage apps and cleared data and cache and tried again but no luck.

I know the new version of virtous has an updated gmail but would rather not backup, install, etc
After upgrading to Froyo I can't seem to find the gmail settings anymore. I want to change the sync interval or w/e because every time I open the gmail app I get that "Loading conversations". Anyone know where to find it or is it gone in Froyo?

View 7 Replies View RelatedSo I randomly noticed today that Gmail 2.3 is available in the market, which is the highest version I've seen anywhere. It shows up in my list of downloads, but doesn't show as 'Installed.' I'm currently running 2.2.1 on rooted Inc.
When I click install, it says that it is unsuccessful. Do I need to remove 2.2.1 first, and then try to install? It doesn't give the "update" option. Just want to make sure uninstalling 2.2.1 won't cause any issues.
When I receive gmail on the hero it displays everything but the images that are in the gmail. I have it to sync with my gmail account and when I go there the images are there. I cant find a setting on the hero or on the gmail account to fix this.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been somewhat lax with my updates on my hero, and have only recently been made aware of the 2.1 android update. i only updated my build number to 2.73.110.91 yesterday, which i had to reinstall the 2.73.110.26 to do so. im under the impression that i should of received a prompt to update to 2.1 over the air? which has not happened. i have tried to /menu/settings/sytem software update, but im told there is no update available.. i have also attempted the 'move the clock forward' trick, but to no avail. have i missed another required update somewhere.

It changes your version from VZW to FRG22D. Motorola said it's in Verizons hands now, and the CSR at the VZW store said it's being pushed out. But to where? One thing I'm speculating is 'Background Data.' Do I need to leave that on to receive the update? I leave it off and only turn it on when I'm browsing the Market. All I need to leave on is '3G Mobile Network' right? I don't leave it on 24/7 so maybe I was supposed to receive it OTA but my 3G was off.
It's really bugging me that all the people I know that own a crappy Eris already received the update and I'm still sitting here with an expired 1.5 cupcake...

Previously (a couple days ago), I was getting a message along the line of "Your device is up to date".
Now, I'm getting this message everytime: "Check for update was not available at this time. Try again later."
This morning I had a system update waiting for my on my G1.... It took quite some time to download just like the last update (Cupcake).. now I am having problems loading my phone.
I have the aHome application installed and I use that as my primary operating system (if you can call it that).
Now when my phone restarted after the update downloaded, it keeps giving me errors such as:
"The application aHome (process mobi.bbase.ahome) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
The application Messaging (process mobi.bbase.ahome) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
These errors repeatedly pop up and will not let any of my desktop load up or will it let me get into the system settings menu.
What should I do?! I've spent too much time customizing my phone for this friggin' update to just come along and destroy it all...
I don't know if I just check for updates too often or the auto update doesn't work. I check so often and update it manually that I never give a chance to auto update. Has anyone received an auto update?

I saw a couple of posts saying they ordered one day and got it the next, despite the shipping delay message. I will be ordering my phone in a few hours and I really hope I get lucky and find it at my door in a few days.

View 1 Replies View RelatedPhone will not vibrate when I receive emails, SMS, or gTalk messages if I put it in Vibrate Only mode. Phone calls do vibrate. In settings for each of those apps, I have a check mark in the Vibrate box. My Vibrate mode *used* to work, but when I uninstalled Quick Profiles it seems to have killed vibrations for everything except phone calls.
