General :: Galaxy S3 Can't Send / Receive Pictures From Other IPhones
Nov 24, 2012I just bought a Galaxy S3 this morning (first Android phone ever!) and for some reason, I haven't been able to send/receive any pictures to/from any of my friends who has an iPhone. I went into At&t earlier tonight and several people without iPhones sent me pictures and received pictures from me with no problems, but everyone with an iPhone couldn't receive my pictures. The techs there told me to try and use the lowest camera resolution and I was able to get one picture to send but still wasn't able to receive any pictures.

Feb 17, 2014I have a note 3, and when i try to send pictures (.jpeg) through the stock messaging app, it says "select different media" and will not allow me to send it. if i choose hangouts to send the same picture, it will send. however, a friend of mine using a droid x2 ALWAYS says he doesn't get the pictures. he only gets a blank message. when i try sending the same picture through hangouts to my girlfriends S4, a preview of the picture will show on the conversation list of hangouts, but when you open the conversation, the picture does not show and it is also a blank message. if she opens the stock messaging app, the picture will show in there.

Aug 5, 2013I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 plus and updated the Firmware to 4.2.2 yesterday night. Now I can't send pictures on WhatsApp, Facebook etc. anymore. This only happens to pictures I took AFTER the update. I already checked if they are just moved to a different folder, which is not the case. I also re-installed Whats App.
The exact error message: "Failed to load image data. Please try again later."
General :: ICS Passion 13.1 - Cannot Send Or Receive Pictures Via Text
Jun 21, 2012I have a Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant rooted to ICS passion 13.1 and it uses the 3.1.10_ICS_KissYum_yum_good #1 Kernel. I rooted this phone from Froyo 2.2 down to Eclir then to CM7 and then ICS.
Anyways I think that is enough info but the issue I have is I cannot send or receive pictures via text. I used to be able to and I know the plan for Tmo supports it but even if I try to send one to myself all it does is say 'sending message'. I never get one in my inbox and it never gives the time of when it was delivered, or sent out. When someone else sends one to me, it shows the size of the file with a little button that says Download, next to it. Even if i turn wifi on and connect to my router then hit 'download' it doesn't do anything. I don't have the Data plan but I don't think that would cause the issue would it?
General :: Finding An App That Will Automatically Resize And Send Multiple Pictures?
Jan 27, 2012I frequently email pictures from my phone. My iphone used to allow me to select a few pictures and send them. It would automatically resize so that recipients didn't get huge files.
I have not to date found a way to do this on android. I can go into quick pik or other programs and resize a picture manually... then select several and email.. but this is cumbersome and results in duplicates of my pictures in my gallery. I can't easily tell which is the big picture file and which is the small.
Is there a program out there that will automatically resize and send multiple pictures? This could be a separate program that sends to gmail or an email program itself.

Aug 22, 2013When I first got my phone, which was Monday, It would send pictures messages fine. Now for some reason, when I send them, my friends say they can't see it. The error message they get when receiving it says, "One or more of the messaging components have been deleted by MMS adaption. Either the message was too large or the components were unsuitable for your handset." This has never happened before.

Aug 14, 2013Just bought a Galaxy S3 from Cricket Wireless and everything works perfectly fine but when I go to use the camera the pictures are blurry and when I take a picture of a object that close like 3-4 inch away the picture is clear but if I want to take a picture of something else like a potrait or somthing mid range to far the picture is blurry like it doesn't want to focus. I tap the screen to try and focuses it and nothing happens.

I can send or attach messages to texts, but I don't get any images being sent to me. The Precedent runs on Straight Talk's network, and has "unlimited" talk, text and data. It's letting me send as far as I know, but I can't get any incoming pics in texts.

Feb 17, 2013OK so i just got this phone a few days ago and now I cant send texts or make phone calls but I can do everything else like use the internet receive texts etc. I had another issue earlier today where my phone shut off randomly and wouldnt turn back on when i knew it ha almost full battery. I took out the battery the sim and then out them back in no luck eventually i took out the s pen and it worked. A few hour later i got home and tried to send and text and no luck. Ive tried everything i cleared the Google services framework cache and text message app cache Ive tried another texting app and even restored it to factory settings. still same issue. What i can do next. I'm on Verizon and bought the phone off amazon wireless.

A colleague got one before me and one thing that he reported was that after the Froyo update he could not send pictures in the stock Mail app. I have replicated this. No matter the picture size, it will not send through the Maill app. Gmail works fine for this. My colleague says it worked before, but has broken on 2.2. Has this issue come up before? I couldn't find any threads for it. It's very annoying, because one of the main uses we have for the phone is to snap pictures of machines in the field and send them back to the office. Any help would be appreciated.

The only way to know is to go into my messages and see the new messages. I've resetted my messaging settings, but it still doesn't tell me that I have a text message. I get really bad reception in my house and it will go from edge, to 3G, to no data signal.
