"Automatic File Mover" (<- App Store), but honestly I would prefer a direct change of the default folder.
Is there a way to change the default folder icons? I DON'T want to use an app because I like how the default one works. It's fast and simple.
I'm using Launcher Pro (free) on a rooted g2x (Eaglesblood cm7 rom).

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I take a few pictures, my phone tells me that my SD card is not mounted or not present. The only way to get rid of this is to restart the phone and it's detected again - until I take a few more pictures.
I already ran home, after the first time it did this, and backed up my entire SD card to my PC via USB.
The phone is a HTC Thunderbolt running Liquid GingerBread v3.2 AOSP . . .
I really don't do a lot with this phone, but the camera I use often, so this is a real deal breaker for me.
When you first tell google now to take a "note to self", it prompts you if you want to use google keep or evernote. How can I change the voice app which is used? I initially choose google keep, but I want to try evernote.

View 4 Replies View RelatedHi. im having a trouble getting Android's camera to work. i started CameraActivity Intent from MapActivity (when i start camera activity, i unresgister all listeners used in map activity), and when i call takepicture method, it just exits camera activity and return to map activity dumping strange msg showing below.
the camera sounds off the shutter-sound and it crashes camera activity. sometimes it succeeds, and sometimes doesn't.
it happens when im using docomo's HT-03A, 1.6sdk is installed.
Anyone having same trouble as i do?

View 3 Replies View RelatedMany people think that the pictures taken from the phone camera are stored in internal storage and think they are losing internal memory because of taking picture bit the pictures you take is stored on sd card
Images are stored insdcardDCIMcamera
so dont worry take pictures
instal link 2 sd and wipe all cache and dalvik-cache to free up 5-15mb
Every time I share a picture via twitter, g+, Facebook, or mms, or even upload it to a message board, the orientation defaults to landscape regardless if its taken in portrait mode. This is pretty annoying. It also happens when I try to edit my avatar using the xda app.
How can I fix this so that a picture is uploaded in the orientation that the picture is taken in?
Any idea why the quality of pictures is so much better when using GOOGLE? If pictures can be that good why does the camera suck when taking pictures?
View 4 Replies View RelatedJust got the Milestone a few days ago. Couldn't find similar problems when searching. Having issues with taking Widescreen images. Take a look at the very right side, there is a small strip that's out of place. Actually, this strip is part of the image that should be on the LEFT side of the image instead. Doesn't happen when taking 4:3 5MP picture. Compressed the images, but you can see it below when zoomed. Anyone know what the deal is? Just a small but slightly annoying issue.
View 7 Replies View Relatedone of my friends has an app installed, called Share Your Board (for taking pictures of whiteboards). I've found their website, and some basic information about it, but cannot find the app in the MarketPlace. When he goes to his downloads area (he just got an update about 2-3 weeks ago), it's not there.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've a list view with custom list adapter(list_item.xml). I have multiple layout folder to support multiple screen size. I found out when I inflate using LayoutInflater, its always taking the view from main "layout" folder.
I've a phone with screen size "427x320".
This is my code:....................
I want the layout inflater to pick the list_item.xml from "layout-427x320" folder and not "layout" folder.
This is technically a Win7 question, but much related to Android. On my older Android devices, when connected to PC via USB for file transfer, they would "mount" the SD card as a standard disk drive within Windows. On my newer Android devices, however, they instead connect the device to Windows as a "portable media player." This is fine, except for one thing which really irks me. Every time the portable media player director structure comes up, it is displayed as giant icons. If I change it to "list" or "detail" view within Windows, there are two big problems:
- it doesn't stick (i.e. I'll reconnect later and it will be back to giant icon view)
- it doesn't apply recursively to all subfolders
With regular Win7 file explorer (i.e. for disk drives), it is really easy to set a default folder view for all disk drives on the whole system, and it will stick forever, and apply to all subfolders on every drive. Is it possible to do the same thing with portable media players?
just a minor inconvenience: I used to have my phone set to sync with google, which alerted me every time I received an email. I then found out that google sync was causing an issue with my contact pictures, taking them from facebook and resizing them. it caused them to looked pixelated or "zoomed in" in hilli billy terms. So now I have it set to never sync with google. So now I never receive a notification when I receive an email. Anyone know a way I can set it to sync only to gmail and not sync the contacts? I don't really need to sync them anyway, as I have backup assistant for that purpose.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy camera won't take properly colored pictures any more. It started out as an intermittent problem but now it's just all the time and it really bugs me. The camera on these phones sucks to begin with but it did come in handy some times. This is the kind of pictures it takes now.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThis may sound like a weird question, but why is my Droid camera taking blurry pictures. I just got the phone today.
View 2 Replies View RelatedDroid Incredible 2.2 no root default camera app user. When I tap to focus on the camera and am really close to something it goes from blurry to sharp and then blurry at the last second (when it snaps the picture) I took this video to demonstrate what I mean. Is there any way to take a picture like this? Or to manually focus with the stock camera app? Or an app that will help me take good quality macro pics of coins, pins, etc. I will pay for an app. I saw posts with the macro camera lens but I have no desire to glue a metal washer onto my camera lens.

ICS is set to boot into 720p and so I would have all the time after booting to revert through the setting applet to 576p. Is there any way (a config file? a kernel option?) to have the OS start by default in 576p?
