HTC Incredible :: Update Fixes Exchange Push On Wifi
May 6, 2010Well they fixed 1 thing that bothered me. Now fix the call quality so it can be used as a phone. I am so glad this is just a device i am testing at work. I would never use it as a primary phone. My iphone has much better call quality and reception.

Jul 28, 2010When i bought my N1, one thing (among many others) that impressed me is how acurrate Gmaps were. I was using CyanogenMod 5.X when Froyo was released and i moved to modaco's froyo with 4.06.00.12_7, since then, my gps is inaccurate for about 20-25 meters.

Sep 9, 2010If I have line of sight with satellites (Outdoors) my locations is perfect(Scottsdale, AZ). If I go into a heavy concrete building such as my work, the GPS says I am at a house in Latvia. Is this a bug or something is wrong with my phone? I guess my fear is it has been cloned by someone in Latvia or something, I checked and I have no odd charges which is good. If the GPS was just broken and giving a bogus locations, wouldn't it be much more likely it would think I am in an Ocean or non populated area? A house in Latvia seems a bit too suspicious.

Jun 10, 2010I tried using Layar 3 different times in 3 different locations, and each time it showed the locations of things to be completely opposite of where they were supposed to be. So I installed a Compass app and (at least in this room) it seems to be about 90* off. Can anyone else mess around with Layar / Compass app and report their findings?

Sep 10, 2010I have noticed that the battery meter on my captivate (SRE + lagfix installed) is very inaccurate. For instance, I got the low battery notification and plugged my phone in when it got to 8%. However, the second I plug my phone in the battery meter jumps to 34. I unplugged it and sure enough, the battery stayed at 34%. Anyone having this problem?

May 7, 2010Is anyone else experiencing lag when using the phone dialer or when answering a phone call?When I go through my contacts and pick someone I want to call, I touch their name, and it takes a good 5-7 secs before it starts calling that person.Same thing when I receive a call. When my phone rings and I have an incoming call, when I swipe down, it'll take another 5-7 seconds after the swipe (since I guess this action lets you answer the call directly) before I am connected to that person.

I had her go into the voice recognizer settings but the option to train it is not there as it was on the D2.She also says it doesn't prompt her for confirmation and she can't find the setting to have it confirm before dialing. Not the all of my 400 some odd facebook friends. In the People app, I simply unchecked Facebook from the Menu>View screen to unclutter my contact list.

May 8, 2010I'm having an issue with the Voice Dialer on my Incredible. I'm wondering if other people are having this too...
Assume I have a contact entry "John Doe" with both a Mobile and a Home number.
When I speak "John Doe", if the dialer can't correctly pinpoint the contact name (eg: "John Doe" vs "Jane Doe"), then it correctly shows me all of the numbers for both people. However, if it correctly matches to the exact name ("John Doe"), then it shows me only the primary number for "John Doe".
It doesn't matter whether I say "Call John Doe", "Call John Doe at Home", or "Call John Doe on Mobile". In all cases I just get a single number offered.
