I called HTC and told them my battery will not fully charge unless I plug & unplug my phone several times. They said there wasn't a hot ticket about this issue and offered me a replacement battery. I suggest everyone call them and let them know this is problem. 8664498358 I refused the battery as I do not believe it is the issue. I told the rep that I just wanted to make the issue known. I suggested everyone call to let them know there are several people with this problem, not so you can try to get a free battery. I also called Verizon to order a spare battery, then I ordered a separate battery charger from fommy.com to deal with this issue until it is fixed. Shame on you to those who thought they could "steal" a battery from HTC.

I've been monitoring battery with the ap BatteryLeft. At 100%, it is saying my battery gets 17.5 hours which seems pretty bad. What about everyone else? I've seen threads in terms of %, but hours would really be more helpful.

View 3 Replies View RelatedAnyone else had an issue with powering up? I now have to push all of my power cords down to get a charge now. If I just plug it into the phone, no charge. It's until I jiggle the cord, is when I get a charge.
Anyone else had this issue? I might take it back in for a new one soon.

View 5 Replies View RelatedSo basically my phone got wet in the rain today. During the rainstorm and directly after, it was fine. A few hours later, while I was taking a nap, the display stopped working. I can still hear vibrations and alarms I had already set, and it still charges, so the SD card and battery are fine. However, since the display isn't working, I can't use it. I can't get at the LCD because the screws in the phone won't budge, and I don't want to strip them.

I got caught in the rain and my phone quit working. I got a replacement under the insurance program. In the meantime, after the original phone dried out, it started working. However, it seems sluggish. And some applications force close that didn't in the past. Unfortunately I updated a lot of aplicationss so it could also be that the new build of the applications is causing the FC. I'm not an electronics expert so my question is this: Can a phone partially recover from water damage? Or since it started working does that mean that it's good as new? I need to decide whether to keep the replacement or return it and get a refund.
Just wondering if that is the correct size for maximum screen realistate on the incredible? When using doubletwist, it imported them at 320x480 or something and all of my pics are just way too small.
View 5 Replies View RelatedJust wanted to get some opinions here about my battery performance to help determine if it's defective and to see if I should return the phone for a new one.Whenever I charge my phone, it gets all the way up to 100% (obviously), but after I unplug the phone the battery will drop down to around a 90% charge level 5 minutes after unplugging it. And that's with no usage at all. I simply unplug it, turn off the screen, and stick it in my pocket. Mobile network is enabled, but bluetooth, wifi, and gps are all off and I don't have any crazy apps running that are draining the battery. Within an hour (with little or no use), the battery will then usually be in the 75% range, sometimes a little lower. I don't think I've made it past 11 or 12 hours yet without the battery dying, even though my usage is pretty light. Any ideas on what is going on? Do you think the battery is just a junky one or is this normal behavior for the phone?

I am developin with Eclipse on an Android device. Each time I want to install the new version of the app on the device I need to connect it, enable USB Debugging, install the app, disable USB Debugging, unplug the device (optional). I was wondering if it was safe to just unplug the device without disabling USB Debugging. After all, the device is not mounted, right? But there is the adb, talking to it. It would be much more convenient to be able to do that. Does anyone know if it is safe or unsafe?

I have battery snap app and when I checked the status it said the battery was overheating. I had it plugged into the wall charger that came with the phone. Is this normal? It wasn't charging that long...maybe 4 or 5 hours. I'm worried about leaving my phone on the charger at night time (which is usually when I charge my phones). Does the standard charger not have one of those chips that keeps the battery from over charging? Also, when I took the phone off the charger after noticing it was hot, the battery widget said it dropped from 100% to about 90% after only 10 min. Did I screw up my battery? If so, please tell me it's covered under the insurance.

I'm not sure if this is worth complaining about but is anybody else experiencing their phone waking up on its own while it's connected to the charger? I'm not sure when it started exactly but I'm sure it was after I updated to OTA 2.2.It's not hot or does anything else just that the screen turns on, stays on for like 2 seconds, and than the screen turns off. It seems to occur randomly. Is anybody else having this issue?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I connect my DINC via USB to my computer, the computer does not recognize my phone, there is no option for charge or disk drive like there used to be, it just starts charging, but the USB icon which used to appear in the task bar does not appear. I also have the setting set to "ask me every time I connect" on my phone, I have played around with this setting to no avail. The phone also does not appear in My Computer. I have changed USB ports and cables, and my computer recognizes every other device I have, so it is only a problem with recognizing my phone.
