HTC Incredible :: USB Port - Wobbles
May 9, 2010usb plug when in port isn't tight, it "wobbles/wiggles". not sure when it started doing this or if it's always done it but I just never noticed.

HTC Incredible :: USB Port Not Working / Way To Fix?
Aug 6, 2010This morning I wanted to turn on my DINC, but it did nothing. I removed the battery, then restarted the DINC. Everything seemed to work fine. However, upon connecting it to my PC, I noticed that my USB port didn't work any longer (it was not recognized by the pc, nor did my phone get charged. I went to the VZW store, and they told me that my USB port was broken. Will get a new device on Monday. In the mean time I am out of juice.

May 18, 2010What kind of quality can the Incredible output to a TV through its mini USB port? I'm thinking that it would be pretty cool with nesoid, snesoid, genesisoid (whatever it's called). Like 3 classic consoles in one. Does anyone know what kind of quality the Incredible can output? Also, does anyone where I can actually get a cable?

Jun 25, 2010I was just looking into getting a new receiver for my car since my current one doesn't put out rear-left audio. Looking at all these new decks that have usb inputs to play music from ipods and usb sticks got me thinking about the Inc. I read a bit about some other people having mixed results here - different phones, receiver brands, onboard/sd cards, etc. Has anyone tried this or have a usb input in their car and could try it? I'd love to have the option but I won't worry about a usb port if it won't recognize it.

My question deals with the process I need to go through to keep my current phone number (I've had it for 7 years and use it for business). What exactly do I need to do? Do I need to cancel my Alltel contract first? Note: this will mean paying the ETF fee associated with my Alltel contract since I am over a year away from my 2 year contract running out. Jul 19, 2010the charging port on the EVO has come loose. :-( It has a little more "play" more than normal. Downside is i have to hold it a certain way to maintain a charge. Times like this i hate. So my question is should i call sprint and cash in on my insurance? or try out the Pre / Wireless charging hack? Heck, Im not sure if i should even take apart my evo and see if I can fix it. How did it get this way? Well, having a car charger that has a Coiled cord will put some tension on it, especially if you are using it (Calls, Surfing, GPS). I have had my Evo since Launch with no issues at all, till now.

Apr 6, 2014I am trying to port some Custom ROM to my Lg P710 (Lg L7 II). Since the bootloader got unlocked and now i have CWM i decided to start to port a custom rom. I read some tutorials and i understood the basics but how can i get the stock rom from Lg. I downloaded the Kdz file and tried to build from source but i am stuck here. I don't know what i shall do. When i build from source i get a really small output like e 30 MB output.
Lg Instructions for building android and kernel:
1. Android build
- Download original android source code ( Jelly Bean 4.1 ) from [URL] .....
- Unzip opensource packages of P710(Optimus L7 II)_Android_JB_P710V10h_EUR.zip into downloaded android source directory
- And, merge the source into the android source code(Jelly Bean)
- Run following scripts to build android
a) source build/envsetup.sh
b) choosecombo
c) make -j4
- When you compile the android source code, you have to add google original prebuilt source(toolchain)
into the android folder
( add prebuilt/linux-x86/toolchain/arm-eabi-4.4.3/bin to PATH )
- After build, you can find output at out/target/product/generic
2. Kernel Build
- Unzip using following command at the android folder
- When you compile the kernel source code, you have to add google original prebuilt source(toolchain)
into the android folder.
- cd kernel
- export ARCH=arm
- export TARGET_PRODUCT=vee7e_open_eu
- export CROSS_COMPILE=../prebuilt/linux-x86/toolchain/arm-eabi-4.4.3/bin/arm-eabi-
- make vee7-rev_10_defconfig
- make zImage
3. After Build, You Can find the build image at arch/arm/boot.
