The lights on the 4 icons at the bottom randomly turn on and off, is it a bug or something? I read another post that said that the light sensor activated them but:
1: It was on standby
and
2: There was no change in the lighting where I was
Will Froyo fix this?

Just curious if anyone else has noticed the trackball and buttons randomly turning on and off or not coming on at all? Before the update I think they turned on when used...it doesn't bother me though just kind of weird..
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy boyfriend and I bought Milestones from Telus last week and have noticed when we go to use our phone in the morning it's already powered on. Last night I turned it off and 20-30 minutes later it powered itself back on. Is this because I need to log out of apps? (facebook, gtalk, etc) Or is there some option I'm just not finding?

I installed two logcat applications, but I don't know jack about reading logs I want to know what causes these shutdowns The latest ones happened between 6:32-6:33AM and 6:54-6:55AM (it's 7:26AM now, my time).
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've recently been having an issue where my Mobile Data randomly does not work. When I go to settings, it is checked as enabled. I have to uncheck and recheck this to get it to 'turn back on' or refresh.I haven't been able to see a pattern yet for why it's turning off, but it seems to sometimes do it after it goes to sleep. I have tried enabling 'Always On' for the data connection, but this doesn't help.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI purchased the HTC Incredible and got it last week. In the last couple of days, I noticed the buttons at the bottom of the phone were sometimes lit and sometimes not. I went into the Verizon store today to pre-order the TV out cable and asked the tech about the lights. He said HTC was aware of several bugs and there will be an update shortly that will remedy them. On the TV out cables, they're all sold out. They're selling like hotcakes - same as the Incredible.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I trun my phone on, the scene changes from the scene I had chosen (the waving grass) to "current (unsaved)".If I change it to the one I prefer (saved with my name) I am asked to "save or cancel" the incorrect one.I click cancel, and all is well.But why does it change and how do I keep the scene selected that I want?I just want it to stick on the scene that I have chosen.

View 2 Replies View RelatedCut a small 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch square of black tape and place it over the light sensor in the upper left corner just to the left of the verizon logo and the soft key lights stay on when the screens on and they turn off when you turn the screen off. Works perfectly and really doesn't look that bad.

Both were asleep and when I wake both up mine lights up but on hers it doesnt. I am not sure if there is a setting or something that I am doing wrong. She is on stock froyo and I am using redemption rom 2.0.4 but I am not sure that has anything to do with it.

Well i installed pandora and have pandora one, i've also bluetooth'd it to my car stereo on the way home yesterday.Well tonite i was messing around it some more and noticed there are about 8 songs that i didn't download or transfer in the HTC Music player, they are songs/artist that i've possibly listen to in pandora. I'm not sure if pandora downloads songs and the htc player picked found them. So i tried to play a couple songs, skip a few and nothing new appeared in the htc player.
View 15 Replies View RelatedAside from the other issues I've been having with my Incredible since the OTA 2.2 update, over the last few days I've noticed my phone has been randomly lighting up on its own, as if I'm hitting the button on top. I haven't installed any new apps recently that I can think of that would cause this. I've tried searching around for anybody else having this same problem, but have been unsuccessful so far. Has anybody else seen anything like this happening, or maybe an app that was recently updated that may be causing it? It's not really a huge issue, I'm just concerned it may get unlocked in my pocket and cause me to start pocket dialing people.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am having an issue with my HTC Droid Incredible. When going to Settings>Wireless and networks and looking under Mobile Network, it says "Turning on." However, it stays in that mode and never "turns on."Things I have tried
1. Restart the phone/taking the battery out
2. Reset the phone to factory settings by going to Privacy in Settings
3. Contact Verizon and have them remove and re-add the data plan
I have noticed that, when I call *228, and try to activate the phone, it says an error occurred and it could not activate the phone. I can make phone calls from the phone, but cannot do anything that requires a data plan, meaning that it is an issue with that. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this issue?
I have seen my texts on my Incredible get randomly deleted three times in the past four days. Anytime I seem to have multiple text convos going on, I will get an error, and then all will go away.

All of a sudden the last two days my phone has been restarting randomly, mostly like two minutes into using the phone. It doesn't though go to the HTC Incredible screen but rather the HTC Quietly Brilliant, quickly to Verizon Wireless screen and into the OS. I see the CPU doing heavy duty work using all but 100% yet I checked System Panel and I don't see anything using that much usage. Again this has just started the last two days or so. Never before have I had this problem. Anyone else just in the last few days?

View 5 Replies View RelatedAnyone else having an issue with their WiFi dropping at random times? I'm about 25' from my Verizon router, so signal strength isn't an issue. I don't even know when it's happening most of the time. I only realize because opening a page or downloading something is slow. I have the Sleep Policy set to Never, so it's not that. The strange thing is is I go into Wireless Settings, as soon as I click on Wireless, it picks the router back up and reconnects. I have several other devices on WiFi here and they are all working perfectly fine.

Has anyone else had their SD card just randomly unmount? The first time I thought it must have been random but it happened again to me today. I was just changing screens and I came to my photo album widget and then the little triangle with the exclamation point popped up and said I should unmount my SD card before I remove it.
So i popped off my case and then the back cover to see that my SD card was firmly inside the phone. I took it out and put it back in and my phone reboot itself.
Anyone else getting this random issue?
my incredible reboots randomly, first noticed one while on a phone call with my dad. It was over bluetooth in car with navigation & gps on. It rebooted mid conversation. I was on 95 in baltimore with 4 bars and 3g. Everything since has been while listening to slacker. Either while phone is sitting there or while surffing the web. Once was while listening in the car in philadelphia on 95 no navigation (always 2-3 bars and 3g) and it didn't start crashing until about two weeks ago. Every crash has been while plugged into a charger also. I haven't noticed any crashes off charger.

I'm not sure when it started exactly but I'm sure it was after I updated to OTA 2.2.It's not hot or does anything else just that the screen turns on, stays on for like 2 seconds, and than the screen turns off. It seems to occur randomly. Is anybody else having this issue?

It's rather maddening. Anyone have any idea what might be causing this?
View 5 Replies View RelatedEver since I received the froyo update, my phone will randomly state "BATTERY IS FULL". This happens generally below 90%, sometimes as low as 60%. Even stranger, this only happens when the phone isn't being charged. And it never happens when the battery is actually full.

My phone has recently started to randomly drop 3G so that I am unable to surf the web, receive emails etc. Does anyone know what might be causing this problem? I live in South Florida where 3G has always been fine. I would greatly appreciate anybody's input. Rebooting the phone helps for a while.

I can't seem to make the notification sound stick.For example: this morning, I unmounted the SD card after syncing with Doubletwist on my PC and got into my car. When I turned on the car, the phone connected via Bluetooth to the stereo. Upon connection, the phone made a notification sound, but that sound had been changed from the default notification sound to one of my MP3s.
