View 10 RepliesWhenever I am using any app and press the home button, the home screen blacks out for a few secs and it takes around 10 sec to get all the icons back and before I can start using my phone again. I am using a non rooted mytouch 3g.
This problem does not happen if I exit an app by pressing the back button. It becomes very annoying at times.
I got a vibrant for 2 weeks now....really satisfied with it except it keep turning back to home screen by itself, when i try to access to google or some other websites like that......

View 3 Replies View RelatedNot having much luck with this. For some reason the icons on my home screen are stupidly small. How do I get them to a more legible size?Their dimensions are currently 256x256, which I only just noticed but they come out smaller than 48x48 on the home screen.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI read on here somewhere that I could add the 3 icons to my homescreen, very very useful but now my boyfriend wants it on his phone and for the life of me I can't remember how to do it.
View 2 Replies View RelatedNot sure where the issue lies, with Android itself or launcher pro, but I have a strange issue where the icons on the bottom row of my home screen are out of alignment.
The two on the left, SMS and Mail, are widget icons for counters and the two on the right are direct app launchers, but yesterday they stared to show out of alignment.
Firstly, I love this app! Finally got my Desire looking awesome! One slight problem though, I'm running Defrost 2.9a with Launcher Pro, and have changed the dock icons to custom ones. However, every so often, two of these custom icons revert back to the original ones for no reason?! Anybody had anything similar. I would definitely pay for the Pro version of this app, if I knew that would fix the issue...

Does anyone know if its possible to have on screen buttons on the Desire for Home, Menu and Back as I'm (perhaps unnecessarily) worried about wearing the buttons out so would rather be using virtual buttons on screen (even if that means losing a little of the display area).
View 12 Replies View RelatedI cannot see any of my screens. I just see a black screen. The screen has no background but it is black but lit up or active [not black like when it is off though]. No response to hitting any of the 4 buttons[home, menu, return, search]. I only get a response when I hold down the home key. A message pops up saying 'Recent Apps' and 'No recent apps'. I'm wondering if it is trying to respond but bogged down with an app.
This all started after I installed a Koi screen saver. The screen saver works and lets me close the screen saver but goes to a blank screen. Don't see anything. Sound rocker responds, power button works, I even heard mail arriving. Feel pretty dumb.
I snap a photo, and it gets placed onto an ImageView. When the user sees the page where the Image View is, and I turn the phone sideways where the orientation is horizontal, the app immediately returns to the app's main screen.

Can anyone direct me to somewhere on how to customize the screens? Also, there are a couple of new icons at the top of my home screen - an "E" inside a circle and after a phone call, I get a green circle in the notification bar.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there a guide to identifying the icons at the top of the home screen, or a way to determine what they are? Some are obvious, but some are not. For instance, in the image below, I know the BlueTooth icon, but what is the one at top left?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a unique idea for mobile themes.I'm working with an app coder who knows nothing about design.I'm creating the themes.I would like to do actual themes and not just wallpapers.Do I simply create like a home screen with icons? Or does the icons have to be added when coding?
I'll give an example.Does the phone icon need some type of code behind it to tell it what to do or is it simply just an image?I only know about design and a little html.zo don't know anything about app coding.
I was backing up all the apps using astro to sd then deleted some off the phone to increase the internal memory. In the process I deleted google maps then I lost the navigation icon so I can't find it back. Is there any way to get it back? I can't even access the navigation app from anywhere not even the market. It's the one with the blue arrow.

Here is what is happening with my Droid. I have the official release on my Droid and when I leave and app (Like Dolphin or Handcent) my icons on my home screens take 5-10 secs to refresh and it can take another 5 seconds before my home screen will react to any touches.
Also when I unlock my phone it can take close to 20 secs sometimes (not all the time) for my icons to come in and it takes at least 5 secs no matter what to get my screen to react to any touches.
Is anyone else having this issue? What can I do? Now I almost wish I had never updgraded to 2.2.....
Those of you who have root access in there devices may have noticed icons missing on there home screens. If you are wondering why this is due to using Titanium Backup to move apps to the SD card. This only happens with certain apps, usually only the ones that can't be moved from the devices settings. To fix this simply move said apps back to internal storage and all will be well.
