HTC Incredible :: Any Way To Adjust Microphone Sensitivity?
Sep 30, 2010Is there a way to adjust this? I was at a concert last night and tried to record a few clips, and when I got home, everything is muffled as hell. I found someone else who posted a video of the concert and was maybe ~15-20' from where I was at, yet theres is clear. I doubt it was from another incredible, but I've had this issue with digital cameras too. Any way I can fix this so I can get some good clips next time i go to a concert?

Apr 22, 2010One thing the Incredible doesn't have that the Nexus One does is the fancy noise cancellation technology. I'm a little surprised at how little this is being mentioned and I'm also puzzled at why this feature was dropped since on paper it sounds like such a good thing. Does anyone have experience with how well it worked? Did it not work out as well as planned, was it a cost saving measure to drop it, or does nobody actually talk directly into their phone anymore?

May 10, 2010I've got a male to male 3.5MM connector to plug into my aux port in my stereo of my car. I can stream Pandora, slacker etc, with no problem. HOWEVER, when I initially plug it in, my notification bar shows the headset Icon. After a while however, it turns into the Microphone enabled headset icon and it pulls up the Voice dialer app. This then kill slacker/pandora or anything else I'm running. If I'm able to listen for a while without it messing with the streaming app, once someone calls, then music stops, I can talk handsfree and then it goes back to the music when the call ends. But then almost immediately, the voice dialer app is brought back up and I'm back in the same situation where everything dies.

Look for in the in EVO subforum. Although it was meant for the EVO it works great on the Incredible!Remember to uninstall current version first.

May 10, 2010I got my Incredible on 4/29, and have loved every minute with it. My only complaint is that when I am actually on the phone, the callers on the other end hear a lot of background noise. The microphone seems to pick up everything. I cannot even talk on the phone if I am in an environment that has any ambient noise because callers are bombarded with the ambient noise. On this note, I was just wondering if there was any way to change the microphone sensitivity and back it off a little bit so that it is usable in environments that contain some ambient noise.

Jun 23, 2010So I am new into the world of playing with phones. I come from the computer realm as an engineer for the past 10years or so. So far I have not tried to root or anything but I fully intend to give it a try in the very near future. Anyways the reason behind this post is I am interested in the possibility to dual boot my device. i.e. I want to keep the stock build of 2.1 with sense but I want to be able to still play around with a 2.1 or even 2.2 (hopefully) ROM without losing my stock setup. Is this even possible? I hear a lot of people also saying they switch between ROMs often. Can you do that without losing all of the data that you have loaded on the phone already? If that is the case then switching back and forth between stock and a new ROM takes out the need for the dual boot requirement.

So we don't need the widget but when you plug in your phone and you'll touch the mount button it mount on your pc but you can get to sd on phone too (or even auto mount to pc).

Media :: Dual Pairing Bluetooth HT820 Headset For Media And Phone?
Nov 14, 2008Almost a year ago I purchased the HT820 Motorolla headset so I could pair a bluetooth phone and mp3 player to the same headset. It worked fantastic. Now that I finally have my hands on the Google phone, I was hoping to dual pair the headset to the phone for both media and the phone.
I don't know if I am doing something wrong during the pairing procedure, but it will not play media through the headset, except in the second before dialing a contact or just after I hang up. Whatever music is playing, comes out of the speakers, but like I said if a call comes in, I hear the music through the headset until I answer, and then it pauses like it should, then plays again after I hang up but it switches back to the external speaker almost immediately.
It works fine for the phone, and in the Bluetooth list of devices, it shows as connected.
