Is there an app? I took a video of a bunch of people in a row, but now I want just a regular picture of each person. I am on a dinc, running stock OTA froyo.

i cant find a single app that lets you save apps/vids/pics to my sd card? i have OS version 2.1, htc desire. are the apps only for 2.2 users?

I just put a bunch of videos into a folder I created titled "Videos" and now Act1 can't find em and the default picture viewer seems to create doubles. How do you guys organize them? Ok I just restarted my device and it looks like apps are starting to read things right again, so that's good. It's ok if I keep everything in a created folder right?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was looking at the N1 on youtube and notice it's picture gallery which looks so nice. I went on the market to see if they have something similar....and yes they do. It's called 3d gallery. It's so much better than the gallery that came with the phone. If you've heard of cool iris that's what it basically is now for your phone. It works fine on the DINC. If this has been posted already just ignore and delete this thread.

I wasn't sure what to tell him. I looked, and I noticed his pictures have a "share" option that you can send them to Picasso. Is that good? The videos however did not have this option. Should he simply connect to his PC with a USB cord and copy the files directly?

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy physical camera button won't take a picture. It does the ding noise for being focused or whatever and the square turns green, but it won't take the picture anymore. If I want to take one I have to use the auto focus on screen tap. The same goes for the camcorder function. I have no clue what's causing this as it always worked fine before. I have the leaked 2.3.15 Froyo with rub-ix focused Rom + nexTheme. To my knowledge the camera button always worked fine until I noticed today that it wasn't. (Now watch, this is probably some stupid obvious thing I've overlooked.

Videos are VERY GRAINY, Pictures are blurry, I have tried every setting possible, I am on 8MP for camera and 720p for hd. Any chance there is a way to fix it? I have seen other peoples video and they are MUCH better than mines. And people said the Droid 1 camera was bad (which I had) this is awful.

The default is that new pictures are all the way at the bottom, and since I have over a hundred pictures its annoying to scroll all the way to the bottom. Yesterday, I tried whatever "Update Profile" is and after that I lost all of my pictures and videos. Is that what did it? Or do I have another issue here? Or did it happen after I took a pic of my home screen with Shoot Me? Also, I'm pretty sure I just copied my videos file from my PC (30 AVI's) to my SD card and then phone read them. Now, it won't, any after some research it doesn't look like the EVO even supports AVI? I'm pretty sure I didn't' convert anything than one DVD. So far, the only thing I've been able to get back successfully is a tiny bitmap picture. I've found several other posts related to this topic that have code that is reported to work, but it does not work for me. I'm hoping someone can steer me in the right direction. Below is the code I am using currently, but it causes the application to blow up.

Ultimately, I want to be able to get the picture back and do two things with it: create a 64x64 icon that is displayed by the Android application, and upload the picture to a web application. I'm running this on the emulator using Android 2.0

I am a big fan of mythbusters and i'll bet that many of your are too. I like all those high speed camera shoots and i was thinking if would it be possible to make an app to use the camera to shoot high speed videos. I am not thinking like professional high speed video (those go up to millions of fps) but more like up to 1000 or 500. The desire should be able to shoot hd 720p video (lets hope with the next update) and may be would be possible to to make lower resolution high speed videos. I think the cpu is enough, but would the camera be able?
