I will be getting a new phone on Wednesday - my speaker is blown and verizon is sending a replacement. I know I can transfer my SD card over and transfer all my data like that... but is there a way to "clone" the phone to my PC and then put EVERYTHING on the new phone?

She wants to transfer the upgrade from her dad's line (they're on a family plan) to her number, but whenever we try to do that on the Verizon website it doesn't stick.Is there a way to permanently transfer the upgrade to her number? Otherwise, could I order the Incredible under her dad's number, and then activate it with her number once we get it? View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm getting tired of waiting for the OTA froyo update when I can just root and use a leaked version. I was wondering what my best bet would be. I figure I will root with the unrevoked method since it seems straight forward. What should I use for changing roms, though? Clockworkmod looked good because the paid version allowed for updating to newer roms right off app without having to look for them... but from what I understand Titanium is the only way to transfer over your existing apps/contacts/etc to a new rom. I'm not too keen on having to reinstall ALL my apps and data... what does everyone here suggest?

View 13 Replies View RelatedI searched the Incredible forums and sub forums and could not find an answer to this question, though I am sure it has been asked: If I want to go from my stock 2 GB card to a new card, and I want to preserve data AND have all apps still be able to read whatever data they were reading off the card, do I just transfer the files from one card to the other? I bet the only thing I need to make sure of is that new card is formatted with the same file system as the original card, right? I know copying data from one card to the other will preserve data, but I want to make sure I have no problems with apps, either, after inserting the newer card.
