HTC Incredible : How To Remove Sense From Phone?
Aug 26, 2010Is there anyway to delete or remove Sense from my incredible. I would like to run it using plain old android without the Sense overlay.

May 24, 2013I deleted my Flickr account (moved to ipernity) and uninstalled the flickr app. Now I'm getting the error "Authorise HTC Sense - flickr is not responding, try signing in". But of course I can't sign in, because I no longer have a flickr account.How do I remove Flickr from HTC Sense on my phone? Where are the options for HTC Sense itself located?
under "Settings:Apps:All apps" there was a "Flickr for HTC Sense". I can't uninstall that, or open it, only Force Stop.I can only see the main "HTC Sense" under Settings-Apps too, so can't open it directly to tell it to stop looking for Flickr.

anyway i want to remove the htc sense on the phone and just have the default the 2.1 theme.
how would i go about doing this, would i need to root the phone or is there an easier way to achieve this.

Apr 15, 2010I'm looking into getting the Droid Incredible but had a question about all Android phones with the HTC Sense UI. I know that there is a wait for these phones to upgrade when Android has a version upgrade for their OS. If I were to remove the Sense UI from the phone would it be possible to upgrade immediately when a release is available? Take, for example, the Droid Eris. Would it be possible to disable/remove the Sense UI and install Android 2.1 and not have to wait? Or is Sense embedded in the phone to where that's not possible?

Also, i want to remove some stock apps like Peep from my phone as well, but they do not show up under app uninstaller. I've read that root explorer app can accomplish this, but the app was really confusing and I didn't understand. Can someone help me out?

Nov 13, 2010Something weird just happened, all of a sudden when I open my Pop 3 email account on the Droid Inc., read it, then open the same email account on my computer prior to yesterday that email on the Droid Inc would disappear like I wanted it to. Now it remains on the Droid until I manually delete it. I looked on the manual and Internet but could not out how to change it back. One thing that did happen yesterday was I received the new Verizon Droid Inc OTA update Not sure of the update number but its the one that has Slacker Radio Addition. That may be the issue. Any thoughts.
