View 1 RepliesI used the htc ringtone trimmed for one of the song in my music library on my phone and I'm sorry if there is already a thread for this but how are you able to delete these ringtones when you no longer want them? The program its self works fine for making ringtones but I cannot find anyway to delete them. I even looked in Astro. If someone doesnt mind could they please lend some advice on this. I've searched in the forums and I havnt found a solution to it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAny way or an app to unlink the ringtone and notification volume? This is a real deal breaker for me. I need to find a way to be able to set the phone on a "phone only" mode at night so that only the ringer is on.
this is on the new Galaxy Nexus with ICS. It was available on older version of android.
Is there any application that will allow me to set up notifications for my individual emails, sms, mms, and other notifications I get?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI programmed (in the "Settings") to have a custom ringtone (the Kimmunicator ringtone for Kim Possible) for notifications. However, it only vibrates when I get a text message. Also, the sounds only happens at random times, when I have NO notifications. It really bothers me. I want my Droid to give off the notification ringtone only when I have notifications, not when I don't have them.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI emailed my phone some ringtones and I saved them from the email, but when I try to set my ringtones from the Sounds menu, it only gives me the default ringtones.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI recently formatted my phone and lost an app I had and can't for the life of me remember what it was called. Prob cause I only used it once.. Anyway, it was basically a song editor and allowed you to make the crop a ringtone, alarm clock, notification sound, etc.
View 3 Replies View RelatedHow do I set a contact ringtone? The manual makes it seem like you pull up the ringtone in the music app and then hit menu->set ringtone.I can't find my sdcard/ringtone files when I go through the music app. If I go through astro and load the ringtone in music, I don't get that option.I even tried this for the ringtone that is my default ringer and that doesn't give me the option either, but I know it's a valid to be used as a ringtone, since it is my default ringtone.
View 7 Replies View RelatedSo I've been trying to use a MP3 sound for my alarm clock on my Incredible, but haven't had any luck other than just the "Light" "Instance" etc... what do I have to do, to get an actual song to be on that list to wake me up?
View 4 Replies View RelatedNew to android - anyone have any suggestions for ringtone apps? I currently have Zedge installed, but I am looking for a few others. In particular, I am looking for a ringtone from the Hangover that would say "PAGING DR F@GGOT" so I can put that in for a friend of mine. EDIT: Sorry I just saw the other thread on this.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI purchased my moment about 2 weeks ago and have been having fun figuring it out however there are some areas where I am having problems.
1. When you want to attach a document it selects the picture folder/area, how do you browse instead of being forced into that area.
2. I downloaded ringtone app and have found the app quite useful, the problem I am having is, the ringtones I have created don't show up in all the ringtone areas of my phone, what needs to be done to correct this.
3. The basic user guide that comes with the phone says there is an app I can download called samsung new pc studio. When I call sprint or samsung they say this app is not available or can't be used by a casd(the u.s. standard, I think casd is right), they say this software is only for the other standard, I did find this app on the web. Is what sprint and samsung saying true if not can I use the ones I found on the web.
4. If you could choose only ten apps to have(free)which ones would you choose?
Trying to help a friend with his Droid. He downloaded a ringtone from the Verizon site and he is trying to set it up as his "RINGTONE". Can someone please walk me through this.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy fiance upgraded from LG Voyager to Droid 2. She wanted her old ringtones from the Verizon Media store so she downloaded them. When she stored them they were given default names. I was able to make the appropriate ringtone associations, except for voicemail. I have 2 questions:
1. How do you set a ringtone for voicemail? When I run the standard voicemail app (Verizon) I cannot being up a menu.
2. How do I change the name of a ringtone file?
Is it possible to download the stock iphone sms ringtone? If so how or where do you get the ringtone?
View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen in the HTC music app, I select Menu/Set as Ringtone - the only 2 options it gives me is Phone Ringtone or Contact Ringtone. There is no trimmer option. Any ideas how to get to that option? I assumed it was standard. (Yes, I know I could download Ringdroid but if the built-in app works, all the better.)
View 4 Replies View RelatedI want to change my ringtone to a song I've installed on my phone. But no songs appear when I select the music drop down under settings > sound > phone ringtone > select music. From there I have 2 options, system ringtone, (which is redundant from the previous screen), and music. When I select music I only have selection: "Facebook Pop" which is a tiny pop not event listed as a music and generally useless. Before 2.2 I had no issue.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSorry if this has been posted before, I'm new to this site, but does anybody else think the volume on the inc is just too low? I keep the volume all the way up, but when I'm in my car or just outside with other surrounding noises, I just cant really hear it. It's useless to even put the ringer volume halfway or less, you could barley hear it at all. Is it just me or does anybody else have this problem?
View 13 Replies View RelatedI'd like to set a new default ringtone without using the ringtone picker. In other words, there is a certain ringtone that is already installed on my system, and I want to programmatically set it to be my default ringtone without any human interaction. The reason I want this is because every time I reboot my N-1, my previous default ringtone setting gets forgotten, and I am given another ringtone that I don't like. I want to set up an app that I can run manually (or better yet, to cause to automatically run upon startup) which will reset my default ringtone to the one that I like without my having to manually do this via the Settings.
The only examples I have found so far for doing this involve using the ringtone picker, but as far as I can tell, this requires human interaction, which I want to avoid.
Hey all, so I just got a Samsung Galaxy finally in the mail. It took long enough to figure out how to put music on it, then use my music for ringtones. But when I am in Settings for Notification Ringtones, I do not see the mp3 I added but only in Calling Ringtones. Why is this? I want to use the same ringtone for notifications too!.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI want to use the ringtone that comes stock on the phone called "New Player" as a notification tone for text messages. Any way that I can do so?
View 1 Replies View RelatedRight now my Voicemail Notification ringtone is the same as my text message ringtone, how do I change it? I don't want them to be the same.
View 3 Replies View RelatedHas anyone found a good ringtone for text messages? It seems like the ringtone and text tones have to be the same volume, and unless I want to crank up the volume on my phone (which makes the ringtone way too loud) I can't hear when I get a text message. I've tried a number of different tones (default phone options and some I've found on Zedge) but none really work for me. I love the one I had on my old LG phone, but can't find anything like it.
