Ive just downloaded the Liverpool FC fixtures list from the telegraph website onto my google calender online. It works fine online, but it won't sync and show up on my phone...
Any ideas? Ive never had a problem like this before for an imported calender.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAlright, so I'm pretty terrible with birthdays and other important dates so I started adding some of them to the calender. Suddenly I thought to myself, "Hey is there a way I can do birthdays, anniversaries etc from my people contacts and facebook and link them in one shot to my calender." Is this possible? Is it possible to have it send daily reminders as the date approaches? I see the option to send a reminder a day to a week in advance but does it send out reminder every day from the reminder point to the day of the event?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Macbook with iCal configured to match my Google calendar account. The two sync together with no problem. I tried setting up my HTC Desire to sync with my Google account which should give me three way sync but I get the following problem: I open Calendar on my phone, I try to add an event, a message appears saying: YOU HAVE NO CALENDARS. On the settings side, if I hit MENU then MORE and I choose CALENDARS I can't see my Google account. If I hit SETTINGS there is nothing to add my Google account. If I go to the ACCOUNTS & SYNC settings, I see my Google account, but when I hit my account, the data synchronization theme only shows SYNC CONTACTS and SYNC GMAIL, there is no SYNC GOOLGLE CALENDAR. I had Syncmate installed on my macbook and had it configured on my Desire, but it didn't sync the calendar either so I deleted it from my accounts. Could this be causing my problem or does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
View 1 Replies View RelatedHTC Desire. Google Contacts on PC (and laptop) and phone. These used to sync okay between each media. Whatever I changed on the pc/Laptop, would be reflected on the phone, and whatever I changed on the phone, would be reflected on the pc/Laptop. For the last week or so this has not been happening. Whether I change, add, or delete, on the pc/laptop or mobile phone, these changes are not reflected on the other media. The Calendar still syncs okay between the phone and pc/laptop. Now, is this a phone issue? A Google issue? A sync issue?

All of a sudden, it isn't syncing one of my google calendars (i have 3, all on the same account, and the other 2 are shown)I have gone into the settings of the calendar, and the missing calendar is listed and ticked. However, nothing is shown on the calendar on the phone (there are events if i check it online).
View 4 Replies View RelatedNormally when I put a new contact into Address Book on my Mac (Leopard) all I have to do is hit the sync button in the top menu and it's off to Google to be downloaded to my Desire.But! this does not appear to be working at the mo'. The upload from Mac to Google that is.Anyone know if it's a problem with Google at the mo' or something else.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm new to Android, having moved from Nokia this last week. I've added my email accounts - Gmail & Exchange, but now I've got 3 calendars. I know they all display on my mobile, and I get alerts for them all, but I'd ideally like my phone to sync all the calendars with eachother. So when I look on Outlook, I see my phone and Google calendar, and when I look on Gmail, I see my Outlook and Phone calendars etc. This would seem to be a fairly simple thing to do - just to 'link' the calendars in a similar way to linking the phone/Google/Facebook contacts. Any way to do this without involving any PC apps etc.?

I have googled this, but cant seem to find a solution to it. First, I have already added LFC fixtures to my google calendar in "other calendars", via google itself, but cannot seem to be able to make it show up in LPP widget. Previously I used the Telegraph fixture list, but its been discontinued for some reason (rights issue maybe?). Does anyone know a solution to this?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've used the search and read all thread that include "data" in the post's title. Lots of it was helpful, yet I have a few questions. This morning as a test to see how much data my phone uses just for syncing and any kind of background data, I turned on the network data and syncing.
after 20 mins it was up to 1.5mb (according to my data counter widget). I downloaded the Spare Parts app which shows me what instances use how much data; very useful. The 1.5mb I'm stating here already exclude RSS updates and a few web pages I loaded this morning. This 1.5mb is ONLY the syncing stuff. So my question is: Why and how can it be so much data? I use gmail and google calendar and contacts, and have some 400+ friends of Facebook (FB). Calendar and FB were already synced yesterday before I went to bed. How can another sync use so much data? It wasn't my email (Gmail) as there weren't many this morning.
The calendar sync apprently took up 468kb, and a process called "UID 10027" which i presume is FB? used 555kb. I'm really puzzled by these numbers. as google sync happens frequently throughout the day unless I activate it, usually i get up to 15mb a day without actually doing much (i.e. no browsing, no RSS feeds updates, no streaming). Why is the FB and Google sync taking up so much data? I downloaded FB for android, which replaced the FB for HTC application (so now I have inbox, and not the stupid "Take a Picture" in the app thank god) which doesn't even use the sync from the account settings but has its own update cycle which I had turned to 'manual'. Ialready switched off the "use WiFi for location" because I heard google maps otherwise constantly searches in the background
My desire suddenly decided to quit syncing with my google account. Also the market is not downloading update anymore.
I do have internet connectivity either on 3G or wifi. I can browse, use weather, Ross and news etc. just when I go in menu-settings-sync and press sync ... nothing happens
I already rebooted a couple of times nothing works? any suggestions?
My calender sync seems to have stopped. My company relies on Google Apps for our business communications, and normally everything works as expected. This morning, changes to my calender are no longer syncing from the cloud to my Droid. Interestingly enough, if I enter a new event on the Droid, it syncs to the cloud.
View 11 Replies View RelatedMy Google calender has synced with no problems. The monthly view shows each day white and the days with appointments show what looks like a green slider. However one day, this past Monday is gray. I have looked at my main Google calender and there is nothing different for this day then other days through the month. I am able to click on the gray day on both the main calender and on the Droid and it will open up. Does anyone else have something like this?

I had the owner unshare it with me and then re share it but this has not worked. does anybody know how i can sort this? it is really important that i have that i can see it on my phone.
My Google Calender is great being a calender but I have added Tasks and they do not show up on my pc desktop and phone on the Calender itself except on their actual Web. I see I can access them seperately by using an App called gtask but wondered if there is a way I can set it up so I can see my events and tasks all together on one calander. Hope this makes sense lol.

I'm desperately after a decent planner/Calender App for the Desire. One that ISN'T linked to Google Calendar.
Ideally I'm looking for one where the planner has colour coded bars for events like a traditional wall planner. These would be linked to the calendar itself.
I've tried most of the calendar apps out there, but I've not found one that's suitable. Also if I search for planner, I get all different kinds of planners, just not a basic universal one.
As the title says really, as from tomorrow, all my facebook friends birthdays are showing as double, all birthdays pre today are still showing as single.... Now i really do need a fix to this, cos it is gonna cost me a packet if i have to get everyone double gifts and cards.....

so I just convinced my boss that we should switch from our costly Ms exchange solution to google apps, as it can do all the same stuff we need and more. We all have Android phones and I have set up my HTC Desire (Android 2.2 sense UI) to sync with my google apps account, no problem.However my boss have the Motorola Milestone, and his android version just won�t sync with his google account. Every time I try adding a google account with his mail address (name@ourdomain.dk), I just get a �no network connection� error. But I can browse internet and youtube just fine.I have searched the forums, and it seems other people can add their google apps accounts just fine, while some have problems.

View 3 Replies View RelatedRecent switcher to Android and owner of brand new Galaxy S4 here. I have two separate Gmail accounts, one for work and one for home. Each has its own Google Calendar. Both accounts are linked to my phone.
However, I want separate apps on my GS4 to handle each Google calendar. My phone came with S Planner and I have added Google Calendar App (GCA) from the Play store.
On S Planner I choose to display the home account calendar - no problems so far. I then switch to GCA and choose to display the work account calendar. Great. However, and this is my problem, these apps now seem to be 'linked', such that when I then go back into S Planner from GCA it is now displaying the work account calendar instead of the home calendar.
In other words, changes in one app seem to be mirrored in the other app. Is there any way around this, so that each app only displays one account calendar?
I have a Nexus 4 and Nexus 7.I am trying to sync all my Google Drive photos with my Google + account. In Google + I have checked the box to allow Google Drive to sync with Google Drive. Most of the pictures show up in Google + without a problem. Some however, do not. There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to this either. All of my photo folders. It doesn't seem to be related to one format or another. (Ex. One JPG file is there and another isn't)
