It did, now it doesn't! Anyone else had this problem? I haven't changed any settings. When I check my Google Calender on a PC, it had various new entries. However, sync icon on the phone stays on the menu bar for ages, but phone Calender doesn't update.

I'm a new user and I've got a problem with the sync of my xperia 10 mini.
I want 2 sync my calendar and i don't know how 2 do this.
I'm from Switzerland. if somebody could write in French it would be so cool.
Had a little problem just came up on my X10 to keep it simple when I activate the vibrating mode it doesn't vibrate anymore. Any idea what it could be a hardware problem?

I do not use online only connected through my PC.
I do not have internet access on my SIM - all I want is a camera video phone with calender alarm clock and reminders.
I can not get a calender to operate.
I put a friends SIM card in to get internet access as phone kept asking me to start a gmail account to use the calender - after I take out the SIM it stops working
I have reset phone and updated softwares and still no calender option without google. What do I do now - the manual is NO HELP. How can I connect phone to PC and bring contacts over without this stupid synching I would never use.
How have SE managed to make such a simple task turn into a complete shambles? My experience of SE sync are:-
1. Being told that it doesnt work over Wifi? Why the hell not?!
2. It adding mutltiple entries for the same number in the same contact
3. It adding the same contact multiple times
4. Not being able to log in
5. Now not being able to make it stop syncing (or trying!) even when I have deleted the bloody account!!!!!!!
I have never been more disappointed with ANY product I have ever bought. In Halfords today and had to end the phone call because I couldnt hear who I was talking to. Pathetic.
My Timescape worked fine, but 13 days ago doesn't sync with the Facebook. I get a message: "Could not connect to the internet!" I tried with 3G and WIFI connection too. Everything works fine (for example the Twitter in Timescape or browser so the internet connection is available), only the Facebook refresh doesn't work. I tryed clear the timescape settings, and reconfig the timescape, tryed remove the Facebook account and re set, but the problem is the same. 4 days ago, I updated the phone software for the newest (R2BA026 1.1.31). I made a factory reset and made a repair with the PC Companion. I tryed remove the sony ericsson app, from my Facebook account. Still I have the problem, I can't fix it I didn't change anything, when the problem starts.
View 3 Replies View RelatedIt is the second time that sms stops to works on my xperia x2.The first one it was 2 months ago: I've just bought the phone, I notified the problem and I done a hard reset and it start to function normally (the software version was the last available in June).Today I have had the same problem: it is not possible to open the sms (no by the icon on the main page, no by the sms icon in the main menu, ecc), and new sms are not notified.

The Calendar website is not secure because it is not an https site so that means all my calendar stuff is open to the web. Put this together with my phone contacts list and some unscrupulous person could work out where I live and when I'm out of the house.What do you all think about this?

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy gmail won't push with Google sync in X10, definitely have no problem with the sync settings (all ticked), and tried to clear the data in Gmail and even a factory reset, but still no push. I then tried Moxier coming with the X10, surprisingly Gmail push works in it, and a very good function in Moxier is that you can customize the periods of pushing and polling mode within the day. But I still want to know why Google sync does not work in my X10, any other people have similar problem? I actually have a Moto Quench, which could push Gmail in the beginning, but suddenly stop pushing without a reason. Finally, can someone explain how the Gmail push works in Moxier. As Moxier is based on Microsoft Exchange server, I wonder how Microsoft Exchange server synchronizes with Google, is Gmail built based on Microsoft Exchange server?

Whereas contacts sync from gmail to phone works like a charm but it does not happen the other way round.That means any new contact created in the phone does not get synced with gmail.Is this a common problem? Has anyone found any solution for it? Does an SE moderator or staff care to drop in and enlighten on this issue.

Soetimeswhen i move the cable (Where it connects to the phone) around abit I can get a charge but lately nothing at all. Tried other usb cords and battery's and still nothing. View 3 Replies View RelatedBecause of several issues with SE sync, I am trying to use Google sync instead. However, this is also not working as expected: I wished to have all my phone contacts transferred from the phone to Gmail contact list. I started with an empty Gmail contact list. I enabled Google sync as described on the SE website. I don't know exactly what it does, but I also enabled Settings -> Data synchro -> Gmail (perhaps related to my e-mails?)
Result: Calendar syncs without problem. Contacts do not transfer from phone to Gmail
Second trial: I created a new contact "A" on GmailI created a new contact "B" on the phoneI ran sync
Result: Contact "A" synced successfully from Gmail to phone. No sync of contact "B" from phone to Gmail.
Third trial: I modified contact "A" on the phoneI ran sync
Result: The modification done on the phone did not sync to Gmail
Hints from the phone: When I try using Google sync for calendar, the sync icon shows for some seconds, before the date of last sync is updated. All ok. When I try using Google sync for contacts, the sync icon shows for 5-15 minutes. It then disappears, but no date of last sync is added. When I check the contact list, contacts have been synced from Gmail, but not to Gmail.
When I select Settings -> Data synchro -> Gmail, the sync icon blinks for some seconds with a yellow warning triangle. I don't know if this is related to my Gmail e-mails. The e-mails in the Gmail app are loaded without problem.I have already tried going to "manage application" and clear data for "Gmail" and "Gmail storage". I should probably mention that I synced my phone contacts with Gmail some months ago, without problems. This means that my Gmail contact list was not empty when I started messing with this. However, on my first sync attempt, contact lists on the phone and on Gmail were not synced. Instead, all Gmail contacts were added to the phone, causing 95% duplicate entries. I exported my Gmail contacts, deleted the entire Gmail contact list, and synced again to remove duplicate entries from the phone. Then started the process above. I would rather avoid deleting all the contacts from the phone to reload them from Gmail or SE sync, because addresses, facebook/twitter connections, etc. do not sync well.
For 1-2 weeks I cant sync my contacts with google any more.
I have turned auto sync off and just try to do it manually�
It tries for like 5 sec then says "there is a problem with sync, it should work soon, try again" or something like that.�
Now this HAS worked before, even after I updated to 2.1, but now it just wont.�
Think its a great way to keep a backup of the contacts.�
Manual sync for Gmail in the same menu works fine.
I don't know what I did - but suddenly I cannot sync my calendar with Google calendar no more?
If I go to settings/basic settings/ I cannot tap the "set up your Google account" no more?
Is there anywhere I can reset all this and start over?
I tried to use SE's calendar, but can only sync new events in the calendar that I save in SE calendar..

After wasting a lot of time I generated an account at Sony webpage and managed all my accounts including "birthday" but now I found out that the
phone is not creating a corresponding calendar entry and therefore my phone is not reminding me for any birthday.
I made a account on the community of sony erricsson so i can sync and update my data from the net.
The first sync of contacts, calander etc was oke.
But since a couple of days i cannot sync my contact with Sony Ericsson, i Tried to connect but always the same : sync failed .
Checked the internet connection and al seems working properly, gmail sync oke, all oke except the sync with Sony Ericcson.Any a idea how to resolve the problem .
Perhaps a setting but seems strange because nothing as changed since the first time.
I saw that there are already a number of discussions about sony erricson synchronization but I cannot find one for this specific message: Synchronization failed. It wouldn't tell me why it failed, it just spits out that generic message after I click "Finish" in the Sony Ericsson Sync Client Wizard.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'd like to use my X10 to keep all of my contacts' postal addresses in instead of the tatty old address book I carry in my handbag(!) I didn't fancy typing them all into the phone, so thought I would use the Sony Ericsson sync and put them into the pc first via the PC Companion sync application, and set up the sync to transfer them into my phone. I have tried a test run adding only a couple of addresses to my contacts on the pc, and adding one to my phone, but when I do a sync, the addresses don't transfer either way. I know that the actual sync is working because I added photos too and they transfer....... I must be doing something wrong that is easily rectified?

I have installed Sony Ericsson PC Companion on my computer and I managed to add new contacts by adding them on my pc and then sync-ing which updated the contacts on my phone! View 3 Replies View RelatedI just got my Xperia x10 mini pro today and so far I have noticed that my email doesn't update itself, I have to do it manually but it seems like the phone should be able to do that. I use a hotmail account on my phone and I would like to know if the email can update itself, if I have to wait for 2.1 to have this problem resolved or if it's just something that I'm missing. And sometimes the phone will say "Does not connect" when I do try to update it but it hasn't done it in the last few hours. In addition, there isn't any change in my real email account. I could read an email on my phone and still half an hour later that very same email will be considered new and unread. Is there any way to solve these issues?
