Anyone else having this issue?
No matter what web page I've tried, I get some form of an error message that I don't have a high enough version of adobe flash to play the video.
I've tried updating flash (v10.1.92.8) and didn't have any better luck so I reverted to the version on the phone. Any advice?

So I did unrevoked yesterday, found the update today, and manually upgraded to Froyo but in my excitement I forgot to unroot. Is that bad? I mean the phone works though lags and that's why I wanted to remove the bloatware but seems when I go to recovery I get a triangle exclamation point - so what do I do?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI wanted to see if anyone else was having this problem. I have my work e-mail setup to work as an exchange activesync. Everything was great up until about 3 days ago. I noticed that i was not receiving emails unless i manually updated the email. So i looked in settings/Send & Receive and under the Set download frequency it was set to "manual". I think to myself that weird since it was set up to "as items arrive" before. I then switch it back and after an hour still no emails but i am getting them on my computer. They use to actually get to my phone before my computer. Anyways i go back and try again but it seems it keeps defaulting back to "manual". I really want to avoid calling verizon since the last tech support called i made took 45mins to resolve the problem.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI noticed yesterday that only the top LED is lighting up when activating my flash while taking a picture. I am running Cyanogen 6 on the phone so I thought it might be some kind of software glitch so I restored back to my Stock + Root image and it still isn't working.
1. Has anyone else had this problem?
2. If I restore back to 100% stock (I haven't updated the radio yet) and bring it into Verizon, is this something they will cover under warranty and give me a new phone?
3. In the event that there are no Incredible immediately available do you think it would be possible to get a Droid X instead?
I updated using the update zip and it worked I have froyo but instead of flash I see boxes with little green arrows pointing down.

View 5 Replies View RelatedSo I just sent back my old phone back last week because the bottom LED suddenly stopped working. I had been switching back and forth between ROMs but the LED still didn't work even after resetting the phone back to factory defaults so I figured it had to be a hardware issue. I called up Verizon, explained to them that my one of my LEDs just stopped working and they shipped me out a new phone. I have been using my new phone for about a week and today I noticed that once again the bottom flash LED was not lighting up. I did a bump charge yesterday and I'm wondering if that might have something to do with it. I did notice when experimenting with the LEDs in the past that the LEDs will work differently depending on the battery level. For example if your battery is low (maybe 25%) only the top LED will light. If your battery is really load (maybe 10%) none of the LEDs will light up.
I would imagine this is by design to keep you from killing your battery when taking photos. My questions is, does anyone know anything about what the relationship between the battery level and the flash LEDs? Is it possible that by doing a bump charge or by swapping back and forth between ROMs that I could some how screwed up the mechanism in the phone that measures the battery level of the phone and adjusts the LEDs accordingly? Also I have been using the Incredilight app in order to allow me to use my LEDs as a flash light when coming to bed late at night. Not sure if that has anything to do with the issue but I thought it was worth mentioning. My phone is currently running the Stock ROM rooted (unrevoked3) with the original radio and s-on. Previously had been playing with CynogenMOD roms using ROM Manager.

As per that article, there is an update for flash available in the market. However, flash is baked into the evo rom, and did not come from the market. How do we get the update? Download the update from the market and will it overwrite what we already have?

Couldn't it be made available as an addon for Dolphin HD?

I just bought a new Miracast capable smart tv (LG LN5700). When attempting to connect using the new screen mirroring option, the wifi direct connection is successful, the tv recognizes that the connecion is made, but the screen goes black and eventually the connection dies. My girlfriend also has an S3 on Sprint running 4.2 and hers works just fine.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm working on a 1.5 Android application. Developing in Eclipse 3.4.2 on Windows XP. I have a MapView, have requested updates, etc.
The problem is that after the first manually injected GPS coordinate, the app stops recognizing that a GPS coord has been sent.

Then MyLocationListener simply changes the value in a TextView to match the new GPS coordinate.

I added some logging in the onLocationChanged method and it only ever sees a Location the first time that I attempt to send an update. All subsequent ones don't fire the onLocationChanged method.

According to http://developer.android.com/reference/android/location/LocationProvider.html#AVAILABLE , that 2 maps to "Available".
As soon as that "Available" gets set, no other locations get passed through. Seems a bit counterintuitive.
The title says it all just updated to firmware 1.21.405.2 on o2 backed up my settings beforehand but the restore didn't work! How do I try it again please?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI updated my unbranded desire to FroYo, and now I really wish I hadn't. Anything that requires data not Working as previously. My email is no longer push - I have to go in and manually refresh - which takes at least 5 minutes, and in the case of my exchange email, usually results in a sync error. Twidroyd, Twitter, Peep, Facebook, all timeout whenever I want to refresh them; I may get one proper update a day, but the rest of the time, nada.
Internet is so slow now, I just give up half the time. WiFi flickers on and off, even though it's set to on all the time. Anyone got any ideas of stuff I can check, or whether I can un update - I love the aps2sd and stuff, but it's bricked the rest of my phone. It's getting to the point where I'm actually starting to dislike the phone because it just doesn't work.
How can I manually install an app? Pretty simply question, with probably a simple response, but I have not a clue.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've searched all over and cannot find a way to mark Read SMS text messages as Unread. I get lots of texts and sometimes don't want to address specific ones until later. On my BB and other phones, I could mark as Unread, so it would stand out later when I could deal with them. There doesn't seem to be an option in the initial menus for texts.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've tried ShadowRom and CM6 and love both but it's far too buggy for me right now. On SR I would have 5-6 reboots a day which I can't bear. With CM6 it's down to 1-2 reboots a day but sometimes my phone will completely cut off and not reboot at all and I won't know that it's off until I go to wake it up. I also have had voicemails and missed calls that I haven't been notified of and the missed calls won't even show up in the call log later. I only know they are missed when friends tell me they called me three times in a row with no answer. Lastly the battery life is killing me on CM6. I've never drained my 2150 battery before and everybody for the past week I've had CM6 the battery had died with display as the main cause. So I've finally decided I just need to go back to Stock 2.2 and install LauncherPro. So my question is, I know how to remove some of the crapware but what other things can I remove that are Sense related from the stock rom that won't compromise the phone in any way but that will make it run faster and smoother? Is there a tutorial for this somewhere?

On my Nexus One, when adding contacts in the phone or in Gmail, they would show up on both the phone and Gmail contacts on my PC. With my Incredible, when I add contacts in Gmail, they show up on my phone, but not vice versa. How can I add contacts to my phone so that they will become Gmail contacts?

If you manually install a beta version of an application, can you install later release versions for that application as updates from the market? Or do you have to uninstall the beta version, then install the market version? I realize that you don't get update notifications, but I'm not concerned about that. I check the market regularly.
The reason I ask is I would prefer to not have to configure applications twice (specifically Touchdown).
I played around with Tasker back when I first got the Incredible, and it was really neat, but I didn't buy it since the Mobile Data Off setting wasn't working for CDMA phones.It was recently updated and this ability was supposed to be live now, but it still doesn't seem to work for me.I work in a very shielded building so when my phone senses the wifi network I want it to turn the mobile data connection off to prevent signal searching and associated drain.Anyone else have any luck w/ this? It's an awesome app w/ a lot of control, but this not working just leaves me using Timeriffic instead.
