HTC Incredible :: Error While Downloading .3gp Files And Saving Images / Missing Something
Sep 3, 2010Since 2.2 I have been unable to download anything and only get an error message after it takes you to the download screen. This is happening on the stock browser as well as skyfire. Am I missing something? This worked fine in 2.1.

Motorola Droid X :: Files - Folders Missing In Explorer
Nov 10, 2010I have a Droid-X and am having a peculiar problem. When I connect the phone to my PC with the USB, I try to browse the files on the "DROIDXRemovable Storage" directory, but only some of the files and folders are showing up. If I download and save a file on the device, it doesn't show up at all in explorer. I've even tried copying a file to the device from windows, and as soon as I disconnect and reconnect, the file is gone in Explorer even though it shows up fine on the device's file manager. Does anybody know why these files and folders are missing when I browse in Windows Explorer?

Android :: Files Written To SD Card Not Shown / USB Mass Storage Option Missing
Apr 8, 2009My application writes data to a file in the SD card directly. There are no errors during the write. But, the file never shows up on the card, in the file browser (on the device - I use Glance). Where did the file go? When trying to browse the device from my desktop, I notice the USB Mass Storage option is missing guess that's expected since others in the forum explain that it was removed in this version. But, I can't get my PC to browse the memory card when it's stored in the phone. This all just seems to add up to a flaky memory management problem, but I can't be sure.

May 21, 2013Earlier I've posted about losing my keychar and keylayout folders but however downloading some files and folders from the internet and from other (non-samsung phones) my keys started working...However my home key, back key, the power keys doesn't work!
I probably think that some files are missing from my system folder (keychar and keylayout folder). I do not want to re-install my android once again. (I do not have backups either)

May 3, 2010I bought the Incredible. I love it so far. (I could do a very large review on it vs. an iphone 3g.However, I have found that my corporate email calendar is not syncing correctly. I am missing events! I have reinstalled the active sync account 3 times now and each time it resyncs different calendar items.I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if I am just doing something wrong.

Jun 13, 2010I have about 17 pictures i have taken from my camera on my phone.Now i can see all of them when i go into the photos app. When i view the details they all say the location is 100 media.Now when i use ASTRO or plug my phone into my laptop.Only 2 show up?i checked every file folder on the phone, and sd and they are just not anywhere? i also tried the 3d gallery app, and that can't find the missing 15.New pictures i take show up.Im lost.

Oct 31, 2010I have 31 pictures that are no longer accessible.Of course, they're all Halloween pictures of my kids. They WERE there.I've looked at them, been able to see them.Now, all of a sudden, they're grey boxes with a picture symbol and exclamation point.On my computer, they show up as a red X.I thought I might be in luck since I back everything up with Lookout. Well, apparently Lookout is NOT doing it's job. I've never checked up on it before, and tonight when I log in, although the option to back up pictures is checked, it DOES NOT BACK UP PICTURES! None of my pictures have ever been backed up with Lookout.

Oct 22, 2010I plugged my phone into my laptop to charge, which I normally do. While it was charging, I decided to take a look at some files I had saved on the phone/microSD. However, when I went to the notification bar to change the USB connection setting, there was nothing there to change! I even went into Settings>Connect to PC and changed the setting to "Disk Drive", exited settings, unplugged the phone, and replugged it in, still nothing. The phone IS charging, but the computer doesn't recognize it. I even uninstalled the driver, hoping it would force the driver to be reinstalled by plugging the phone in again but still nothing. I tried different USB ports!

May 12, 2010When in the HTC music app, I select Menu/Set as Ringtone - the only 2 options it gives me is Phone Ringtone or Contact Ringtone. There is no trimmer option. Any ideas how to get to that option? I assumed it was standard. (Yes, I know I could download Ringdroid but if the built-in app works, all the better.)

May 8, 2010I am trying to my mom to my "favorites" screen on one of my homepages. The funny thing is, she is not listed when I hit the + key. Yet if I go to people, her name is there. I also noticed that the contact list that came up on the favorites screen was much shorter than the contacts I have listed under people. Could some of them be on the SD card? How do I get them merged? Or am I off base?

Oct 2, 2010Anyone else missing random meetings on your phone? I can't seem to find the pattern. Some have a URL, some just a con call #. Yet I can recreate test meetings with both and they come through the device. Here's what I've tried:
-I've remove the account and recreated it, but the problem remains.
-Upgraded to 2.2 OTA
-Rooted, installed CM6 and Virtuous 2.7, issue remained with both.
-Finally installed Touchdown, but the issue remains.
HTC Incredible :: Network Extender Missing Calls

Poor Service inside home w/ my BBerry Curve 8330 pushed me to get a Verizon Network Extender. It DRAMATICALLY improved coverage and never dropped a call after it (except when leaving/coming into range of Network Extender (NE)
Now i've got the Droid Inc and have been noticing an unsettling trend:
When connected to the NE, i have missed at least 2 calls (that i know of only because they left vmails) in the last 2 days since having the phone. No entry in the call history.
I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing this?
As far as the NE itself goes, i wouldnt be able to do business or make calls from my home/home office without it. I dropped calls from my BBerry so much that i almost left Verizon because of it. The NE changed everything.
It was a little bit of a pain to set up but after it's connected it just works. It does NOT improve data service (3G) but with WiFi it doesnt matter.
HTC Incredible :: Missing Contact In Facebook When Trying To Link
Jun 28, 2010Searched through the forums, didn't see a similar topic discussed. Just happened a few days ago, where one of my contacts on my phone from Gmail that was linked to Facebook all of a sudden is unlinked. When I tried to relink to fix it, the contact doesn't appear on the list to link. Going into the Facebook app, the contact is listed there. Anyone run into this or have any idea how to fix? Tried a reset already, after backing up apps/messages.

Jul 9, 2010Almost every time I install a custom Rom, the Marketplace won't show all of the apps. The missing apps aren't always paid apps though, just certain ones (both free and paid). The only solution I've found is to go back to the stock Rom.. does anybody have any ideas/suggestions? I've tried searching (this forum and Google) but didn't really find any answers.

Nov 4, 2010I haven't downloaded anything new lately, but my Inc is totally out of whack.I posted the other day about my pictures showing up as gray boxes with exclamation points.I've also, just in the past few days, had random reboots, and last night even got stuck in a short boot loop.Then this morning, my ringtones are all mixed up. All of the ones I had set are something completely different than what I set them to.Is it possible it's my memory card causing all of this? It seems like that would be best case scenario.
