Android :: Upgraded To 2.2 / Missing Apps From Market
Aug 1, 2010I've just upgraded to 2.2 and i'm missing some apps from the market (stupidly uninstalled for space before upgrading) Can anyone else with 2.2 (official) check and tell me if you can see them in the market -Photo Studio Buddy (there should be 2 versions one lite and one paid).

Mar 24, 2010Anyone else really missing swype after going to ESE53 based ROM? Really loving the rom, but kinda dying without swype. I hate manually typing in letter by letter when using the phone in normal position. Use to be able to fly through text and not have to go horizontal to type. Anyway, any idea when Swype for 2.1 is coming out?

May 3, 2010I bought the Incredible. I love it so far. (I could do a very large review on it vs. an iphone 3g.However, I have found that my corporate email calendar is not syncing correctly. I am missing events! I have reinstalled the active sync account 3 times now and each time it resyncs different calendar items.I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if I am just doing something wrong.

Jun 18, 2010Is there a shortcut or something to enter '.com' in fields using Swype? On the stock keyboard there is a key for '.com' which actually comes in handy quite a bit.
Just didn't know if Swype also made this easy?

May 6, 2010I have it installed. It's checked under keyboards in settings. I go to a random txt msg and hold down the voice button until it turns into settings but under keyboard types I only have 3 choices and none of them are swype.

Jun 2, 2010I tried to install Swype. It installed no problem, and I can select it as an input method. All is good, untill I try to swype a word. I get the little "swype mark" blue streak deal, and it makes the noise, but no word appears in the text box area. I've tried it on the internet, handcent, and normal messages.

May 4, 2010I downloaded and installed Swype. I went to settings>language & keyboard and checked the Swype box. Under touch input>keyboard types, I only have 3 options Qwerty, Phone Keypad and Compact Qwerty. One of them has to be selected. Anyway, even with the Swype box selected, the qwerty keyboard still shows up on any screen where I enter text. I went through the Swype tutorial and know that its installed, I just can't seem to activate it.

May 14, 2010Posted this last night but it got deleted or something so I will try again. Here is a link to apk for a blue swype keyboard. This is not the keyboard that the keys turn blue when you press them, the entire keyboard is blue. Thanks to Sneakyfreak for making this and allowing me to share it.You have to uninstall any previous keyboards you are running on swype then install this apk to have it work.
