Do want the icon for your Incredible's SD card to be a Droid icon when you browse your Incredible from your PC? (see image)
unzip the two files to the root of your SD card. this worked on my storm (notice my Storm's internal drive still has a 9550 as an icon in the image). so i assume it will work on the incredible.

I want use android as my os of a pda,but adnroid is a os designed for mobile phone, so i want to customize the ui and delete some models that i did not need in andriod. it seems that i should do a lot of work. is it possible to do that? or has anybody else done that kind of work before?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have my email settings to retrieve every 5 minutes, sometimes when I reply to a email I get the unable to send mail then I check the account settings and it says unable to communicate with the driod outoutgoing server, I restart my phone then it will work but this is not a solution long term. 1) EMAIL no empty the trash? I have over 1000 emails in the trash and I cant empty them.
2) EMAIL You can EASILY open an email trying to check it.
3) EMAIL No way to create filters to separate emails and create JUNK filters.
4) EMAIL You can easily open an email trying to scroll. Seems like we need a safe area on the left or right so we can scroll without opening the email.
5) Text Messaging. You cant copy a sent message or a portion of it? This doesn't seem possible and is very irritating. I cant forward a message either.
6) Text Messaging something read a text message for me? Like a text to voice reader? This can help with all the driving rules.
7) Text Messaging An automatic reply that can be turned off or on to inform users you are on the road.
8) Video Player. I like to play movies but have often noticed audio drift on several
videos. SO the video player needs a way to delay or advance audio to match the video like VLC has.
9) Video Player ZOOM I need custom zoom sizes so I can play video and resize them to FIT the video window irrespective of the aspect ratio. The screen it too small to care.
I want to digitize my video at 320x480 and zoom it up why not so I can get more video on my phone.
10) WEB Browser Last complaint for today.. FLASH WHERE THE $^$%#& is the FLASH support that was promised by Adobe?
11) WEB Browser Shouldn't you be able to copy text from a web page to use in a search?
WHY cant I view pages without being classified into special class?
I love the phone but it really lags from where I expected it to be at this point. With so many developers maybe its hard to find the good stuff?
I've gotten the Motorola RAZR and now cannot download any attachments that come in via text. I see a "download" button and a "delete" button, but no attachment. When I touch "download" it appears that the attachment is downloading, but then I get the cursed red X! I have contacted Motorola tech support. Interestingly, the attachments came in fine on my Thunderbolt, but have never shown up on my RAZR..
View 2 Replies View RelatedI own a Droid Razr M (8 GB) and I am running a stock build(9.8.1Q-78-1), and yesterday I reset my phone to factory defaults because I filled up it's disk space, then, I re-rooted it, it worked fine, but now, today I am missing EVERY SINGLE stock app, I tried resetting it to factory defaults again, and it still was missing them all, I then used a device explorer, and my "system/app" folder is like completely empty, (DROID RAZR M Running JB 4.1.2 as stated in the title)
If it makes a difference, it is a Verizon, it was 100% stock still, I had not installed anything yet after I rooted it, and the root was 100% successful because I did it the same way I did before.
All I need is, Camera, Galary, and Calendar now.
Can you switch the operating system from windows to andriod, is there a program for it

I have a folder where I store all my movie videos that I would like quick access. The Gallery is much too slow having to search all my pictures and videos on my entire 16GB SD Card to populate and it doesn't even display the video name (its difficult to identify movies by the small thumbnail it displays). The best way to launch these currently I find is to traverse the directory tree using an explorer app, but I prefer a quicker method if possible.

I did the nandroid. I did the titanium. i flashed using rom manager and selected clear cache/data.
ROM loaded perfectly.. and when i went to titanium to restore, nothing was there!
I plugged the phone into the computer, and i can't even view the card.
I can browse the phone's memory, but not the cards.
I'm hoping there's some adb command or something that'll fix this...
I received the OTA for my DInc this morning. The most noticeable difference is that I no longer have a 3G icon. It has been replaced with a new icon that looks like a stack of windows (or pages) and is always constantly lit and never changes. Is this Verizon's response to the grayed out 3G ? To remove it entirely?
View 13 Replies View RelatedSo after using google maps to navigate somewhere today, the small icon on top of the phone saying that the gps is active will not go away or turn off. i don't have any crazy apps and i even tried using task killer to stop maps and also the force close on it from settings not sure what to do to make this go away. hopefully it's not messing with the battery life. does anyone else have this issue or know more about it?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been having a problem for the past few weeks with my Incredible being in a constant state of sync. I can tell this by the sync icon spinning around and around in the bar up top. There's a rouge app calling for sync somewhere, how can I find it? I've already tried to obvious method of going into settings > accounts and sync and disabling literally everything in there. Facebook, Weather, Google, everything is turned off. Another app somewhere is using sync. The only way to get it to stop is to hit the cancel sync button on that page and then it goes away for a few hours and then it comes right back. I'm sure this is a huge battery suck. Is there an app that monitors other app usage with sync or something?

I went into recovery and moved the VV.apk and other file to an app.disabled directory on my phone, the issue is that the icon is still in the apps section? Any reason you guys could think of as to why? Actually now that I click on it it for some reason takes me to MMS messages and the icon is just called voicemail. Can I get rid of that icon as I use google voice?
