I've gotten the Motorola RAZR and now cannot download any attachments that come in via text. I see a "download" button and a "delete" button, but no attachment. When I touch "download" it appears that the attachment is downloading, but then I get the cursed red X! I have contacted Motorola tech support. Interestingly, the attachments came in fine on my Thunderbolt, but have never shown up on my RAZR..

I own a Droid Razr M (8 GB) and I am running a stock build(9.8.1Q-78-1), and yesterday I reset my phone to factory defaults because I filled up it's disk space, then, I re-rooted it, it worked fine, but now, today I am missing EVERY SINGLE stock app, I tried resetting it to factory defaults again, and it still was missing them all, I then used a device explorer, and my "system/app" folder is like completely empty, (DROID RAZR M Running JB 4.1.2 as stated in the title)
If it makes a difference, it is a Verizon, it was 100% stock still, I had not installed anything yet after I rooted it, and the root was 100% successful because I did it the same way I did before.
All I need is, Camera, Galary, and Calendar now.

One of the issues is that I could not find a way to download the playlists I had created in google music onto the phone. So, I created playlists on my phone, made sure all of my music was set to be on the device. As soon as I made a playlist on my phone it immediately began downloading those songs out of the cloud.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am trying to recover text messages from a factory defective Droid Razr. I need to send the phone back on a warranty return, but I'm hoping to pull all my text messages before I send it.
Here is the problem...my phone will only stay on for like 2 minutes max at a time before it power cycles. I have SMS Backup+ installed, but I can only recover like 5-10 messages per power cycle (its takes a few seconds to startup the wifi, app, and login).
Is there anyway I can use a USB cable to transfer the texts to my new phone? Or can I use the "My Files" utility to transfer them directly to the SD card? Or any app that will transfer the texts to the SD card (instead of backing them up online)?
(Additional info: I am running the standard, non rooted ICS)
Simply disable the text messaging app and it will no longer appear on your unlock screen. Settings, apps, all, text messaging then select disable.

I have tried searching around here and it seems the EVO folks are stuck as well. Would Google really stop us from doing something so essential? Whenever my wife emails me a picture of our dogs (no kids so these are our kids) it always comes through as "photo" so when I download it saves as that. Now if I don't go back into the picture viewer and rename it the next time i try to save a photo attachment it tries to overwrite the last one as its comes in as "photo". Is there any easier way of renaming these attachment without having to go into picture viewer and renaming the last one first? Basically I'm want to do a "save as"

unzip the two files to the root of your SD card. this worked on my storm (notice my Storm's internal drive still has a 9550 as an icon in the image). so i assume it will work on the incredible.
