HTC Incredible :: Add An App To The Default List

I thought this was covered before, but if it was, I can't find it.
Is there a way to add a program, like a video player to the list that pops up when you want to "preview" a video in an email in Gmail"
I keep getting wmv videos in my email and the only option is to "preview" it. When I say "OK" a list of players pops up, but none of them play the video, most don't do anything and some play the audio only. I have a player I would like to add to the list and even make it my default, but there is no way to leave the list of choices and "browse" to the player I want to use.
Does anyone know where to add a player to the list?

I want to change the default highlight color for list.But it doesn't work, the allow list area has set to the high-light color I want to set. Any thing wrong with my code?

Im using IMAP. What happens is I scroll down and open say the 20th email on the list. When Im finished reading the email, I click the back button. It automatically defaults to the very top of the mail list - forcing me to scroll back down to read the 19th email and work my way back up. In other words it doesnt take me back to where I had just scrolled.

I am trying to overwrite the default backgroud color of List item which is holding the focus in the ListView. As you can see, in Android Setting Menu, when you scroll through the ListView, the focused ListItem has a red backgroud to highlight its focus. Does any way to change the default behavior by highlighting it with other color or just a bottom red line under this Item.

Is there a way to make it so that the facebook contacts, etc, don't show up in your default contact list? I just want to show the names and phone numbers of the people that I have actually programmed into my phone, not everyone that I have on facebook.

Whenever you click on an embedded YouTube video, it uses HTC's YouTube instead of giving the option to use the YouTube app. Is there a way to make it give the option to view the video using the YouTube app?

I have a few basics things I was hoping the Calendar app would do for me so that I could stop using my old desktop app (Calendarscope) and officially move to Google calendar with sync on the Incredible.
I mostly use the calendar for events and always include a reminder so that I can keep track of my life. However, when an event reminder pops up on the Incredible I only have two options: Dismiss or Snooze. I can't snooze for 1 hour or 2 hours or 2 days (the way I might in Outlook). It's just "Snooze".
When I press Snooze, it seems that the event gets hidden for 10 minutes and then comes back. When I dismiss it, I no longer get reminded of it but it sits in the notification area.
When I go into the notification area, if I want to dismiss any one event, I cannot seem to do it. All I have options for are "Snooze All" and "Dismiss All". If I long press on any event, I don't get a menu that says "Dismiss this Event" or "Snooze this Event". I don't understand this...Am I missing something totally obvious?
When I go the settings of the calendar program and then into Reminder Settings, I see a checkbox at the end that says "Hide Declined events" but I don't understand how to "decline" an event. I only seem to be able to snooze and dismiss (as mentioned above). Again...am I missing something?
All I want is to be able to easily manage the snoozing and dismissing of individual reminders/events but this doesn't seem to work properly.

We've recently moved to TN and my Incredible still thinks I'm in VA. All apps, like weather, Poynt, etc., show my old address, even when GPS is turned on. There must be some setting on the phone doing this, but I sure can't find it.

Even having this thing sync regularly its not accurate. Where is this weather coming from? I changed to weather bug and weather channel, both free apps are way better accuracy wise.

How do you get the Incredible to open up the youtube player when you tapping on a youtube vid on a webpage? Right now mine opens up the HTC flash player to play it.. I would rather have it open the youtube player for the full screen high quality experience like my moto droid did.

First post here. I tried searching (a lot) and couldn't find the answer. You know the box that pops up when you send a text that asks what app you want to use? There is a message at the bottom that tells you how to change defaults once you check the "don't ask me again" box. I didn't bother to read that and now can't find where to change the default. Anyone know or can someone look at that box and read what it says at the bottom? I can't anymore since I chose a default and the box no longer pops up.

I am trying to pair my Incredible with the bluetooth system in the Mini Cooper. To do so I have to enter a bluetooth passcode in the phone (for the car) and in the car (for the phone). I know that cars pass code, but I do not know the phones default passcode (nor can I find it anywhere in the manual).

Although I have DolphinHD and Skyfire browsers loaded on my DInc, I generally use the default browser. Yesterday, for no apparent reason, the bookmarks would not load...instead I get a Force Close option:
Sorry! The application Internet (process com.android.browser) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try. again.
I tried loading the HTC Bookmarks widget to see if I could grab my bookmarks that way. It claims I have no bookmarks.
So, I go to the market and add the app "Bookmarks to SD". I use it to transfer those supposedly non-existant bookmarks to the SD and then I sync them to the DolphinHD browser. Voila...the bookmarks are fine and working in DolphinHD.
So, the default browser is pretty useless now since it won't let me retrieve bookmarks and I'll just use Dolphin from now on.

When you click Phone->Menu->Settings,
What is the default message in the "Edit default message" used for? Right now it says "I am busy right now. I will call you later".
Also, what is the "Edit message" field for? Right now it says "Edit text message before sending". Not sure why these text message sounding settings are in Phone settings.

I have installed handcent on my DI, and I agree that it is better than the stock app. However, if I receive a new message, it opens in the stock app, and not Handcent. I have to manually start handcent to use it. How do I get handcent to be my default app for texting? I have searched through the settings and can't find anything that makes it the default app.

I can change how long the default alarm is on a new event but I can't set it as no alarm?
Every time I add event I have to manually set it to have no alarm.
I seldom want an alarm for an event.

in my "People" list, I have several individuals that have multiple phone numbers - work landline, home landline, work cellphone, personal cellphone, etc. When I tap on such an individual in People, I'm presented with a list that looks like this:
Call home
[home number]
Call mobile
[mobile number]
Send message
[home number]
Send message
[mobile number]
.
.
.
I would like to be able to remove the "Send message" option for all numbers except for their personal cellphone number. It obviously makes no sense to try and send a text message to a landline, and I certainly want to avoid texting to a work cellphone.

I added a few numbers and names to my contacts and a few hours later when I went to view the contact list one of the names was on the screen inside a transparent black box and wouldn't clear even though i could scroll through the list. Has anyone had this happen? I want to know how or why it was there. It took restarting the phone to clear it.
