HTC Incredible :: Default Browser Bookmarks FC

Although I have DolphinHD and Skyfire browsers loaded on my DInc, I generally use the default browser. Yesterday, for no apparent reason, the bookmarks would not load...instead I get a Force Close option:
Sorry! The application Internet (process com.android.browser) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try. again.
I tried loading the HTC Bookmarks widget to see if I could grab my bookmarks that way. It claims I have no bookmarks.
So, I go to the market and add the app "Bookmarks to SD". I use it to transfer those supposedly non-existant bookmarks to the SD and then I sync them to the DolphinHD browser. Voila...the bookmarks are fine and working in DolphinHD.
So, the default browser is pretty useless now since it won't let me retrieve bookmarks and I'll just use Dolphin from now on.

Using the default browser and click 'Menu --> Bookmarks' Then 'Menu --> Sort By' Then I select 'Mostly used' and hit OK.
It now sorts by 'Mostly used', but when I go back to my bookmarks, it often reverts to sorting by 'Newest'. It's usually fine when I immediately look at the bookmarks again, but when browsing later in the day it reverts back. I prefer to have my most used bookmarks listed first and having to reset as often as I do is annoying.

Anyone else have the problem of their bookmarks in the stock browser reverting back to the default ones? Twice in the last week I have lost all of my bookmarks on a phone power off and back on - I did not go in and clear any data or cache in the browser.

I have installed Dolphin and like it, and I've made it my default browser, which is great. However, it is not only the system default, but it even opens links I click on in the Android provided browser (sometimes I both open). On your computer, when you click links in your non-default browser it doesn't send the links to the default one, and it shouldn't on this OS, either. Any ideas how to keep Dolphin as my system default browser, but not have it open links I click on in the Android web browser?

Moving my thumb over the trackpad just goes from link to link, but it disorients me because I can't predict where it will jump.Is there a way to just make it show a cursor?

It seems after the device has been running for a day or two, the Internet browser will cease to fully load web pages. The load bar will get to some point and stop and the page never fully loads. No other web based apps are affected. At first I would restart the device and that, of course, would fix it. Lately I ended up just force stopping the browser and that fixed it as well.

I have the "large" bookmark widget on one of my screens. Everytime i go to the websites from this link it comes up with a version of the site that is maybe a day or 2 old. For instance i just went to phandroid.com and at the top of the page it shows the latest article as "Android 2.2 allows Auto Updates" when in fact if i go on it on my laptop there are 13 new articles..... even when i refresh the page (on my phone) it does the same thing...

Is there anyway of changing the order of the bookmarks? I know you can in Dolphin, but as I added the paged I most visit first, they're now at the bottom of the bookmark list, and I'm sick of having to scroll through them all to get to the main sites I like.

I thought I would try 'Dolphin' and on the whole like it, just a matter if getting used to it. Is there a way that I can still use the default 'Bookmarks' as I Luv that widget rather then having to keep going into 'Home' in 'Dolphin' to find my bookmarks. I see that we can import bookmarks from default browser to Dolphin but not the other way. Maybe I am missing something but if anybody can show me a way so that I can continue using my default bookmarks widget using 'Dolphin'

I am kind of new to the G1 and this site. I've only had my phone for a few weeks. I've been using the chrome browser for it's download functions, but I can't seem to figure out the program in depth. There's some buttons that will flip between pages that are open, but I can't seem to figure out how to save bookmarks with it. Is there a text file or instructions on how to use this program?

Recently upgraded to the over the air Orange 2.1 for my hero. everything works great apart from all my bookmarks have disappeared from the menu in the browser. the files are still on the SD card, how can i link the browser to this folder?

My phone was working great, had the stock internet browser loaded up with all my bookmarks. They were showing in the bookmarks widget as well.Now when I try to open "bookmarks" in "menu", the browser crashes and forces me to close it. The bookmarks widget shows no bookmarks either.I do not want to do a hard reset if I don't have to.

When I first got my Desire I used the stock internet browser. I added a bookmark for netcarshow.com. After a while I started using Dolphin HD which I found to be far better, and started adding several bookmarks to Dolphin. Fast forward a month or so and I'm still using Dolphin HD and have been using LauncherPro for the past couple of weeks.
The problem is when I add the LauncherPro Bookmarks widget to a homescreen. It only shows the bookmark for netcarshow.com; my saved bookmarks in Dolphin are nowhere to be seen. They all show when using the browser, but not in the LauncherPro widget. I've looked through every setting for Android, Dolphin and LauncherPro but can't find a way to import/export the bookmarks. Also used Astro to look for bookmarks folders (to copy/paste) and viewed the SD card using USB on my PC, but unable to find any stored bookmark data. The LauncherPro widget is excellent but I can't figure out how to get it to display the Dolphin bookmarks, any ideas?

recently I've started using Dolphin on my android phone, and I'm wondering if there's a way to move all my bookmarks from my desktop browser (Opera 10.60) to Dolphin since I have a lot of bookmarks and having to manually add all of them would be a huge pain.

My browser is Dolphin HD and I need a bookmark widget. I have a full page (4x4) to fill, and would like something that shows either a scrolling list or a collection of thumbnails of the sites. The stock Android widget only shows 6 thumbnails (non scrolling) and the HTC Bookmarks widget will only show 6 bookmarks, 5 of which are links to Orange webpages that STILL show after I deleted them! I have a fairly short list of about 10 bookmarks, stored by Dolphin, and I want quick access to them from my homescreen without placing individual icons.
