being a plasterer i need a cover that will give full protection. not like the one ive just received from ebay its open at the the front.bit like a pair of crotchless knickers really looks nice but not good for my dirty hands any ideas where i can get something that will cover the full phone without being to bulky.cheers mark.

View 8 Replies View RelatedAt complete fault of my own in a move I should have known better than to do, my phone decided to hang out for a few minutes on the bottom of my oven, face up, while it was on at 375F. The phone is actually surprisingly great - everything still works, makes calls, cam and rear speaker seem unaffected - but the back battery cover is messed up now. Because I'm optimistic and dumb, I went to Sprint to see if I could get a replacement door from them. No go. Then I checked HTC's website, and they don't seem to sell anything for this phone at all (exaggeration). Ultimately I plan to wrap my Hero in one of those jelly cases, but I already own one and I'm away on vacation and refuse to by another. Still, despite being wrapped up incognito, I'll be secretly bothered by my less-than-perfect phone, so I really want to order another one.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got back from having my headset speaker replaced (i think it blew) and when i got my phone back, the back cover is really loose. I pointed this out and they offered to put a new cover on. The new cover did the same thing and they said that it must have been like that when they got it in. I saw the guy struggle to take the cover off when he went to pull the battery and check water spot. Does anyone else have this problem and how do i fix it. It takes absolutely no effort what so ever to take the cover off now. The slightest bump or slide and its off.

I've found some plugs for the iPhone online, but i wasn't sure if they would fit into the Hero very well, they don't look like they would from the pictures. Or if anyone knows an easy way to create your own plug that looks fairly decent that would be cool too. I checked around the forum here, but i wasn't able to find any info regarding this yet.

Has anyone noticed that over time the battery cover seems to get looser and looser? Its to the point now where it sometimes falls off in my pocket. I'm thinking about getting a replacement cover but I've been told that the only ones available immediately are "urban brown covers" which I presume to be mocha covers. I've yet to see a mocha hero (other than in pics online) so I don't know if my hero will look weird with a mocha battery case. Is the color difference very obvious?

When i choose the picture to set as my wallpaper, it asks me to crop the picture which is all ok.... But then once the wallpaper is set, it's spread across all 7 pages. View 24 Replies View Relatedi got this problem recently after installing a bunch of new app, till this point with all app & wi-fi on ,it took about a day to recharge,when i used my phone with all functions, but now: i uninstalled most of those new app,i turn wi-fi,gps,3g off,kill all background tasks with task panel,even so, with a full charge battery in STAND-BY, it takes just about 3-4 hours for battery to be empty! any solution please? i can't use my phone in real way any more because if i brows internet or use any app it is gonna empty in less then 2 hours,battery app tell me battery has excellent health too? the only new app that i didn't uninstalled is battery widget itself,could it be the source of this problem? the other change i had were: i gave quick access(show application in notification bar) for "toggle setting" & "task panel".

I recently wanted to get some addresses I have stored in contacts and found that they only show up as "show on map". The problem is, quite a few of my addresses are really long and you can't see the whole address under the "show on map" option, and I don't want to map it! I just want to see it so I can write it on an envelope. I guess I could map it every time I need an address, which is a waste of time, but even then, some of the addresses are in other countries and the map func. fails the address disappears before I get a chance to write down all the info. Is there a way to actually view the entire address without the map part?
On a side note, does anyone know why I can't sync birthday info for contacts from google contact's? Mine never show up, I only get Facebook birthdays.
And while I'm at it, even thought I use mybackup pro, when I have to do a hard reset, all my stored ringtones for contacts disappear and i have to program them all in again.

So I was messing around with ZenEXP and really loved it though I ran across a problem. I noticed via system panel that my cpu clock speed was stuck redlined at the full 691mhz. I've tried using both setcpu and overclock widget to alleviate this but neither helped, anyone else have this problem or know of a workaround?
