my frinds send me pics but its say download message size 30kb when i download it says unsuceesful. all the time. is there a program where i can view or were do they go ..how can i fix this

View 11 Replies View RelatedI have an HTC Hero Sprint, phone. My service provider is not sprint, i live in Alaska and have ACS as my provider. I was told that my phone will not do picture messaging, and that it was a phone limitation not a network one. Other users have picture messaging on their blackberries. Can someone recommend a good app for SMS and MMS that might allow me to send picture messages.
View 12 Replies View RelatedOne problem, everytime i send a picture message to my friends they only get "Message Corrupt" and they cant open it. One of my friends has a 'Desire' and he can open it fine. i can recieve pic messages ok. Have spoke to my service provider, they cant help me at all. They did try for 2 hrs this morning. I have 14 days to leave this phone back, it would be a shame to leave this back because of a messaging problem. but i will as picture messaging adds a bit of fun to your phone.

I downloaded Handcent App and I would love to use it, but When I do use it, I get text messages sent to the App I downloaded, and to the default text messaging that came with the hero. How can I make my text messages only send to Handcent SMS instead of Both? I'm new at having a cell phone that has so much you can do with it, so I will probably have tons of more questions, but these are the 2 questions that I would love to be figured out first and then eventually I will ask others when I have them.

View 2 Replies View RelatedFirst off the phone is not rooted or flash and I am using handcent. Now to the problem. If I'm looking st my contacts all the pictures show. However when I receive an incoming call or message the picture is not on there. When I receive a call it doesn't even show up on my caller id it just shows the number. I have updated the prl and profile from another issue that I'm still having trouble with. The longer I have this phone the more problems I'm having.

That I wasn't getting picture messages to show up right away anymore, now it seems like they have to send the same picture 2 or 3 times before it will actually download and I can view it. Wondering if there is some known issue or a fix to get it back to normal and working right again. I'm looking at one now and it just says it's downloading, never leaves that, doesn't show a picture.

Before Froyo, I was able to attach a picture to a text and if I left the message area blank, it would not convert it into a slideshow. I am not able to do that anymore. Pressing the pause button doesn't work at all, as it just turns the screen black for whatever freakin reason.
