View 1 RepliesIs there a way that you can delete the list of searched items in the Market? I seem to remember a thread to this effect, but I couldn't find it...at least for the Eris.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy search entries on the App Market are starting to mount. Anyone know how I delete some of my previous searches? These aren't causing any issues with the phone, I just wanted to tidy them up.

View 15 Replies View RelatedI'm sure there's some of you out there that will be just excited about this as I am. There's now an app called MarketHistoryEraser that will clear you Android Market searches! No, you don't have to be rooted either! I've waited so long for a way to do this without rooting and it's finally possible. I don't know how to post the QR code here but someone may want to.
View 31 Replies View RelatedIt seems as there is no way to delete previous searches in the app market. Also does any one know the name of the app that allows u 2 video chat with someone I thought it was called tango but that doesn't seem to be it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an app that was installed via Android Market. And so, the Android Market knows when new versions are out and notifies me of an update. Titanium Backup calls this the 'Market Link', not sure what else it could be called.
how would I go about 'disconnecting' the app from the Market? Deleting the market link as if it were side-loaded?
Yes, I know this means no more updates for the app etc. Which is actually what I'm after.
I'm using a SGS - DocRom V9.6 with Speedmod Kernel k13a
I'm trying to install angry birds on my Galaxy S. I've found several methods and none of them have worked. The android market does not even list the game in search results. I've tried scanning the barcode from the distributor and that doesn't work either.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI downloaded the missing sync from the market on Friday morning. I had to reset my handset because of the default settings of facebook doubled my contacts. Since setting the option of not to sync them doesn't take them away, I had to do a hard reset to get them out. I've downloaded most of my apps again, except Missing Sync. I can find it via the computer, but when I try to find it and download via either appbrain or directly from the market either I can't find it or it will not allow me to install the app with the following error - There are no matches in Android Market for the search:
pname:com markspace.missingsync
I bought a new HTC desire last week with Android 2.1 version, after upgrading to android 2.2 version there is no "Android Market" available in my phone.

View 3 Replies View RelatedEvery once in a while i find an app that I REALLY want, but cant seemt o download it off the market. I get the error message that the requested URL cannot be found.Tonight I am desperately trying to download the TaskPanel Ver X (TaskPanel X v6.6.2 Application for Android | Tools) but the barcode scanner doesnt find the address and when I type the name in the market search field, it also doesnt come up.Is there another market I dont know about?
View 5 Replies View RelatedThe title basically says it, there are a handful of apps that I can not figure out how to re-download through App Brain or directly through the Market after installing the 2.2 update.And a few others, but those are the ones I paid for and would like to have now.Are these not compatible with Froyo? Or does anyone have an explanation for why they would be showing up as not found in the Market?
View 7 Replies View RelatedThis question has been left w/o an answer before. My case: the new version has it's package name changed (domain name switch) so I obviously can't upgrade. Created a new app under the same name and uploaded the new version under it. Published it. Now, how do I delete the obsolete one? Should I file a support request somewhere?

View 3 Replies View Relatedusing Droid the market search box will bring up previous search list and it drives me nuts that I can't click on one and EDIT it before it just launches.I would prefer it would put it in the box and wait for me to hit search button, giving me a chance to correct or expand on or otherwise edit the chosen previous search text.I really wish it would act like google on the computer where the results page has your search text in a box on the page allowing you to tweak it EASILY. It is hard enough to type on this thing and ANYTHING that would eliminate retyping would be GREAT.I don't see a topic for android suggestions for general improvement (as opposed to app suggestions), so I put this in here.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI know I can search one application from Android market by viewing the following URL: market://search?q=pname:<package> I actually have a few application published, but want to limit my query to return 2 applications. How do I do that?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm looking for details (documents, posts, or even just a list) regarding what options Market supports (for ex: 'pub') to restrict or target the search.
View 3 Replies View RelatedThis link describes how to search the Android Market for apps using various parameters:

I'm having a heck of a time figuring out how to format a link for my apps published by my company using this format. For searching by developer name, the doc says to use the following format:
market://search?q=pub:<Developer Name>
It also says it returns exact matches only. My publisher name is "Polyclef Software". I guess I'm wondering why Google can't make a market search feature that searches for substrings in the publisher's name, but aside from that, how am I supposed to format the link? Neither of the following work:
market://search?q=pub:Polyclef Software market://search?q=pub:Polyclef+Software
I've tried a number of variations now and nothing works.
This seems like an odd question, but how do I search for apps on the Android Market website? I don't have an Android phone yet, but I soon will. I want to see what apps are available for the Android phones. How do I search for them (looking for SplashID and a few other from my Palm days).
View 5 Replies View RelatedTo Launch the market I usually do this:
Intent intent = new Intent( Intent.ACTION_VIEW,
Uri.parse("market://search?q=pname:com.package.package2.package3"));
startActivity(intent);
But I would like to run a search based on a keyword like "Happy Toasters". What is the URL for that kind of search?
I have tried to clear the market search history, but I can not figure out how to clear it.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI finally found a way to erase the market search history and I thought I'd share with you all. Just download the free app "History Eraser". Install, select "google apps" then clear market search histories. All nice and clean after!
View 12 Replies View RelatedHow do you improve the position of an app in Android Market search results? The apps don't seem to be sorted on downloads.
The scope of this question is limited to working with the Android Marker search engine, of which there's little or no information. I changed the title to make it clearer.
So I remember reading somewhere that in froyo, when you search in the market app, it will predict apps as you type like in itunes, but mine doesn't do this. Is there a setting for this?

View 14 Replies View RelatedI am adding a menu option in my newest application that will allow users to view all of our other applicatiosn we've published to the market place. The problem we are having is we created a second more business like developer account, but want to let users also see all of our old apps. I know how to have the search point to one developer, i.e. pub:<developer name>, but does anyone know of a way to have it search multiple? So that when they click the button all the apps from the older developer we had along with the newer business developer we created?
View 3 Replies View RelatedUsing G1, go to http://www.myspace.com. Notice the site is able to detect the user agent from the browser and provides a link to search the MySpace application on the Android Marketplace. Google's http://code.google.com/android/devel/sign-publish.html# publishing provides options to search, e.g. http://market.android.com/search?q=pname:<package>. This does not work for me.
