I tried to download CoPilot to my hero, I got as far as adding all my details and the credit card details. After I clicked the buy now button it greyed out and nothing happened. What now?? And will I be charged? I checked my bank to see if there was a payment taken but nothing so far.

After that it should automatically install on the phone but nothing is happening and I can't find a solution.I downloaded to my PC via the website as I thought it would be more reliable than through the app market.

View 16 Replies View RelatedIs anyone else experiencing problems? I'm on a HTC Desire running 2.2 stock Froyo. The only modification I've made is to manually force apps to the SD card. Since Market 2.12 was released I can download but not install anything. I can't update either, it'll download but then immediately bring up an Installation Failed notification.
I have been advised to clear the Market cache and to uninstall the new update but by the time I reload the Market after uninstalling the update, I'm back on 2.12 as it updates automatically.
Has anyone else experiencing similar problems?
Any idea if there's a fix or do I have to wait for Google to sort it out?
Is there anywhere I can report this to Google?
i saw on their site that it is available for download now, but i have the rogers locked version, so i can only see free apps in the market. has anyone used copilot yet? does anyone know how to download it on non-rooted devices?

I updated firmware to 1.5 about a month ago and I have installed apps since then with success, I just can't do it now. Argh! It's really annoying.Are there settings I can check, or change the way it downloads? I'm trying to download over secure wifi and it doesn't seem to matter if the battery's fully charged or not.

View 13 Replies View RelatedThis problem first started after installing Lock bot, ATK and Alevel. Rebooted my phone and was greeted with an X in my signal bar and all home apps and google/android apps FC. I tried to reboot and pull battery even though the battery pull from my understanding has no effect. I've seen other threads say to do a hard reset but I didn't have a back up of my phone. I uninstall the 3 apps listed and the phone booted up fine.The next day I downloaded lock bot and level whith a reboot after each and no problems. I went back to tk because i like the 1x4 task bar it has and all was well.(No i'm not blaming ATK because too many people use it successfully) Yesterday I downloaded Safe neighborhood(My creepy neighbor looks out his window and watches the kids way too much), OS Monitor after uninstalling TK, and the Swype app I found on a thread here. As soon as I rebooted I received that X again. Uninstalled the last three apps and O.K.. I have re-installed OS Monitor and swype and phone reboots fine. I didn't download safe neighborhood again because my neighbor may be a perv but now I know he's not a convicted perv. The thing I'm noticing now is that when trying to use the market the downloads take several minutes to load or don't load at all.

-= Waning! =- A folder failed to be renamed or moved.
The folder is <ANDROID_SDK>/tools. I searched for help in this group about this error and found some answers. But none of them worked for me. Looking at Process Explorer tool I found that the problem is the "java.exe" that is keeping several JAR file handles opened in that directory. Closing the handles hangs the "java.exe". What can I do? I am stuck in this step.

1. Within Eclipse, I did "Android Tools-->Export Unsigned Application Package" to save MyApplication.apk into ~/workspace/MyApplication.apk.
2. Now Connect Your G1 Phone to your computer using USB cable. You need to install Drivers for this. Download Android USB drivers from here. This driver is required for adb to interface with an android G1 phone using USB cable.
3. Go to Android Settings/SD card & phone storage and disable Use for USB storage. You can enable it again later after you installed your third-party application.
4. Go to Settings/Application settings and enable Unknown sources.
5. adb install ~/workspace/MyApplication.apk

Lately anytime I go to download a app from The Marketplace, the updated versioo of the app will download and but fail to install. I have plenty of room on my phones internal memory and I have full 3G service. Any sugestions on what could be causing this probelm.

My HBOOT Version is 2.00.002.
Just now I tried many times (even trying with different SD cards) but I failed to install Endymion V3.5 (Link below) [URL]
The problem is: When I installed, and reboot, it shows "htc" in green words with bright white background, then all black, then "htc" in green words with white background again, then it boots into 4EXT Recovery 2.2.7 RC5.
I used "wipe all partitions except SD card". Then install from SD card, choosing the correct zip file (And it also shows to me that I have successfully installed the ROM)
I then tried to use another ROM: [URL]
This one, it successfully does not boot me into Recovery, but it remains on the booting screen for more than 10 minutes, so I suspect it also failed...
I then continued to try this: [URL]
THE PROBLEM IS THE SAME AS INSTALLING ENDYMION!!
Finally, I reinstalled my old ROM: [URL]
AND IT SUCCEEDED.

Now I suspect it was the problem of Andriod version, those ROM which booted into recovery are all (though only 2) 2.3.5
Any other thing (except full wipe) I need to do or change or make sure, before installing Endymion V3.5?
(I even tried both EXT3 and EXT4. Also failed.......)

Logcat says: at.tomtasche.altitude requires unavailable shared library com.google.android.maps; failing! I developed an app with google maps before and there it works fine. And yes i have the uses-library android:name="com.google.android.maps" in the application tag of my manifest. It also works in the emulator, just my device dont install it.
mybackup restored the icons where my apps used to be but they won't download from the market. It just says starting download but never starts.
View 6 Replies View Relatedi've got a droid razr maxx running jb 4.1.2. at one point i had maxed out the storage space on both the SD card and the ~8gb of internal phone memory, so as i went to make a download i got a little error up top that said the download failed due to insufficient memory. i took care of the problem and completed the download, but ever since then that little !-in-triangle status has been up top on my status bar, always popping up atop the list of alerts that come up when i pull the top menu down. clicking on it sends me to my downloads page, so i've sorted out all of the filenames even remotely similar to that one and deleted them from the downloads page....
i can power off the phone, reboot it.... no matter what that status informing me that the download failed due to insufficient memory won't go away.....
I have the Motorola Razor Maxx on the Verizon network. Recently have received text messages I could not download. doesn't state why just "message size: 30KB" ask if I want to download or reject. When I try to download I get the same message "failed to download" is there a setting to change file sizes allowed or something else I'm missing.

What I was trying to do is put a Check Upgrade function in our program. When user clicks it, it will send request to our web server and find out what is the latest version. I use app versionName to stamp a version, something like 2010.11.23. I don't use the version code in Manifest.xml file. So our program sees the latest VersionName is later than itself, it will download the latest one, and then use the following code to install the new apk file:

Now looks like, everytime when I changed the VersionName, it will fail to install the apk file. It downloads the file fine. I don't know exactly why. Sometimes, in Eclips, when I hit debug, I got error saying "Re-installation failed due to different application signatures". I don't know if this is the same error caused the installation failed.
So, looks like my questions are:
Should that upgrade logic work? I am wondering if it has something to do with the VersoinName.
What could cause the application signature change? (I did sign our program before I put it on our server, but I always use the same key file for different versionName. )
I have a Samsung Galaxy Vibrant and all I want to do is upload my photos that I've taken. I plug in the phone in the USB and it tries to install the drivers. But each time Failed. What am I doing wrong? I've only had the phone a week. I am ready to take it back.
View 3 Replies View RelatedHad about 30 megabytes open, and did not check on Fennec size. Install failed, due to lack of space. But, now I show 249 of 261 megs used. I not sure why, if the installed failed, how any space was used. And, did not find any apps installed under Fenenc or Mozilla. Also, when I try to update other apps, the update process starts, but never completes.How can I find what did install and delete it, or regain my free space.
