I just flashed the latest version of White Widow.When I bring up the dialer and start to dial by name (i.e. 5 - 6 - 3 for JOE), the dialer does not bring up matching names. Is this a sense thing?

View 1 Replies View RelatedOk so Iv'e tried and tried and tried and tried to get the transparent theme with metamorph and i just cant do it. I can get some themes to work and the others not so much. So i went exactly by the directions and I still cant do it! Is there a way i could have it in a zip and just flash it like the others do for themes? Please help, im a huge WW fan and love this theme!

I thought it may be a good idea to get a single thread started to discuss things related to WW. Long story short, I PM'd andrizoid to get his blessing and decided to throw up a thread. View 49 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded to White Widow 3.1, and I love it except for some of the stock HTC stuff I really liked like the keyboard, dialer, and camera (the droid one sucks imo). I followed the proper steps for the keyboard (put it in the system/app folder) and it works perfectly. No such luck for the camera, and dialer. Does anyone know why? Are there any OTHER HTC apps I can use, or how to put these ones on there?
View 22 Replies View RelatedI'm running White Widow 4.6 with Google Apps installed and JIT on. Not all of my FB contacts are syncing with my phone contacts. For example, my sister is not linked to any FB profile when she should be. The names match up. Most of the people are, but some aren't. I can't find a way to link it manually to her FB profile. All of my contacts sync'd fine with the stock OS. Anybody else have this issue? Do you have a solution? I had the same problem in KaosFroyo v23 and never found a solution.

Iīve added those spinners to my layout without editing most of itīs properties and this way it works for most of my users. Unfortunately most isnīt all and then some of them started complaining that the list of options is showing text in white with over a white background! Iīd like to know if thereīs a way (or a property) so I can force those spinners to show the options list using text in black.

My husband just rooted my phone for me and I'm looking for a ROM that has the vanilla (I think that's what it's called) dialer. One of my main motivations for going root was to get rid of the awful HTC dialer. I know there are few ROMs out there that use DialerOne as a default but I'm looking for something more like the Moto Droid or the other vanilla ROMs I've seen. A few people are running WhiteWidow ROM but it looks like that one's been taken down for now.

I am specifically interested in hearing from people who have re-installed all of their apps/widgets from the original 2.1 leak. I know the phone runs snappier when its been wiped, but most bugs seem to creep in after most apps are restored. My current dialer (original 2.1 leak) is a steaming pile of fail. I used to tap my bluetooth, have my phone in my purse and say 'Call Bob Mobile' and woosh - it calls Bob on his mobile. I've tried the voice dialer that came with the phone and it can't understand a work I say even when I'm holding it right next to me. It's driving me nuts. Are there any apps that will make my bluetooth call Bob when I tap it?

However, this is the frist phone I have had where the voice recognition actually works. Google voice search is incredible. The wierd thing is though, my voice dialer doesnt work AT ALL. I thought it was maybe becuase I was running ATM, but I stopped like 2 weeks ago and it still isn't working. I mean it wont recognize anything- not even redial or open calendar.

I currently have my Google Voice settings to *always* use Google Voice, however when I call someone my actual number shows up. If you are unfamiliar with Google Voice, the Google Voice number should show up. This problems seems to be limited to my ROM which has the HTC dialer replaced by Dialer One.
