I just upgraded to White Widow 3.1, and I love it except for some of the stock HTC stuff I really liked like the keyboard, dialer, and camera (the droid one sucks imo). I followed the proper steps for the keyboard (put it in the system/app folder) and it works perfectly. No such luck for the camera, and dialer. Does anyone know why? Are there any OTHER HTC apps I can use, or how to put these ones on there?

View 11 Replies View RelatedOk so Iv'e tried and tried and tried and tried to get the transparent theme with metamorph and i just cant do it. I can get some themes to work and the others not so much. So i went exactly by the directions and I still cant do it! Is there a way i could have it in a zip and just flash it like the others do for themes? Please help, im a huge WW fan and love this theme!

View 49 Replies View RelatedI'm running White Widow 4.6 with Google Apps installed and JIT on. Not all of my FB contacts are syncing with my phone contacts. For example, my sister is not linked to any FB profile when she should be. The names match up. Most of the people are, but some aren't. I can't find a way to link it manually to her FB profile. All of my contacts sync'd fine with the stock OS. Anybody else have this issue? Do you have a solution? I had the same problem in KaosFroyo v23 and never found a solution.

Iīve added those spinners to my layout without editing most of itīs properties and this way it works for most of my users. Unfortunately most isnīt all and then some of them started complaining that the list of options is showing text in white with over a white background! Iīd like to know if thereīs a way (or a property) so I can force those spinners to show the options list using text in black.

Verizon just sent me my new Eris after mine decided to stop connecting to google. Maybe I never noticed this before, or maybe it is a defect. But, if you go to an all white screen, do you see black pixels spread out evenly like a grid on your screen?

I haven't had a problem until tonight.
I was using the stock browser on MySpace, finished what I was doing, logged out and used the back key to get back to the home screen, which I always do. I could never get back to the home screen, the farthest back it would take me was to the original MySpace login screen and I had to hit the home key to get back to the home screen.
When I now try to open the browser, it acts like it is loading, I see the status bar, which loads all the way, but other than that, the screen is completely white and stays that way - the whole screen is white and never does anything.
Could this have been caused by MySpace or maybe a browser issue that happened to occur while I was on MySpace?
I have cleared cache, cleared all data, rebooted a few times, force stopped it, killed it with advanced task manager and everything else I could think of.
I'm sure its been covered somewhere but does anyone have an explanation as to why when I open advanced task killer it tells me a bunch of apps, that I didn't open, are running? Doesn't really slow my phone down too much, just annoying... Running Eris Root KaosFroyo

View 13 Replies View RelatedHope you guys can help. Since the 2.1 update I have certain apps which appear to be opening in the background when I didn't open them. I have Advanced Task Killer, and when I go in for example it shows Messages running, when I kill it, it will reappear in 30 secs or so, the same with MP3 store. Can these apps be stopped so they don't take up memory or what's the deal here. Thanks for any help.

Google Maps & Latitude, Youtube, the Market will not load properly and will either give error messages or won't load at all. Gmail, Voice, Gtalk and the web still work. View 4 Replies View RelatedI am root using unrevoked. I made a nandroid as soon as I rooted. I have since removed a bunch of the crap-ware and I would like to try custom roms. But I cant seem to make another nandroid backup. I have tried to do it through ROM Manager and through the volumedown+power. Both take me the the white evo screen and it just sits there. I haev been patient, but 45 minutes is long enough I think. I know y'all see this stuff all the time and it gets frustrating but I really have tried to understand and to read and to search and I haven't found a fix for this.
