General :: Deletion Of Google+ Account - Picture ID Does Not Stay In Hangouts?
Apr 15, 2014I recently completely delete my google plus account attached to my email address of course. The problem is that in my Google Hangouts when I manually attach a picture ID to my texting Google im conversation , in the picture ID does not stay so with with my picture ID .

May 2, 2010My Gmail account used to automatically update on my phone as soon as I would get a message. Now it seems like I have to go in and manually click "refresh" under settings to get it to update. Can anyone tell me how to set it up so your gmail inbox will update automatically once you receive a message?

May 11, 2012Up until November 2011 I had an older model Motorola Droid X. I was able to take photos using the phone camera and those photos would automatically sync with my Google accounts and could be accessed by Google+, Blogger, etc. All was well and I was happy.
In November 2011, I fried my Droid X when I spilled Gatorade on it and it was immediately replaced with a HTC Droid Incredible 2. I just downloaded Google+ (over six months after replacement) and the photos that I take NOW, sync just fine. But the photos that I took during the last 6-months did not synch up with my Google accounts.
Is there any way to synch the photos taken during the 6-month period that I did not have Google+ installed to be included in the Instant Upload?
Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: Gmail Account Indicator No Longer Working / Fix It?
Nov 11, 2010Recently as in the past few days I have noticed that new emails aren't giving me the status update/green flashing light as SMS messages are. The only thing I've done recently is re-flashed with the BA20 update and did a restore from Titanium backup of my apps and system info. I am getting mail, but no indicator. I have the account set to check every 5 mins and send and indication.
I sent a test email to my account and went into settings, data sync and synced gmail and the the indicator worked as it immediately found my new test email. I've received several emails in the past few days though with no indication. Any thoughts?

Apr 9, 2010I have some specific questions, I have tried to read every single thread I can and considering I have only had the HTC Hero for 2 days I feel Im pretty clued up.My first concern if anybody would like to advise me..is internal memory. I have had the phone 2 days and only have 81 mb of internal memory left. I have just ordered a class 4 8G SD Card with adaptor, plus a USB reader for it....Now my question are:

Protection can be secured with a password, pin or whatever.

Sep 26, 2010I notice that my app's data on external storage (i.e. SD card) gets deleted during an "adb install -r". While this is normal for uninstall (and then afterwards install optionally to notice it), I do not understand why this is the case for reinstall (and thus for Market updates as well). I could have sworn this was not always the case.
Referring to http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/data/data-storage.html#filesExternal I am specifically using "Accessing files on external storage" on Android 2.2, but not "Saving files that should be shared" or "Saving cache files". So I am writing and reading data in "/sdcard/Android/data//files/somefolder/data". My preferences do stick.
@Commonsware: The problem is not so much with getExternalFilesDir() IMHO as I see my data is written where I expect it. It just does not stick. I am using a.o.:
