HTC EVO 4G :: Flip Between Panda Home And Sense?

I downloaded Panda so the I can use a theme it works with. It works fine and I am always giving a chance to use Panda or HTC Sense when I hit the home key. This is a pain so I opted to use the HTC Sense as default. But I can't see where it allows me to use the Panda again. I can't figure out how to get those 2 choices back. Except for deleting Panda and reinstalling it. Am I missing something? And is there a way to flip between the choices another way?

Anyone have any news or info on when Panda home will be stable for the android 2.0? I've been using 1.61 for the past two days, and I absolutely love it. But I have to keep reloading themes every 5 minutes. It has some major stability issues for me. Now that I've used it, I absolutely hate the default home.

I have installed and used Panda Home for awhile now. I have heard that you can use other home replacement apps (OpenHome and aHome) themes with Panda Home. I have downloaded a few Home themes and moved the zip file onto my sdcard. Panda Home doesnt seem to recognize them or have the ability to open them. How do I install other themes using Panda Home?

I was directed here by a VZW rep (he said this was the best place to go to get android help). I was wondering if anyone with knowledge of panda home could help me out with switching application icons on the home screen. I try to change it through the standard methods and I'm using a .png file, which I thought was the required filetype, but I get a message that says "applying..." but nothing happens. I was wondering if anyone else had any ideas. I've heard of an app called bettercut, but it seems silly to pay for an app when in theory, I already have the needed feature installed. Also, if anyone knows of where one could find a good picture for a messaging icon (to replace hand set)

I'm getting tired of Open Home's constant force closes. Would love if Panda Home would worked, but even with the new version I'm still getting the screwy scrambled screen for icons / if you change the wallpaper. Is this just my phone or are other people also still have trouble with Panda Home?

I have heard many people talk about the Panda Home app giving more than the normal 3 home pages. It may just be slow, but when I download it I still only have 3 and all that changes is the themes.

I just Downloaded Panda Home. And bought Marvel theme its ok. I was wondering which theme should i download. I know its down to personal preference but what would you suggest? I also am looking for a different Phone Lock i am bored of PATTERN LOCK. I would like a Pin Number lock Like the IPHONE. Also How can i make my own Themes. I'm Into Marvel and DC Comics

Just a minor problem that maybe I just have a setting out of wack. I have ADW launcher installed, which may or may not be an issue. But the home screen(s) won't flip to the wide screen look when the phone is rotated sideways. All the other views i.e. settings, browsers, etc do this no problem, but the home screen(s) them selves are stuck in a portrait view.

I have the giant clock/weather widget on my homescreen (the one that comes on the phone when you first get it and the one most people probably use). I have seen animations of this clock on the HTC site that show the digits flipping over. And you would think it would do that anyway based on the design. However, I noticed my doesn't really flip. The digits just change instantaneously. No flipping animation. Is this just mine or is that how it is? I was actually hoping it would flip because I always thought it looked neat.

I had Launcher pro on there , but as much as a liked it , it wasn't as snappy as id liked it too be . But now that i have gone back to sense , hitting home restarts sense reloading all of my widgets for about 20-30 sec.

Does anyone know of a ROM that is Sense based and also includes a Home Screen Rotation ability?I know that LP can do this, but I value the Sense widgets more than resorting to LP.unless every single Sense widget could be replaced for under $15 total.

when I hit the "Home" soft key, I get "complete action using "Home" or "HTC Sense"both of which take me to different home screens?What happened that this all of a sudden gives me this option?I've never seen this before and want to know what I did to get this?

I installed ADW for the first time yesterday, and I like it, but I have a question that I really need answered. Right now, each time I click to go back to Home, I get the pop-up to choose ADW or HTC Sense, and if I want it to be my default launcher. I haven't chosen either as my default because I don't know how to switch back if I get tired of one of them. Like, say I get tired of ADW. How do I switch back to HTC Sense as my default home without uninstalling ADW?Also, I miss my Digital Clock and weather widget. Are there anything other than the ADW clock and weather widget/shortcuts available?

I just installed Launcher Pro Beta, and am trying to "flavor" up my EVO. I really used the stock sense widgets that toggled 4g, wifi, BT, etc, but am unable to find them with the new home launcher. Am i unable to use the previously installed default widgets with this launcher/home? How about the default weather/clock combo, i can't seem to find a way to add it either. I liked the simple look of the Launcher Pro icons along the bottom, that's all i really wanted changed.
EDIT - Found it, will need Beautiful Widgets or something similar

I want my phone to have the capability of rotating the home screen for landscape use in my car mount. But I do not want to go to another home screen replacement app, I want to keep Sense UI.Does anyone know of a ROM that will allow for this?

I have done a little bit or searching for this but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. So if it is out there then I am sorry for the repetitive post.I just updated to 2.1, and can't figure out how to switch to the Home instead of HTC Sense Home? Anyone out there know how to do this? Before on 1.5 OS, all I had to do was hold down the "Home" button to display my most recent 6 apps, then hit the button again to pick if I wanted "Home" or "HTC Sense".Now, that does not work.

I had to delete all of my HTC SenseUI home screen customizations (wallpaper and icons) today. I accidentally caused the problem myself, though I think Sense could have been more clever about stopping me. What happened was that I saw a new notification "Ringtone App downloaded." I had not downloaded it, and my son had just been playing with the phone, so I figured he must have done it. I deleted the application, and the phone warned me that it would "reset my icon on the home screen" or something like that. I blithely said OK and deleted the thing. Then, when I went back to the home screen I got the message "The Application HTC Sense (process com.htc.launcher) has stopped unexpectedly." The only option available was "Force Close," and soon as that was pressed the message would appear again.
I was able to get out of it by following the instructions at this HTC Desire page . Now my phone is fine again, but I need to repopulate my 7 home screens.
Two questions:
(1) Why did the Notifications bar tell me this app had been downloaded? My son later said he had not done so. Could it have been an automatic update by HTC?
(2) Am I now missing some sort of Android or HTC ringtone app? I don't normally use ringtones other than the built-in ones but it would be nice to know whether I deleted a standard-issue app and how to get it back if desired.

can i run the HOME setup with all the nexus sweetness (weather/news app, maybe some icons...) and still be able to switch back to my SENSE the way I have it set up now when I want (just by going into applications and switching out the defaults between SENSE and HOME) without having to flash, reboot, etc.?

I am about to get my Hero back and was wondering if Open Home & Sense UI played nice together? Will I get to use Open Home & HTC Widgets? I have been using it on my Moment, but not sure if I even need it with my hero, just want to be able to use different icons & skins. Would I be better with Pandahome or DX?

Ive searched but I cant find it...I was using Sense UI and Slide Screen as my home replacements but i clicked on that thing that makes slide screen my main one and i cant switch from slidescreen to sense now.

Anyone know how to rearrange the home screen order? Let's say I have the friends stream widget on the second home screen to the right of the main screen. I want to move it all the way to the outer most right home screen. (3 swipes to the right) Anyway to do this?

I've found this great home replacement app called launcherpro that is wayyy faster and smoother than the sense home. I currently have this set as my default home, so I just pull up taskiller to kill off sense and free up some memory. Even though I kill sense off with taskiller I see that sense has started back up every once and awhile and was wondering both why it starts back up and whether there is a way to stop it from doing so? Also, will killing sense like this lead to any problems down the road?

Default home
HTC sence
Forgot the third
This is referring to the homescreen and the default home is what the defualt android home screen looks like and HTC sence is what i need. I clicked on the Defualt home and now my home screen looks different. How do i get that option to pop up again so I can choose HTC sence?

This is an issue I've been having. I can be in any of a number of apps, and when I hit 'home' or back out of it, 20% of the time I get the white HTC evo screen and then it will redraw as if i had rebooted.I'm currently backing up in anticipating of doing a factory reset to see if that helps, but would love to avoid the hassle if I can figure out whats causing this beforehand.

I've read that s ome have turned off Sense and have seen an improvement in performance and battery life running vanilla ANDROID.
If one uses Home Switcher does that accomplish the same thing, or is Sense still running in the background?
