I have heard many people talk about the Panda Home app giving more than the normal 3 home pages. It may just be slow, but when I download it I still only have 3 and all that changes is the themes.

I have had my Droid for about two weeks now. While searching for a new home application I accidentally downloaded the Panda home Blue Chrome theme. I have spent a couple of hours trying to delete the theme from my Droid but cannot seem to find where it was downloaded to on my phone. It is not under the application manager. Anyone had any success in deleting a theme from your home.

I have downloaded a few Home themes and moved the zip file onto my sdcard. Panda Home doesnt seem to recognize them or have the ability to open them. How do I install other themes using Panda Home?

I was wondering if anyone with knowledge of panda home could help me out with switching application icons on the home screen. I try to change it through the standard methods and I'm using a .png file, which I thought was the required filetype, but I get a message that says "applying..." but nothing happens. I was wondering if anyone else had any ideas. I've heard of an app called bettercut, but it seems silly to pay for an app when in theory, I already have the needed feature installed. Also, if anyone knows of where one could find a good picture for a messaging icon (to replace hand set)

Would love if Panda Home would worked, but even with the new version I'm still getting the screwy scrambled screen for icons / if you change the wallpaper. View 2 Replies View RelatedI downloaded Panda so the I can use a theme it works with. It works fine and I am always giving a chance to use Panda or HTC Sense when I hit the home key. This is a pain so I opted to use the HTC Sense as default. But I can't see where it allows me to use the Panda again. I can't figure out how to get those 2 choices back. Except for deleting Panda and reinstalling it. Am I missing something? And is there a way to flip between the choices another way?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been working on a replacement for the stock Car Home app for a bit, and I am completely stumped on how to override the Home button so that my app will be brought back to the foreground whenever the phone is docked. This is the way that Car Home works, so there must be a way. It seems that BroadcastReceivers won't work, because the intent that is broadcast whenever the Home button is pressed will still cause the default homescreen app to launch; I cannot prevent it. I can override the Home button from within my app, but that does me no good since this needs to work when the user is outside my app. Car Home also does not do anything weird like set itself as the default homescreen app while it's running (I checked the logcat to make sure).
I've been really beating my head against the wall on this. Does anyone have any ideas, or can you at least point me in the right direction?
I'd like to get some feedback, maybe a few mini reviews on my sweeter home theme for the Motorola droid, it's titled rasta_stormtrooper and is currently in their theme library.

I really like my Droid Incredible (Dinc), but I just noticed a minor glitch on it. When I was on the main home screen, the phone switched over to all three of the left home screens on its own (it switched to these home screens one after another). Do you know if there will be a software update that will fix this problem?

I change the color and the size of the text in the whole app. Sadly the text in the titlebar is also changed and the result is a somewhat blurry ugly style. In some of my Activities I'm using a Tabhost for my Layout. Now I get something like this as a result: My tabwidget has a black background and I'm happy with that, but the icons in the tabwidget are transparent and this leads to them showing the green background defined in my style. How can I define the tabhost as not styled and have the transparent icons show the tabwidget the resion on instead of a solid background color?
