View 21 RepliesIs Seidio 1750 Extended Battery Worth it? What do you guys think?
View 32 Replies View RelatedMy seidio 1750 seems to be thicker than my 1300 stock battery. It says eris on the back but eris/incredible on the receipt. Did I get the wrong one?
View 11 Replies View RelatedJust wondering if anyone can officially confirm if there is a perfect fit.
View 4 Replies View RelatedThe internal meter says it is due for charge long before its out of juice. Battery Left widget will give accurate voltage levels, but it too is fooled, even after proper calibration.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI want you guys' opinion to those who have it. I want a battery with more power because I use the phone mainly for web browser and I don't want want to be checking the battery every hour or changing the settings. Even changing some the settings don't give me a full day of use for me that starts at 7 and ends around 7. I haven't seen many reviews for the battery except from here. I read here that someone read that there's a gap between the volume rocker.
View 16 Replies View RelatedI have purchased the Seidio Extended life battery (2600mAh) about 1 week ago and i do not feel it is performing as expected. Here are the issues i am facing: 1.) The phone takes about 1 hour to report fully charged (similar to standard battery), but if i unplug the charger then re-insert, the battery charge is reported at 60%.When the battery reaches 100% again, i repeat the same process and this time the battery reports as 70%.This repeats until the battery is "actually" at 100%2.) The battery seems to drop charge irregularly, the first 10% is lost after a very short period of time (4 minutes on the last check!) 3.) Once the battery reports as being down to 20%, if i re-boot the phone, it then reports charge of 60% again and the process starts again.I have enclosed 2 attachments to support this information, the image file is a graph i pulled from an app called "Battery Graph", as you can see, the battery level does not drop on a smooth basis, if it was working correctly i would expect a smooth curve, not sharp drops. The second attachment is a zip file which contains an excel spreadsheet showing the full breakdown of the battery % drop during yesterday.
View 19 Replies View RelatedIf anyone has actually purchased the non slim version of the seidio extended battery on the droid, can you report your thoughts here?
1) What kind of battery life are you getting now vs before?
2) How much does the cover screw your ability to lay the phone down on a flat surface and type with any of the keyboards?
3) Is it worth the price?
Looks like the seidio is 1350mah. Lol, isnt the stock battery 1400mah? Innocell Slim Replacement Battery
View 23 Replies View Relatedseidioonline.com 2600mAh...almost double stock value.FWIW, I've had one in my Motorola Q for the past year, 2100mAh, and there is a direct correlation on mAh value and usage time compared to stock. So if mAh is 2x higher than stock, it will last 2x as long, under same conditions. I did a mock-up of what it would be like with the "extended battery door", which is pretty close to what is pictures, and it felt easier to type using the hard keyboard.
View 49 Replies View RelatedIt's $23 on Amazon, and $30 on Seidio's website, so I ordered from Amazon. Only thing is it says the estimated shipping is 2-3 weeks. Anyone else order from Amazon? Did it really take THAT long?

View 15 Replies View RelatedI've been happy with my Seidio case so far, but this is the second top that I have had that won't stay on after a couple of months. I am three weeks out of warranty now and they refused to replace the top. I like my case, but I will never buy a Seidio again. What good is a case if the top doesn't stay on after 4 months? I hope the otterbox case i try next will be better.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo, I don't know where the thread went, but I know we where all pissed off a out only getting a 1500mAh battery, but according to Seidio its a 1750mAh, which is a huge update from a 1300mAh, me thinks.
Not that I've figured out how to get 12 hours out of my Eris Moderate-Heavy use, but this should only make things better. I think the 3500mAh is a bit ridiculous.
Let this be the thread to discuss these add on batteries, and either their positive or negative effects on your life.
Assuming that the Nexus One or anything like it is not coming to VZ anytime soon, I'm happily ordering one of these and ready to roll on with my Eris http://www.seidioonline.com/product-p/basi17hhrv.htm
I currently have the leather snap on case that VZW sells, the little plastic clips that snap it on break way too easily so I am looking at higher quality cases and especially the Seidio and Otterbox cases. The Otterbox case looks higher quality IMO and also probably more protective. I just want to be sure that the plastic clips will not break and let the case fall off every 5 minutes. Any opinions would be helpful.
View 38 Replies View RelatedSo far I have been quite unhappy with my Seidio Innocase for my droid. I have the Sapphire blue case, but have gone through about 5 of them through RMA's. My top half of the case always seems to progresively get looser and looser has time goes on. They have shipped me brand new cases that are supposed to fit better then the old ones. They always start off nice and tight, but slowly get looser and looser. Anyone else having trouble with this? Im tempted now to completely return it all together because RMA's are a real pain.So anyone have any suggestions for a different case that they love for their phone? I have tried the plastic hard shells from Verizon but those were terrible, other then that I am open to suggestions.
View 16 Replies View RelatedThe newest case for the HTC Evo 4G, out exclusively on Amazon.com.Amazon.com: Seidio Innocase Active Case for HTC EVO 4G - Limited Edition: Cell Phones & Service. You will not find this on Seidio's site! It's a two-part, rugged case. I have confirmed with Seidio that it is made by them and sold exclusively on Amazon. Looks very very cool and I can see how some people will prefer this over the thinner Seidio's Innocase II Surface.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI know, another thread about the HTC EVO Innocase. But as I was looking for a better deal and someone that took Paypal payments I found this. And it is the best deal I found. If you preorder them it is free shipping also. $39.99 for the combo case/hoster, or $23.99 for the innocase only. That is with free shipping again for the preorder. Pretty good deal.
View 25 Replies View RelatedMy Seidio Innocase and the Zagg shield saved my droid today. I made a boneheaded move and left the droid on my car bumper and shut the hatch. There's very little space there. Phone got jammed in. The screen had a big line across it. I thought it was cracked but it was just dirt. The innocase now has a dent on each end...it clearly saved the phone.
View 6 Replies View Related"Given that I am in the process of switching from my Sprint HTC Hero over to a Verizon HTC DROID Eris I have been paying more attention lately to accessories for the Eris, one of which was extended batteries. Personally I am not really sure that I need one, but at the same time, a little extra juice is always a welcomed option for a smartphone especially when you are a heavy user. That said, it seems that Seidio has two options available, a 1750mAh and a 3500mAh which are selling for $49.95 and $69.95 respectively. The main difference here, aside from the 3500 offering more juice (and being more expensive) is that the 1750 model was designed to fit with the original battery cover. And that means no extra thickness. The 3500mAh battery on the other hand will add some extra thickness, though its said to only be 3-4mm. The nice part here is that this battery does come with the replacement back cover.
View 47 Replies View RelatedMany of us have experienced some battery life fall out since the last update. I mentioned this in the battery life thread but I thought it deserved it own topic. I have an app that I downloaded called battery status. it has a battery history. and it says time without sleeping 7h 10m 25s ago. Thats exactally when I unplugged my phone. This explains why I am seeing 2-3% per hour loss while not using the phone and while in airplane mode. Before the update I could keep the phone in airplane mode, not usre it, and leave work with over 94% battery life. So this proves that somehow the phone is not going into sleep mode... I can guarantee that everyone else in that is experiencing battery drain since the sept 16th update is due to this reason. The question is... why the hell is this happening and why won't the phone go into sleep mode?
View 8 Replies View RelatedOn my Vibrant I have both the standard "green battery" icon in my taskbar, as well as a downloaded battery percentage icon. I've noticed that the standard icon does a really poor job tracking the actual battery percentage. For example, the percentage will show 35%, but the icon will still appear two-thirds green.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a sprint GNex. I just started having this problem recently (but before the 4.3 update). I plug my phone in overnight and at some point in the middle of the night an error occurs that make the phone think it is off the charger and has a fully depleted battery. The battery level icon shows no charge and if I pull the phone off the charger it immediately says it has to shut down due to a low battery. However, as soon as I turn it back on it is back to normal with a full charge.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've noticed that Google maps is always taking up a big portion of the battery in the battery menu. If I freeze it with titanium would that make a significant difference? I use it seldom enough to go thru the trouble of unfreezing it when needed if it's worth it..

View 37 Replies View RelatedRooted Droid 1, running LFY 1.9 with it's 1ghz kernel, SPRecovery. Had a weird issue recently; the phone displayed that my battery life was at 40%, then probably ~30 minutes later it was down to 20%. I wasn't using it during that time, I just unlocked the screen to check something. Anyway, I opened my browser and within a minute or two I got the "15% battery life remaining" message, prompting me to connect my charger. I decided I would allow the phone to just die and shut itself down. So I waited ~45 minutes and it went down to 10%, then almost immediately to 5%. I turned on the GPS just to make it drain faster... I watched a one-hour television show and when it was over, I glanced over to the phone to see if it had died - nope, still on. I turned the LED light on, leaving the GPS running for ~25 minutes and it finally powered down. Then I plugged it in to charge and left the room. Came back in about 2.5 hours later and picked up the phone - it was very hot. Unlocked the screen and checked SetCPU and it was running ~135?F but it immediately started cooling down. It was fully charged, however so I unplugged it. I went to bed shortly thereafter and the battery life displayed 90% as I set the alarm to wake me up the next morning. I happened to wake up shortly before the alarm was set to go off and I picked up the phone to disable the alarm and noticed the red 'charge me' light blinking - unlocked the screen to see 5% and just then it powered itself down.
TL;DR -- Phone only got hot that one time, phone hasn't gone dead in stand-by mode again like it did that night. Battery drains at a seemingly normal rate based on my regular use from 100% down to 40%, then it rapidly drains after that, always skipping 30% and when it gets down to 5% it stays alive for quite a long time under heavy load. Is there a way to 'teach' the phone how to check and calculate actual and remaining battery % and to display it correctly? Is it kernel-related? I heard somewhere about doing a 'battery wipe' but I am unsure what that entails and searches are proving fruitless for me so far.

I deleted a few of the last apps I installed but it could be an update, wish it was easier to solve, but now Media is my number one battery usage, even after I uninstalled a couple new apps.
