I'm not complaining or anything but on thee iphone all u do is doubler click the home burton and it comes up too change the song. I know u can hold down the home buttom and drag down the bar on top bar but that takes u to the music app which is kinda annoying. Is there a way o get it like the iphones?

I am rather new to android. I have the Samsung Galaxy Note II (AT&T), and i have not rooted it or put any custom ROMs or whatever onto it. i have been using the music player app that came with the device. (not the google play one that looks like headphones, the app that i use is a blue and white circle with a blue play symbol in the middle and a green musical note on the right side. just for reference) i just added a playlist, expecting the songs to be in the order that they were when i made the playlist in Kies. however, they were actually in alphabetical order and had numbers next to them (01, for example). i would like to be able to change the order somehow, or sync it so that the songs appear in the order they are in on kies.
View 1 Replies View Relatedi have a nexus 5, i listen new music on my car using that phone, i would like to have an app that turns on the screen with the name of the artist-song im listening to.. for example if im listening to rancid-time bomb, i want the screen to tell me that for about 5 or 10 seconds.. then if another song starts then the screen should turn on and tell me that im listening to other artist other song. do you know an app or xposed module that allows to do this? are you an app developer than dares to create this kind of app?

View 4 Replies View RelatedOut of all the things I expected the Droid to do, I never expected the Droid to not utilize this feature. I'm talking about when your playing music and you put the phone in your pocket and press down on the volume controls to change the song. The BlackBerrys have this and I don't understand why the Droid doesn't. It's so annoying taking it out of the pocket, going through the home screen just to change a song.

When i clicked on the MUSIC button i noticed a few pre-loaded songs and i could move from one song to another by slidding my finger across the screen. When i downloaded my own songs(and deleted the pre-loaded ones) the phone just wouldn't move from one song to another by slidding my finger across the screen. And about the wifi. I use the POWER CONTROL widget. When i pressed the button for wifi, it started connecting and the green line under the button appeared and a few moments later(2 sec) also that sign on top of the screen. But i wanted to remove my google account so i had to use the option FACTORY DATA RESET. Now when i click that wifi button it starts connecting and that green line under the button appears, however now it takes 5 seconds or more for that sign on top of the screen to appear(before that sign appears i can't use my wifi connection).

Is there anyway to change the song (as in skip it to the next) on Pandora when the screen is locked? I've been hooking my Ally up to an AUX port in my car and wanted to know if there was an easy way to keep changing the songs while on the road because I lock my screen with a touchcode and find it a big bother to keep having to turn my phone back on to change the song.
I have a Image button which doubles as a play and stop button. I need the image in the button to change when the user click on it the first time, so that it now looks like a stop button. But this won't happen till the thread completes playing the song.

I got my wife a G2 to replace her iPhone 5c about 6 weeks ago. I shut off imessage and she had been getting texts from iPhone users just fine until a week ago. All of the sudden people worth iPhones were not able to send her texts anymore because they were going as imessages. These are people who had been successfully texting her for over a month after the switch.

The I phone has better games i.e. Iron-man, you can easily download movies to it through I tunes, it has the big hitters in the comic industry DC and Marvel the list just goes on and on. View 1 Replies View RelatedI can send mms to my friends on at&t that DON'T have iphones, they get them just fine. however, EVERYONE I've tried to send an mms to that has an iphone, it never gets through. this is using chomp for the most part, but I've also tried it with the stock messaging app (the girl i sent the message to using the stock messaging app got it once, but I've tried it at least 100 times over the past few days trying to figure out the issue.and she's gotten a message ONCE).regular SMS texts go through fine, and i can receive from iphones just fine.

incredible mms to at&t non-iphone --> works fine . incredible mms to at&t iphone --> does not work
at&t iphone mms to incredible --> works fine . at&t non-iphone mms to incredible --> works fine
anyone else seeing this?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an htc evo and I am not able to send video mms to iphone users. I tried changing the quality of my videos to the lowest setting to see if that would work. It doesn't. The videos I would try sending would be less than 10 seconds long. The message I would receive is "The receiving service provider for xxx-xxx-xxxx has a size limit for picture/video. Your message may not be received." A few of the individuals say that they are able to receive video messages and have no issues. What gives?

They are all in a group chat together and the problem is, when my girlfriend receives messages as part of the group chat, she has to actually download them as if they were picture messages. That obviously uses up a lot of data and it gets very frustrating after a while. So how can she get her phone to receive messages normally just like every other recipient in the group chat does, so that she doesn't have to download all of them which not only is very tedious, but highly data-consuming.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just bought a Galaxy S3 this morning (first Android phone ever!) and for some reason, I haven't been able to send/receive any pictures to/from any of my friends who has an iPhone. I went into At&t earlier tonight and several people without iPhones sent me pictures and received pictures from me with no problems, but everyone with an iPhone couldn't receive my pictures. The techs there told me to try and use the lowest camera resolution and I was able to get one picture to send but still wasn't able to receive any pictures.

1) Comes through multiple times (this happens with AT&T iPhones)
Or
2) Comes through chopped up into individual messages that are also displayed out of order (usually from Verizon iPhones)

Has anybody been able to successfully send a video via text to an iPhone? I have tried six different users (two being mine and my wifes 3gs') and not one successful attempt. I also cannot send text using most of the secondary characters on the number/symbol keyboard, such as the degree symbol. If there are any of the secondary characters, the recipient gets nothing on their end. It's like I never sent it.
View 10 Replies View RelatedOn iPhones the notification is center of the screen in a big graphic. On my LG2 all I get is some tiny icon in the notification bar. Also on teh iPhone the lock screen wakes up to show the voicemail prompt/graphic. On the LG2 teh screen is still dark. So unless I turn on my lock screen, I never know I have a v-mail.
