I have lot of bookmarks on my computer and would like them all on the Browser on my phone, any browser (Default, Dolphin, Opera, etc. anything) is fine. Is there a way to import them automatically somehow from computer to the mobile browsers, other than just manually typing everyone.

I'm looking for a way to transfer all my phone's bookmarks (probably like 50 of them) to my computer. The only way that I've been able to find out how to do it is to physically email them to myself one by one. I would prefer not to have to do that. Does anyone know where the links are stored on the phone or know of a way to do what i'm looking for? I know google chrome can transfer chrome to phone but i was hoping for the other way around. Hopefully in bulk and not one by one. any ideas?

I'm new to Android,but I've had smartphones.I've had an iphone and win mobile phones. I'm not sure I'm understanding how to import video to the droid. I tried just making a folder on the sd card and pasting a video(mp4) in it, but the droid doesn't recognize it.Then i used Motorola media link, it worked, but the picture quality didn't seem as sharp on the droid than it did on the iphone(didn't compress it when i transferred) and can't seem to figure out how to expand video to fill screen.

However the bookmarks within the Bookmarks Application launched from the browser's menu are sortable. Is there any way to make these two independent bookmarks list sync with one another. View 7 Replies View RelatedNot too sure whats going on here. just got the Evo and ditched the iPhone. pretty happy so far, of course. i have a friend online who gives me pointers and we are stumped. i have my gmail account setup and working properly. but my Bookmarks are not syncing up. IE: there is a flikr shortcut there and i don't use Flikr. Cnn, Yahoo, Etc all show up and i dont use them. I have google chrome, the newest version and chose to sync bookmarks. but why isnt it going onto the Evo?

Sync basically allows you to share your bookmarks on any computer running Google Chrome, simply by configuring Chrome to use your Gmail account. I love this because I have two computers at home, and one at work, and can access all the same bookmarks from any of the computers.
My question is, is anyone aware of a method or application that would allow me to access these synced Google bookmarks through my Android phone? I am using an HTC Desire with Froyo (Cyanogenmod 6.0). I use the Dolphin HD browser, and am aware of options of importing my bookmarks manually, however I prefer to keep my bookmarks organized into folders and not just displayed as one long list. If nothing already exists, I may just get scripty and server up a website that would display all of my Chrome bookmarks in the browser.

its got all the other features i'd like to use: answer calls from my PC, make calls from pc (from , for example, the outlook contactlist), call Log capability; but i have to pick up my phone when i probably can just hear it through my headphone (connected to PC)

I have used sync to backup my phone numbers onto my computer but they are appearing in the windows contacts as just the phone numbers but no names.
