Is there an app to backup and export a listing of all the apps, bookmarks, and widgets currently on your phone? I see many apps that will search though all the current installed apps, for sorting, or organizing, but then it would be good to export this list to e-mail or Google Docs, etc.

Is there a good program to backup your all your apps, files, shortcuts, bookmarks and personal settings. I know Astro has a "backup" function but I don't know what it actually backs up. I know you can back up your contacts Google.
I guess what I'm asking is if there's a way to "clone" your Droid, not just the SD card.
Do any backup apps restore your phones icon and widgets. I don' want to have to re setup all the apps I have so I want something (if there is something) that can restore a phone to the way it was home screen and all.

I used to have the full screen Music App, the Photo App, Bookmarks, and Contacts taking up some of the sense screens. Now I have 3 blank screens in LP that I want to fill up.
Do you guys know of any full screen Apps/Widgets for Music, Photos, Bookmarks, and Contacts?
As of yesterday, apps in my downloads section are missing. Last one I updated was mytracks (says I updated google maps well its the last on the list)And instead of having there 20-30 apps I have there 5.Apps that are missing arent the ones that I moved to SD.And I cant attach them to market CUZ they are attached. Installed. When I search for them in the market. It says installed and I can even update. I just dotn see them in the download section..Now I thought it might be something cuz I changed markets via market access to be able to download payed apps. But which sim I try , the same few apps (all after clear cache and force stop ofc) pop up.

When I first started publishing Android apps as an indie developer, I posted my phone number on the app's submission page, thinking it would not be listed publicly. When I found out that it was, I removed the number from the app listing. I don't have the resources to handle phone support, and much prefer to handle support via email. Besides, there is no requirement that we provide phone support, as long as we provide support in some way, correct? Anyway, these days I'm getting fewer phone calls, but I'm still getting calls. We are required to list a phone number in our developer profile, but it is stated that this is used for Google to contact us directly in case there are issues. So where are users still getting my phone number, and how can I make sure it's not listed?

I see that on the phone there is an option to do Auto backup to the SD card, which I have just ticked. My question on is is that..how long does it take to backup, and when does this happen? As I have had no messages to tell me if this is working.

If you can install flash on the Vibrant, and anyone tell me how, or direct me to a link that says how? Secondly, there's one thing that has really been irking me about the media player. The interface when the media player is vertical works great for me, but if the player goes horizontal the interface switches from a track listing to an album listing (looks like a bunch of CDs all in a row). Is there a way to disable album listing you get when the phone is horizontally? It's really annoying to pick up my media player to change the track, and have it switch to album mode and back again because I jostled it enough to make it think it was laid on its side. This is especially annoying while running on a treadmill - the back and forth motion makes it switch between modes every single time I pick it up. If anyone knows of a way to turn off the horizontal album mode, or at the very least a way to make it manually activated only, that would help me out.

Now that i'm going to use an Android smart-device, I know that I have to re-purchase all the apps I had purchased on my iPhone. i'm just concerned about the bookmarks I have on my current iPhone apps, particularly the ones I have in my LDOCE app (Longman Dictionary of contemporary English). View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen i click on batch, then run to backup my apps it jumps back to the Backup/Restore screen with all the apps, nothing gets backed up. I have backed up before with Titanium and it worked. I reinstalled Busybox, didn't help. If i uninstall and reinstall will i lose all the things i did like freeze apps etc ? When i try to update through the marketplace it says installation error, package file was not signed correctly.
