I'd have to do it manually, but I have a lot of bookmarks and want to keep them all and do it quickly.... isn't there an easy way to move bookmarks?

I have a folder in Chrome which holds my mobile-friendly bookmarks. How can I move (or copy) this folder's contents into ICS browser's "local bookmarks"?
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy phone worries me, I have an LG Vortex and it's about two years old and it's starting to malfunction, so I figure its time for a new phone. The only thing preventing me from purchasing a new phone is that I need to keep my messages and switch it to a new phone. Can I just take it to Verizon, or maybe RadioShack, and ask them to do this, I know they can move contacts over, don't know about messages... Or is there an app that I can do this with, or something online, or anything. I'll pay for it if necessary, it's just very important I keep my current messages. !

I have an HTC Evo 4g with a 16gb sd card. I went from an 8gb to 16gb and my phone will not let me move any more apps to the sd card. Its currently using 7.2 gbs, only half full.

I want to know if I can move the backup folder from my phone to my PC (due to the complete erase that'll happen eventually), and then move it back. Will my phone recognize the backup as long as I use the same app to restore and have TWRP installed?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI got my GS3 yesterday, and i am trying to move all the pictures (and videos) from my skyrocket over to it. on the skyrocket i had them stored on the internal sd card, and i want to do the same on the gs3. i have tried numerous things so far such as moving them to the computer then to the new device, as wel as copying them to the external sd, putting that in the gs3 and copying them to the internal sd from there. my problem every time is that whatever i do, changes the date of the pictures on the new phone to all say the time that they were copied, rather then when they were actually taken and it puts all the videos before the pictures; basically my whole gallery is just out of whack.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an Orange UK branded HTC Desire HD running stock firmware & NOT rooted. Since the fairly recent 2.3.5 update with Sense 3.0 I have found that I am regularly seeing Sense restart upon exiting an app and returning to the home screen. This is not related to a particular app, as it can happen when returning to home from ANY app. My wife is seeing the same behaviour on hers too.
Having posted on both HTC's & Orange's Facebook pages, I have been advised in no uncertain terms that as a first step I should perform a factory reset.
This is something that I have not done since I got my DHD (my 1st Android - plenty of hard resets on WM ). I have had a bit of a tidy up - clearing unnecessary data, uninstalling apps I don't use, etc. Pretty much ready to reset (but aware that there is SOME data that I will lose). However, there is one thing that I am unsure about...
I have previously moved a number of apps to the SD card. If I leave them there, will the existing data be recognised upon reinstalling the apps? Or will it cause me problems? Or will the existing data just be orphaned? I.e. should I move all apps back to the phone before performing the reset?
Just installed the latest update to LPP with the swipe gestures. Its brilliant, it really is. My question is simple really, and I'm sure Ive read a solution somewhere before, but here goes... On the bookmarks swipe gesture, which brings up your bookmarks, how do I make my Dolphin HD bookmarks show, instead of the generic browsers??? In other words, can I import bookmarks from Dolphin to the LPP bookmarks?

Looks like the bookmarks within the Bookmarks Widget are posted in the order that you surf and are NOT subject to any type of sorting. However the bookmarks within the Bookmarks Application launched from the browser's menu are sortable. Is there any way to make these two independent bookmarks list sync with one another. I know there's an application out there to manually sort the widget's bookmarks but I want them sync and match.

View 7 Replies View RelatedNot too sure whats going on here. just got the Evo and ditched the iPhone. pretty happy so far, of course. i have a friend online who gives me pointers and we are stumped. i have my gmail account setup and working properly. but my Bookmarks are not syncing up. IE: there is a flikr shortcut there and i don't use Flikr. Cnn, Yahoo, Etc all show up and i dont use them. I have google chrome, the newest version and chose to sync bookmarks. but why isnt it going onto the Evo?
