dolphin browser seems to be causing some problems with my bookmarks,the phone wants to use the regular browsers bookmarks for the htc bookmark widget, which i dont use,only dolphin, so how can i make the phone recognize dolphins bookmarks?i have already made dolphin my default browser also.

My PS3 and my smart tv pickup my windows computer over wifi enabling me to show pictures music and videos on it. Im assuming this is a windows feature that allows it to show up like that. Is there any type of app that can fake the tv I to thinking my phone is a wi dows media?

And after I reading the mediascanner sourcecode I think if I want to make the AAC file can be recognized in the music player I should to add following code to mediafile.java:

mediascanner.jave sourcecode, we can see if the aac file is only be regarded as a only aac file not the mp4 single audio. I think the mediascanner.jave should not be modified. But after I modified the mediaFile.java , then I opened the music player the aac file also cannot be seen.

I've tried with both the 1.5 SDK and the 1.6 SDK. I have tried all the suggestions in the aforementioned thread. I can mount the device just fine, but adb does not work whether it is mounted or not. I've tried it both as root and as myself and with it in $PATH as well as using. In the dir. Adb appears to "work" as it tells me "List of devices attached". At some point right after I installed 1.5, I remember setting something up to make the USB connection easier, but I don't remember what that was. My hypothesis at this point is that is somehow interfering, but any help you can give either way would be much appreciated.

I can use ADB shell, but Smart phone flash tool does not recognize phone, MTK droid tool recognizes it, but I can't backup it.
When i put files on my SD card. Android doesn't see the files right away. Most of the time after a couple of boots. This is really irritating me. I unmount the device but still no files. Does someone have the answer for this?

I previously had a Galaxy S2 which I could connect to my Cooper via USB and it would read my music, playlists and podcasts and play them on the car speakers. About a year ago it stopped doing that and I thought it was b/c the phone was so old. I eventually upgraded to Galaxy S5 now in April, and the car still will not recognize the phone, read my music, playlist and podcasts. I took it to dealership but they say it's an Android problem. we bought the new Infiniti and I have the same problem. Before I try to take the Infiniti back to the dealer. I have no issues with the Bluetooth picking up the phone's functions and making calls, but cannot get the audio system to recognize or read my files and play them.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThis morning I started seeing errors about the SD card not being available. I checked under setting and sure enough it wasn't available. It worked perfectly yesterday. The first thing I thought of was that the card went bad since I bought a 16GB one off eBay. So I shut down and replaced the SD card with the 8GB one it came with. No change. The phone just doesn't recognize an SD card anymore.

Sync basically allows you to share your bookmarks on any computer running Google Chrome, simply by configuring Chrome to use your Gmail account. I love this because I have two computers at home, and one at work, and can access all the same bookmarks from any of the computers.
My question is, is anyone aware of a method or application that would allow me to access these synced Google bookmarks through my Android phone? I am using an HTC Desire with Froyo (Cyanogenmod 6.0). I use the Dolphin HD browser, and am aware of options of importing my bookmarks manually, however I prefer to keep my bookmarks organized into folders and not just displayed as one long list. If nothing already exists, I may just get scripty and server up a website that would display all of my Chrome bookmarks in the browser.
I just purchased the Fascinate and I love it. I'm trying to transfer my music and photos from the vcast application on my computer to the phone. I loaded the application on my computer and searched for the music and pics. That worked fine. When I plug in the phone, the computer doesn't see the phone. USB issue.

Windows Vista (32-bit) and Windows 7 (64-bit) can't recognize the phone when connected through the USB. Got a message says the USB Device/Hardware Is Not Recognized. I'm using the SGS original cable. The cable was working perfectly and now suddenly it doesn't work in data mode but still able to recharge the phone battery. Am I having a cable problem? View 2 Replies View Relatedi have a kyocera hydro. i took my 8gb sd card from my old phone, deleted a few things from it that i didnt see a use in having on there (don't ask me what exactly, i dont remember now), and tried to simply put my pictures and music back onto the sd card to have in the hydro.
the folders listed on the card are as follows: .android_secure, Android, fastnote, LOST.DIR, and smvvm. the phone wont recognize my photos or music. i tried putting the music files in numerous places on the card to see if they'd be found, to no avail. i'm not sure if i deleted something i need on there, if i can get that back if that's the case.
I'm playing Simcity Deluxe on my HTC Desire HD. The app isn't officially compatible with the phone so I'm getting a bug where it recognizes my phone as a tablet and displays the tablet UI instead of the phone UI, which makes the buttons much smaller and more difficult to tap.
Is there a way to force the app to recognize my phone as a phone?
