I have read through all the threads and tried the different suggestions but I am still unable to download apps. My husband and I switched phones so we did the factory reset and it hasn't worked since. Any ideas?

After upgrading my Moment to 2.1, I can no longer download apps from Android Market. I can select to download an app, it says starting download, then quickly indicates "download unsuccessful." Prior to my upgrade it was working fine. All my account info is as it was before and has properly synced etc.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI am unable to download any application from samsung apps, when I open samsung apps it shows all software and all navigation works well but when I try to download anything the waiting circle comes and it stuck at waiting circle forever and then I have to exit samsung apps.
I tried uninstalling samsung apps by root uninstaller and then installing it back again from apk , I tried clear data/cache many times, I tried updating samsung apps too.Although google play is working fine.
Device - Samsung galaxy note 1 , 4,1.2 Rooted.
I have been using the Sprint HTC hero for a few months now and love it.so my wife decided she wanted to try out an Android phone but could not live with out the physical keyboard.Anyway, I was wondering if I could get some help with what to do first. Are there any major fixes I need to do or apps I need to download like with the Hero?I did read about draining the battery all the way and then charging it back all the way.

I'm going to head to the nearest Sprint store, & attempt to exchange it.My question is will I have to re-download all my apps, or are they stored on the memory card?

When I go to the android market and look at the help front page there is a link called "Download Issues Troubleshooting page". View 9 Replies View RelatedMy wife recently got a SGS and we have just tried to download Kies so that she can put some music etc on it (she has a 16GB microsd card in it). However, when we try and install Kies it gets to the installation phase and then at the stage where it prompts you what to install, I selected "instal all" and then it thinks about it and comes back a minute later with a message "unable to connect to file server".Is this a common problem people have had? We are running Windows 7 64 bit, so I dont know if there is a compatability issue? If we cant get Kies to download (and I called their support line and of course no-one answers) is there another way to get data onto the phone and external card? Will I need to buy some kind of adaptor so that I can connect the microsd card and just treat it as any external hard drive?

I tried to find it listed in the list for ringtones to no avail. I've also checked a couple of different options but the phone is set to the voice announcement by default. Please help. I've tried rebooting the phone, unplugging/replugging the usb from the computer and phone, debugging mode on/off on the phone, and clearing all of the device entries from the Windows registry. The error in event viewer shows: Event id 11: The driver detected a controller error on DeviceHarddisk2DR27. Error I get is 'please insert a disk into removable drive (drive letter)'

Sorry if this has already been discussed but I did a search and couldn't find anything. Anyway, I just checked my email on my Moment and downloaded an attachment. When I tried to open it an error message popped up saying "out of memory". I have plenty of memory left on both my sd card and internal memory so I am stumped as to what "memory" the message is referring to.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded to a rooted 2.1 system and all worked well for about a week, including use of the Market. But now I can't download anything from the Market at this point. I've tried every solution I've seen on this and other forums, but nothing has solved the issue. I've tried rebooting through recovery, pulling out the battery, starting Google Talk (apparently that helps with other phones), checked the 'okay to download third-party apps/unknown sources' mark in settings, and cleared the cache out of every application. I've uninstalled every application I've downloaded in the last 3-4 days.
However, I can't find the Market app to clear the cache - would seem like if I cleared the cache from the Market app, that might do the trick. I remember seeing it as an manageable app in 1.5, but it's not showing in 2.1.
Is the Market app in 2.1 hidden somehow? I've used Root Explorer, ASTRO and the stock apps manager but none show the Market program as an application.
Also, are there other suggestions I haven't tried?
The reason it's an issue right now is because I removed the mms.apk program (moved it to the SD card, but it won't re-install -- tried ASTRO and Root Explorer) and was using Handsent SMS exclusively for texting. But Handsent had some problems so I uninstalled it and was about to re-install it but now I can't successfully download anything from the Market. So, I have no texting ability right now.
Simple question really, I'd like to replace my wall paper and the ones with the phone are not to my liking. What are your favorites or do you know of any Android ready, Moment sized, wall paper website galleries that I can browse?

Well, after 2 calls to customers care I am still getting the same error. I have full internet access, data capability and even setup my gmail account as the email to use. I can send and receive email/sms/mms, calls, etc... Anyone else have something for me to try before returning the phone to Sprint? (it was purchased at BB).
