View 1 RepliesIs there a battery with larger capacity (it came with 930mAh) for X10 mini pro?
It is marked as BST38. Is that a more standard battery, or one that only SE uses and manufactures?
I bought an extended battery on ebay and I want to test how much mah it actually has. Is there an app that tests battery capacity specifically the mah? It wouldn't be that hard for an app to test. Just monitor how much gets used and how much gets put back into the battery. If there isn't an app is there another way I can test the capacity of this battery? I have a lipo battery charger if that could work.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI found a way to find the actual battery charge while messing around on the phone. I turned off the phone and then pressed the "send + center + end" combination to get into the diagnostics console. From there you can scroll down to the battery info and in there you can see how much charge is really left. For some reason the OS can't read from this and reports incorrect battery life.

View 2 Replies View RelatedLost tunes? The stock Music app on my Motorola Droid running Android 2.0.1 was able to play ~200MB of .wma files which it found automagically. I was initially impressed that no configuration was required. After I uploaded more .wma files (I have 7.4GB of them now) neither the stock Music app nor several independent apps can see any of them. This is true even if I use settings to narrow the world to one album's worth of music.
Have I overloaded the capacity of the android's music API? Is my Droid allergic to music ripped by Zune? I may have to remove albums one by one and keep trying the player to see if there is a bad file, deep directory tree or special character that is bombing it out.
Got a quick question, does anyone know what there built in internal storage capacity was before downloading any apps or when the phone was bone stock. Just got mine and is only say 6.30 gb free and I know it is supposed to be 8 gb. I know actual storage formatted is less Just wondering if yours is the same.

View 4 Replies View RelatedSomething is way wrong with the battery meter on the EVO. Is it programmed to only recognized the stock battery? I saw this because when i received my 3500seidio i ran it down, then gassed it up to full(unplug, charge, unplug, charge again ect) Then i even erased the battery stats in recovery
So the meter seemed to be accurate as I drained it again just to see how long the battery would last (got about 10 hours of hard usage, 4G wide open, wifi off, to drain battery). So then i got to charging it back up: In about 32min its at 50%, which i know impossible. Then about 38 more minutes later, it says 100% full (basically 3500mah got charged in lil over an hour?) . Of course too good to be true so i disconnected the charger and 30 seconds later it dropped down to 80% !!!! My point being, if im not there to see it hit 100%(which is when the phone will not charge anymore even tho its on the charger and will use the battery to power phone right?) then I will never be able to get a full charge. LIke why cant the meter simply tell me exactly how much juice is left in the battery? I had the sedio 2600mah for my Pre and next had a meeter problem. This EVO meter is OC! I mean why do i have to let it charge to 100, then disconnect, and keep reconnecting to get it to be a real 100? thats ridicoulous. I thought we would only have to recondition the phone once. I cant do this everything. Somethiing needs to be done
It seems like the only way i can get it to fully charge without the multiple charge, unplug, charge is to turn the phone off, and let it charge for a couple hours or whatever. When it turns green its at like 97% which is good. Because its a true 97 and wont drop down immediately to 80 or something
I was one of those with a "bad" battery. I had the automatic 10% loss of the battery after about 20 minutes of the phone being on. I would barely use my phone during the day (check text messages and email 5 or 6 times and maybe 1 15 minute phone call, and 10-15 minutes of internet browsing) and have the battery down to 20-25% by the time i got home after an 8 hr workday. So I called verizon, explained the problem and they sent me a new stock dinc battery in 2 days. I will say that that when I first got my phone months (as a pre-order), I played with it before fully charging the battery. So maybe I am at fault for making a "bad" battery. No chances this time around. This time i cut the phone off, put the new battery in, and let it charge for a solid 8 hours. All I have to say is WOW. Now i know what it is like to be one of you guys who say "what battery problems?" I worked my 8 hr day, used the phone the same as I usually do and I still have 85% battery left. I never lost that intial 10% of the bat either. I don't know if not charging my battery properly the first time hurt my first battery or if I just had a bad one. But for all of you who get a new dinc, charge the battery right the first time is my advice.
