HTC EVO 4G : No Sound In Videos / How To Fix?
Aug 15, 2010Just realized this problem. When i play back videos taken with the evo's camera, there is no sound. anyone else having this problem and know of a way to fix it?

HTC Incredible :: No Sound On Videos
May 1, 2010Alright i just got the Incredible and i love it! However whenever i try to play videos that i are on my sd card taken by my old phone there isnt any sound. Is anyone else having this issue or know how to fix it.

Jan 6, 2010I loaded about 4 gigs worth of videos (About 160 different clips) onto my 8 gig SD card. When I try to play a video, the video freezes after about 1-2 seconds, but the sound keeps playing. Is there any way to solve this? There's just over 3 gigs of free space on the card.

Nov 17, 2010I'm using myPlayer to download videos to watch during my commute. Even though the myPlayer app recommends arcMedia to play the downloaded videos, I've found that the default Videos app works just fine, and is a bit better thanks to the Dolby Mobile sound.
However... after downloading the video to the phone, the video takes an age to show up in the Videos app's list. I can usually prod the app into re-scanning the SD card for videos my unmounting and remounting the card, but that's a bit of a pain. Does anyone know of a way of just getting the Videos app to have another look for new files?
(I know, it's not a major hassle to remount the SD card, but I'm an ex-iPhone guy and used to the 'it just works' way of doing things...

Oct 3, 2010My HTC Desire seems to have stopped singing the "tik tik" sound (the sound when you clicked on any program).
In Settings -> Sound Settings -> Feedback
I have them all checked, but for some odd reason, I still didn't get the sound.

May 20, 2013I am currently an iPhone 4s user and really like the way that the switch toggles between no sound (vibrate) and sound. I leave me phone in vibrate mode for most of the day and in the evening I tend to switch it to sound so I can hear the alerts from around my house when I don't have the phone with me. I am thinking about switching to an android device (S4 or HTC One) and have a few friends that haven't been able to duplicate the behavior of the iPhone. They get sound with vibration or some other weird combinations that wont work for me. Is this a limitation of the OS or is it device specific? I basically want everything to vibrate (Ringer, SMS, Email) with the option of changing everything to sound, no combinations of the two. I also need to distinguish between types of messages by using different vibration patterns.

Nov 10, 2010My Evo wont play any videos, i've tried through crackle, tru tv app, sprint tv, you tube, on and on and on. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the apps, and updating profiles and software. I am real close to throwing a $200 phone against the wall! (breathe) Has anyone else had this problem? And do you know of any fixes for it? On Sprint TV, i get an error message saying This channell is not currently available. On other sites/apps, I get an error saying only that this video can not be played.

I tried to figure out why through hours of researching and different video players, but I got nothing. The site is Welcome to CrossFit: Forging Elite Fitness and I can't seem to get 90% of the .wmv videos working at all. Sometimes some of them work and I can't figure out why. I thought it was the frame rate because the occasional lower quality one (non-widescreen) work fine. Most are high quality and these are the ones I want to play. I can successfully convert them, but I want to view them right from the web with no adjusting.
