All of my sound for media and videos ect comes out of my earpeice, not speaker.... I don't understand..... I have a feeling that i has to do with the installed vonage app, which I did uninstall. Headphones will work fine but.... is there anyway to solve this problem?

My Xperia X10 play the ringing sound in external speakers and headphones when I have the headset connected. The same happens when I use headphones and car navigation, the sound coming out of the external speaker and headset simultaneously. If I use Bluetooth or regular headphones, the experience is the same.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI got my new AT&T Xperia X10 last week. For the first couple of days, all seemed well. On Saturday, I lost effective wi-fi. In settings is indicates that I am connected to my witeless access point, but when I try to access the internet, I am told that there is no connection. Also, at about the same time, I haven't been able to turn on bluetooth. In settings again, I select turn on bluetooth. Then it goes off for a while, and times-out. This cycle repeats itself continuously as lonk as I hit the OK button.

I'm from Indonesia and using Xperia X10 SIM Free version that bought from Hongkong with the newest firmware.
I was living in Japan and used Xperia there without any issues, but yesterday, after I arrived at Indonesia, changed to Indonesia's SIM Card and done the SIM Card activation progress, my phone started to act strangely.
If I insert the Indonesia's SIM Card and turn on the phone, my phone will automatically shut down after the Sony Ericsson's logo appeared.
And if I just turned it on without any SIM Card inserted, it will look fine but, at sometime, like when I was confirming the setting, the phone will also shut down suddenly.
Please tell me if anyone has the idea how to solve this issue.
Vodafone replaced by x10 xperia due to a fault and the replacement wont switch on with my Micro SD card i took out of my old phone in it. It will however, switch on with it not inserted. Has all my numbers etc on it...any suggestions ?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI tried to update the phone by connecting it to computer thru PC companion and followed the instructions till the time it asks to disconnect the phone from computer remove battery for 5 secs and turn on again.
Now at this step the phone is not turning on and whenever i press the power key, red notification light is blinking 3 times and nothing else is happening.
I have problems updating the toy.
Pc companion don't want to "install or start the updating components" as it says in a little message box hitting up.
i have tried several times but nothing changed.
When i take photo on X10 mini its too blurred

So yesterday I was able to update my x10 to 2.1, everything has worked perfectly. The only problem that i have is that when I close the "Backup and restore" app (I already restored all my data) using "task manager", the phone blocks the SIM card and I have to introduce the PIN again.

So now I bow to someone else's superior knowledge, where the heck do you store them? Tried Video, Media, getting desperate DCIM file and just plain old root of the SD card.I know 3rd party apps can find them... got MixZing and it found it no problem from the video file.

I can watch them back on my phone, however, when I open MediaGo, they are not on the "video clips" area but instead are in the "other files" area. Fine, however, when I try to play them, I get the following message "The file does not appear to be supported.
If you would like Media Go to attempt to play it, right click the file and choose re-scan". I do the "re-scan" but alas, am met with the same message when trying to play the video file? It seems strange that I captured the video on my x10, can play it on my x10, however, MediaGo for some reason doesn't support it?
Okay, so when I use the you tube app on just about every other phone, there is sometimes a button at the corner of a video to let me upgrade to the high quality version of the vid. This does not happen when I use the app on the X10. Do I just need to do an upgrade, or is this some bizare thing that the x10 just doesn't do?
