Android : Can't Hear Any Sound When I Watch Videos At Twitvid.com
Jun 29, 2010Whenever I got to twitvid.com to watch a video I can't hear the sound. & yes I did check to see if the sound was on. Does anyone know why?

Android :: Cannot Play Videos In Emulator / Can Hear Music But No Image
Jan 21, 2010Spent the whole day on this and still cannot find a solution for this. Here's my short code:

holder = v.getHolder(); player = MediaPlayer.create(this, R.raw.psa);
player.setScreenOnWhilePlaying(true); player.setDisplay(holder);

The video itself is in raw directory. When the application starts I can hear the video's sound but no image is displayed. I've tried using 1.5, 2.0 and 2.1, same thing. I've tried this with different videos, tried converting them using ffmpegX and "Videora Android Converter", nothing helps.

Jul 13, 2010Ok so me and my girlfriend both got evo's and the first couple times i used qik it worked fine. but now for some reason if she calls me (via qik video chat) i cant hear any sound from her but she hears me fine. but if i call her she doesn't get sound and i hear her fine!?! wtf? also while on the video chat one phone will have the microphone icon being displayed on bottom corner and other phone wont. is there something i can do to fix? is it an issue with phone or the qik app itself? just in case, it IS the version that is for the EVO on both phones

Jun 19, 2010I just bought my Motorola Droid on Tuesday. Took it back on Thursday. People said I sounded muted, muffled, or in a tunnel. They gave me a brand new Droid and it is doing the same thing. When I am using my bluetooth, my fiancé can hear me perfectly. I love the Droid and this seems to be the only issue.

Jul 16, 2010I cant watch any videos on the internet with my evo. It sometimes loads like 30 seconds of video and then it says cant connect server, other times it just sits at the black screen with the loading bar circle and then after a while it says cant connect to server.
Has anybody else had this same problem?

Jul 15, 2010Using the Facebook app, some music artists post videos of concert footage etc. When I click on the video to watch it, my Incredible will ask me if I want to use Internet or YouTube to watch it. Unfortunately neither works for me.
When I choose Internet, YouTube's website pops up with the video and a play button. When I click the play button it does nothing. When I choose to open it via the YouTube app, I get an error saying that it can't play the file.
Is there a way to watch embedded YouTube videos that people post on Facebook via the app?

Nov 9, 2009Last night I was driving home listening to MP3's on my droid and with the phone sitting speaker up I could hear the music just fine...nice and loud.
Today, none of my sound is audible unless it is extremely quiet in in the room or I'm holding the speaker right to my ear (I didn't hear my alarm this morning either )
All the sound setting are at max. Anyone else having this issue or know how I can get my sound to go up again?
