I recently noticed that my visual voicemail app is gone. All I had removed were a few of the dumb sprint stock apps. Does anyone have an idea what I killed that would cause this or how to fix it?

I am running the XtrRom 3.0 and seem to have lost my vzw and can't get it back. I have the gmail and stuff so I did the extra downloads from the zip files but can't find it in the market.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo, I had I think a free version or something of Visual voicemail before on myBB. Of course thatjust transferred over to my Eris when I got it last Dec. But, that voicemail service would alway send texts when I recieved a new VM and it got annoying so I turned off the notifications. When I did, I just stored the voicemails # to dial in my contacts. Unfortunately I must have done it as a phone contact rather than google because when I reset my phone the number was gone. therefore I have no way of checking my voicemail... any ideas?

Is it true visual voicemail where you can select which message you want to hear first and play them in order of priority or is it an email visual voicemail where you actually read the voicemail as a text. It end ups costing me quite alot (0.102 a minute and theres a minimum charge, so even if i have a 30 second call it'll still charge me 10.2p). A quick search pulled up some of the same questions, but I had a hard time finding any answers.
I'm using Advanced Task Killer. Every time I open it, it shows "Voicemail". It lets me kill it but when I close ATK and reopen it, Voicemail is back.
Running 2.1 ATK would keep all my task nice and dead until I needed them. Any ideas?

I remember getting an automated call from Verizon that they were altering their voicemail system, but now I don't know how to check it. Where do we go to set this up and create our 4 digit pin, etc?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI used my dad's upgrade to get the Evo on launch day. Bought it on his line and transferred it to mine. Now whenever he calls me, instead of saying "Firstname Lastname", it says "Voicemail".
Obviously my voicemail is not calling me. His number still shows up on the incoming call screen.
Same thing happens when I call him. It says I'm calling my voicemail.
My ACTUAL voicemail works just fine.

I had it turned off on AT&T so my callers would hear ME tell them i wasn't available, and then a beep. No canned instructions.

So I didn't set up my voicemail yet, but the phone has been doing it for me, I guess. My previous voice mails and my 9 year old OGA have all been deleted. When I use the "Visual" voice mail, which btw, is hardly visual, it's more like photo voice mail. No visual text to read. The only two options I have are speaker or earpiece. Bluetooth does not work! When holding it to my ear to listen in private, the phones sensors never pick up the fact that the phone is near my face, and the screen stays active. Touch your face with it, and who knows what function you activate. And the audio quality is bad. You know who it is, but the sampling rate, or codec they use is low quality and you get a tinny buzzing sound constantly while the vm is being played back. Am I using this wrong, or is this just an Epic Fail on the part of the software?

When I switched over, I noticed that the Incredible had a VVM app native to HTC, and I have been using that app. However, the $2.99 service is still on my VZW account which started when I was using the Storm. If I'm not using VZW's VVM app, do I need to pay the $2.99 a month to get VVM using HTC's app?

View 4 Replies View RelatedReceived a voicemail on my orange hero yesterday, so dragged the icon down from the top left of screen to activate the voicemail which it did as advertised. Once the phone connected to orange voicemail, the little green android appeared on the screen as normal due to the fact that a call was in progress. I was then given the normal options by the voicemail recorded message, PRESS 1 FOR ect. So here's my question! how the hell do you access the keypad to make the options? Iv'e tried every option I can think of! It appears that you can't do anything if the phone is in a call.

It displays a notification stating that voicemail activities have been received, but I can see that it hasn't updated since September 7th. It is not downloading my new VMs. If I call *86, I can get them just fine.
