HTC EVO 4G :: Installed Fresh .3 / Back Camera Shows Pink White Fuzziness
Jun 29, 2010I installed fresh .3 now my front camera works but but rear camera just shows like a pink white noise type fuzziness anyone heard of or seen this?

HTC Incredible :: How To Replace Pink Screen To White?
Jul 11, 2010My Incredible has been exhibiting some annoying problems, but the one that really irked me was the VERY pink screen when it was dimmed to a lower brightness setting. I got a very nice tier 2 rep who said he'd put me on the list for a replacement, but I would not receive it until mid august.Yesterday, my neighbor came over with a box; said that FedEx gave it to him since I was not home to sign. It was another inc! It was just the bare phone, and in the "certified replacement" packaging.No pink hue, no sound quality issues. I'm happy. I just found it strange that these things are on heavy backorder, and I somehow got one immediately.

Aug 11, 2010I was taking videos on my Dinc when all of a sudden the screen started to flash pink static. The screen is completely pink, flashing, and you can't see anything through it. The only cure is to do a battery pull. I've tried everything else but a factory reset. Has anyone else had this issue and has anyone figured out a way to fix it? This is now a daily occurrence and it is very annoying because I use my camera quite a bit and have to pull the battery every time to use the camera again.

Jul 29, 2010I seem to have the pink spot issue in the center of my photos. I don't see it in all of them, seems to be more in grey days or shooting concrete. The center of the image seems soft or out of focus. Here is an example (You can see how the center of the image is pinkish and out of focus)

I did some searching and see this was an issue with some HTC phones, but it didn't seem to show up in search for the EVO. Has anyone had this issue? Is there a fix for it? I am in the 30 day trial and would like to know before I commit to keeping this device.
Sprint HTC Hero :: Camera View Is With Pink Screen And No Visibility
May 26, 2010Not sure what happened exactly but the camera view is now a pink screen with no visibility. Phone is not modded so I doubt it's something I did. Is this the result of water damage maybe? Everything else is working fine and the water indicator hasn't changed.

When we use a default camera application the photos are fine. May 20, 2010i installed the newest fresh kitchen and downloaded the fresh 2.1.1 rom. i ran the tests and all of it passed, then i went to the rooter tab and clicked the root button (with no options ticked).i think it rooted my phone cuz my phone went to the green screen and i chose reboot phone.so is my phone rooted now?

Aug 4, 2010I've noticed after I have rooted and installed the newest Fresh rom I have problems getting my alarm to shut off in the morning. It's not a huge problem, just an annoyance. I have not installed vanilla lock screen, I did search the forums which states if you use that you have to use vanilla clock. I literally have to shut off the alarm every morning by shutting down the phone. Sometimes I do get lucky and it shuts off (after about 1-2 minutes) and then I have to disable the alarm and re-enable it or it will snooze.

Sep 4, 2010So I rooted a little while back & have only been having problems. For whatever reason, the only rom I can get to work is Fresh 2.3. I've tried installing CM1, the nightlies, both the blue & vanilla themed version, and darchroid 2.8. I couldn't even get CM1 and darchroid 2.8 to get past the white htc screen. Is there any way I can get back to stock 2.1 and unroot? I'm hoping if I do that and try rooting again then maybe things will work. Also, is there any way to delete all the bloatware on fresh 2.3? I love the performance of the rom but I can't deal with how little memory it leaves me.

Aug 5, 2010When at the home screen and then moving two screens to the right I get to what looks to be some type of image player in the middle and it has the Media Share, Blockbuster, Camcorder, and Gallery at the bottom.
While playing around with the camera I just took some random photos of junk and have since deleted them. But now in the middle of the screen I still see what seems to be the last image I took. Yet the file isn't actually on the phone or card. The round button in the middle (with the square around the 'play' icon) is selected but red (when I touch it it turns green and used to scroll through the photos before I deleted them).
How do I get this ugly blurry test image out of this screen and back to the way it was before?

Jan 4, 2010I rooted my Droid yesterday and installed the 2.1 rom. I am not happy with the lack of keyboard backlighting and it seems quite buggy to me. I want to know how to go back to 2.0.1 Do I just replace the file in my nandroid folder with my original backup? One other thing I am wondering is, will having my phone rooted mess up any ota updates of 2.1 that Verizon releases?

Jul 28, 2010Installed the new leaked froyo and now my camera does not work. Both Pic and video app come up but the screen is black. Also my internal 8gb of storage says "Unavailable". I tried formatting the storage a few times and reboot each time and nothing.
I had root my Dinc the old way so I unrooted back to stock, installed the first OTA, then rooted using the Unprovoked tool then installed the 2.2 zip file. Every step went exactly as the videos showed. Can anyone help me?

Oct 2, 2010I finally took the leap and installed a custom rom (Defrost 4.9). Before I did, I took a full android backup and a full Titanium backup.I suspect I missed something, but I can't seem to get my SMS messages back.Would anyone have any suggestions? It's not the end of the world if I have to restore the android backup to recover them, but I would rather not obviously.

Apr 15, 2010I gave the update a chance, for something like a week. Finally put Panda back. I had hoped that the update might make it worth it.
I have no idea what the update was really supposed to do in terms of performance but it's been a zero sum game. I don't give a flaming politician about live wallpaper or exploding gallery icons.
I like Panda's pull-outs that go across all desktops and the alphabetical pull-up. The stock phone is really lacking in terms of app organization. Photo organization too.

May 6, 2010I downloaded the 2.1 zip to sd card, and cleaned all off of sd card, EXCEPT the zip file. Put the other 1.5 files on another sd card Installed 2.1, no issues at all. Runs great. Do I need to put those misc files back on, or are they included in 2.1.
