I installed 2.1 on my phone last night and everything looks great EXCEPT the calendar. It now has a black background with white lettering and red bars where appointments are entered. Is there any way to get back to a standard white background?

I have an app which uses 3 different spinners to allow users to choose from some options. Iīve added those spinners to my layout without editing most of itīs properties and this way it works for most of my users. Unfortunately most isnīt all and then some of them started complaining that the list of options is showing text in white with over a white background! Iīd like to know if thereīs a way (or a property) so I can force those spinners to show the options list using text in black.

I have only tested this indoors so excuse me but does anyone know if GeoTagging works well with the moment out of the box? This is big thing for me - why I am not really sure - but it is.

I cannot redo the update because it loses connection with it after the 2nd powercycle in the update. Is there a way to fix this?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have had my Android since February, and finding a calendar that works for me has been a big problem - so, I decided to join this forum.My problems are two-fold.
1 - I have a Samsung Moment, and the calendar is black with white letters. It is VERY hard to read. Is there a way to change the color?
2 - Entering events takes so long that I usually just write an appointment on a piece of paper and enter it through Outlook later.
Is there an app that anybody can think of that allows a user to enter an event just by touching the screen and typing? Like Palm or even Outlook allows? That is so easy. I've tried IRT Calendar, Jorte, and various widgets, but nothing makes entering events easier. They all fix my first problem - they make it easier to read.. I can't stand the process of adding "new event", then selecting the date, time, naming the event, etc.
Anyone know how to change the standard font size on the email program which is standard? While were at it, can a signature be added with that program?
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to run the app Neocore my moment screen gets all black and white and the only thing that shows up are squares, I can't even see a picture of any kind. I don't know what else to do and also when I run the game raging thunder I get maybe 5 fps to the game. Can someone explain to me what is going on? Is it possible that my hardware on the phone is defective or maybe the update I got from samsung for the 2.1 is not gonna work with it?

I've learned through the forums that turning off Background Data on the Momemt saves battery life. I've done that. I've also left the Auto Sync button checked (Gmail, Calendar, Contacts). However, my email never comes unless I physically go into Gmail and press refresh. I don't get it. While I love the many features of this phone, I am really missing my Blackeberry . Any suggestions, or is this just the way it is?

I have my background in the phone set to what I like... and I like that i see it/them when using the normal swipe unlock. they are not always what you would call appropriate. I already have and use the "LockPattern OnOff" app for situations like work where i don't want anyone getting into my phone, but it still shows my backgrounds there as well.... which could be a bit of an issue depending on who picks it up.. Is there any way anyone knows of to have the background different for the pattern lock screen but not change the normal lock screen?

Why would that have happened? Can i get it back to a white background?
Also, my browser is all wack. I can't sign in to yahoo....things aren't loading properly, Facebook isn't working, it's all very slow....Is this connected to the update?And another question: I just attached my USB cord for the first time, but my computer (macbook) is not detecting the phone.
They're kinda hard to see but if you're as picky as me you should be able to see em in white background only. Anyone else notice that?

The default progress wheel on Android doesn't display well when the background is white, it's barely visible. How can I fix this?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm developing a game for android, and texture problem has been reported on Motorola Droid phones. (Missing/white background in the menu and during the game).
I've tried to fix this with changing the texture sizes to power of 2 (I used jpeg images as backgrounds, and they wasn't power of 2, however this worked fine on all my test devices).
How do you open the back of a samsung moment? I need to get my sd card out, so I can plug it in to the adapter and into my computer. Also: sometimes my moment freezes up, and I need to get to the battery as well to take it out and plug it back in.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm using a ListView with a transparent background. It works fine in Android 1.5 & 1.6, but in Android 2.0 and later, the ListView background turns white while scrolling. I want it to stay transparent, just like in 1.5 & 1.6.

I just traded my Palm Pre for a Samsung Moment today (made the deal off of Craigs List). The phone worked great all afternoon after I got it but 30 minutes ago I pulled it out to enter something into my calendar and it was off. I tried to turn it on but it seems dead.The battery has at least 40% remaining last time I looked and it is charging right now just in case. Anybody else have this happen? Is there some special way to turn this on that I don't know about? I held down the hang up button to turn it on and it is not working.Any ideas? (The Sprint rep at the store where I swapped with the other person said the warranty sticks to where ever the ESID is active - meaning on my account so I do have the warranty for it).

Google did my contacts, but not my text. I see my text in my gmail, but how do I put them back on my phone, as well as my apps. I went to the market and downloaded Astro as b4, and I went to my sdcard and to the folder named backup, but what's next?

I was running joey's rom and now I'm running ultimate dream's rom I think it's called. Whenever I try to flash it with the updater it just hangs and in the progress bar it just says ready.
