HTC Hero : Phone Number Backup With Names From Phone Onto Computer?

I have used sync to backup my phone numbers onto my computer but they are appearing in the windows contacts as just the phone numbers but no names.
Is tehre any program i can use to backup my phone numbers with names from my phone onto my computer?

Sep 30, 2010When i click on batch, then run to backup my apps it jumps back to the Backup/Restore screen with all the apps, nothing gets backed up. I have backed up before with Titanium and it worked. I reinstalled Busybox, didn't help. If i uninstall and reinstall will i lose all the things i did like freeze apps etc ? When i try to update through the marketplace it says installation error, package file was not signed correctly.

Jul 14, 2010I have not rooted my phone, and need to back everything up as I have a new phone coming (original had battery issues HTC and Radio Shack willing to address). Once I get new phone, _then_ I will finally root my phone and go forward. In the meantime, no point in rooting this one to install backup software, as I'll lose my data anyways. So, given that limitation, what can I backup? I would love to backup my mail account settings, for example.

Jun 11, 2012I'd like to know if there's a way to use Titanium Backup to preform a backup and then transfer those backups to my computer ?
I know this may sound simple but am under the impression that when you make a backup of your ROM and other files on your device, it has to stay on the device.
When making a NANDROID backup, is it safer and more useful if one can store those backups on one's computer ?
Am sure there's a way to do this but am not sure if there's already an app for it.
