View 3 RepliesLately, it seems that batch restore is broken again on Titanium Backup 4.8. Did a reflash of my friend's phone and using the bath restore function, it wouldn't restore anything and the loading bar would load forever. Restore each app one by one didn't work as well. It was broken in 4.7.X as well for me.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am trying to batch restore all of my apps and it gets to about 4% and the phone restarts. I can not figure out why it is doing this. I have used it many many times before and never had had this problem. Though I know it did start when I loaded up CM6 and it also did the same thing. I am now back too BB .04 and it is doing the same thing. I assume it is some corrupted file somewhere?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a new Galaxy Note running ICS, successfully rooted and with Titanium Backup installed.
TB opens fine and appears to be in order, but I have no "Batch" command. I've read support pages and watched YouTube videos; the option simply isn't in the menu as it should be.
When i click on batch, then run to backup my apps it jumps back to the Backup/Restore screen with all the apps, nothing gets backed up. I have backed up before with Titanium and it worked. I reinstalled Busybox, didn't help. If i uninstall and reinstall will i lose all the things i did like freeze apps etc ? When i try to update through the marketplace it says installation error, package file was not signed correctly.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have 73 visual voicemails on my Evo right now. If I backup the stock voicemail program with Titanium Backup will I be able to restore them all after wiping all data and/or installing a different ROM (as well as Sprint VVM)? If not, is there another way to backup the downloaded voicemails on the phone, i.e. not emailing them to myself?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've got TB pro, so i did a batch backup and decided before i flash any new roms again, that TB is working.Backing up completes fine. But it won't restore apps.I updated to the latest TB pro, cleared my data and set app processing mode to AUTO, Indirect.

View 2 Replies View RelatedFor some reason, using the batch backup (apps + data) in Titanium is causing a reboot every time. Under the "problems?" tab it talks about Busy Box being an issue and so I installed a know good Busy Box.. which got me farther along than the first 2 attempts, but still.. it rebooted again.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having problem with my Atrix to boot and before attempting a more drastic solution I would like to make a backup of my app and data.
I'm normally accessing via ADB, I can see the files on Android Commander.
Is there any way to backup the same way as it does for Titanium Backup then restore the data?
I use a stock ROM, version 2.3.6, and my bootloader is locked ('ll only unlock when finished warranty)
I've created a backup called "app +data (easy import)". Now I can't find any option to restore an app from this backup. Not from dropbox nor from a titanium backup folder. Titanium does not see this file and says there is no backup for that app. So how to restore an app from this kind of backup??
View 3 Replies View RelatedI backed up all the system and user apps before installing the custom ROM CynaogenMod 10. I restored the user apps and it worked fine. Then I tried restoring the system apps and I had to choose to restore from either XML or system image. I chose system image, rebooted and the phone kept restarting. I then tried using the XML file to restore system files. Again the same problem; the phone kept restarting.
Out of the backed up system files, the most important one for me is the contacts. Is there any way I can restore only the contacts. I have the following files in the backup folder pertaining to contacts.
1) com.android.providers.contacts-1.properties
2) com.android.providers.contacts-1.tar.gz
3) com.android.providers.contacts-1.odex.gz
4) com.android.providers.contacts-1.apk.gz
there was an app on Play Store (can't remember the name) that allowed you to restore apps and data from backup created by "Titanium Backup".
Now I tried searching on Play Store "Backup", "Titanium", etc but I can't find it.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've noticed whenever I use a new ROM and restore from a update.zip (with all apps, data..etc) there are a few problems...
1) Applications restore correctly, but Accounts, Wi-Fi Access points...etc do not... I have to boot into the ROM and restore them via TitaniumBackup.
2) Restored applications work, but some don't start on Launch like Whatsapp, Viber, Facebook, Facebook Messenger but applications like Dropbox, Skype (autorunner), GMail, Yahoo Mail do and every single one of these apps has been ran once manually. If I used Xposed and "Bootmanager" I can visually see that they should run on launch as it says they are going to however they don't. The only way I can get them to run at launch is to uninstal the application and reinstall it manually (thus losing my data for the app, as restoring the data only doesn't work).
I've a problem that is recurrent in the Galaxy S forum... and maybe somewhere else!
When I do a backup with TB, it goes fine.
Then I flash a new rom, restore with TB. When app is restored, everything's fine, but when I restore data, every app is force closing... This is really annoying if I want to get back my apps settings...
The ROM that I use on my phone pretty much discourages dirty flashing updates [CM10.1 based]. So for the last 10 or so updates, I have clean wiped my HTC Rezound, then restored from a TitaniumBackup.
First I disabled compression of backups.
Then to restore I go to /sdcard/TitaniumBackup/ and run a bash command:
# for i in *.apk; do pm install "$i"; done
Then I go to TitaniumBackup, and every app is installed but doesn't have my data. So then I batch restore my data for my apps [Pretty much only user apps, except a few system things like SMS, WiFi networks]. But the problem is, recently, TitaniumBackup will quit halfway through a batch restore of "Data only." So I've been manually restoring data 1 by 1 for the apps that I need data to be saved across rom updates.
But then I thought, "Hey, why can't I just backup my /data/data/ folder?" but then I also thought that would probably be like a dirty flash.
Just was wondering, after updating a rom, or titanium backup restore of all your apps. Seems that they dont get set in the play store to "auto update", so usually I have to wind up doing it 1 by 1. Was there a way to mass set the auto update on all my apps? Cause the Play Store Settings, while set to auto update for new apps. Only will be applied on apps installed from play store, not from a restore from backup.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI downloaded TB and backed up a few apps I plan to un install eventually. Before I did it though, I wanted to make sure I understood how to restore something in case I have problems. So I went to the TB folder on my SD Card and found where the backups were, but they are not saved as .apk files so how do you restore e-install them? I open the TB app and clicked on the backup e store button, but didn't see anything about restoring. All I see is buttons for backup, freeze and un install. Am I missing something obvious?
View 12 Replies View RelatedI backed up all my apps and user data just fine with it. I just installed a new rom and Restored all the data and it went fine, but I was curious about one thing.
I have 110 apps on my phone, not sure if thats a lot or not, but its a PITA sitting there and hitting "Install" then "Done" 90 times. Is there a way to have it just restore without asking? I understand this is easier than trying to download and install them all over again.
When I try to recover my apps using Titanium Backup's "Extract from Nandroid" feature, it says "Could not find any data in this TWRP backup"
The files in my TWRP backup folder are
data.ext4.win000
data.ext4.win001
data.ext4.win002
md5 for the above
recover.log
I'd like to know if there's a way to use Titanium Backup to preform a backup and then transfer those backups to my computer ?
I know this may sound simple but am under the impression that when you make a backup of your ROM and other files on your device, it has to stay on the device.
When making a NANDROID backup, is it safer and more useful if one can store those backups on one's computer ?
Am sure there's a way to do this but am not sure if there's already an app for it.
In the guide it is recommended we do a Titanium Backup, now that I come to restore a number of Apps/Functions won't come back but are ther in TB, do I have to buy the donate version to restore all my apps/Functions eg. FM Radio MMS etc.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have titanium backup pro. I want to know can I backup only apps data? I mean when titanium backup pro performs backing up are there any option to excludes apk file backup and only backup apps data?
I think it's useless backup apk files, I can download them from Google play store.
I'm currently using Nikez Lente's ICS rom 1.0.1a9 and what is the system app name for the phone's homescreen where all my apps, widgets are currently stored. I'm a bit of a flash freak so every now and then I drag my at least 40-50 apps one by one.
View 6 Replies View Relatedhow can do a backup of data usage on ics with titanium backup? because if I change roms with full wipe I lost all saved data.
View 2 Replies View RelatedHow come there are certain apps that will not allow me to restore even though I have a valid backup for it. For example I have the HTC_IME with a valid backup but when I click in within TB my only option is to delete the backup file, no restore available. There are other apps like that as well.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAs the topic states. Is it really worth it for the donation functionality? I've seen conflicting reports on whether restoring stuff from TiBu causes issues or not.
At the moment, the only feature I find would be highly useful is the App freezing since I want to compare ADW and LP without having to have both running at the same time.
