HTC EVO 4G :: Get Stock Android Launcher Back On Phone?
Jul 3, 2010Is there any way to get the stock android launcher back on the evo? I know about ADW and LauncherPro but those just aren't cutting it for me. What should I do?

Nov 8, 2010I am using Myn's Warm TwoPointTwo and I want the original launcher (Rounded with phone in the middle) for the phone. Is there a way to do that? is there and apk for that? or is there a way to get all the stock widgets to work with Launcher Pro.

And I seem to remember a way to switch back to the default launcher if I set Launcher Pro as my default but I can't find it in the settings menu.

Jun 27, 2010I downloaded Launcher Pro a few days ago and am loving it. As most of you know that after downloading it, pressing the home button gives you the option of which home screen launcher that you want to..well.. launch..either HTC Sense or Launcher Pro. Well this morning I picked Launcher Pro, but accidently clicked the "don't ask me this again" box before that, so now I'm stuck on Launcher Pro and can't get back to my, or any, HTC Sense launcher. I've gone all through my settings and can't figure it out. I'd like to either get back to my old HTC Sense home screen, get to the DEFAULT HTC Sense homescreen, or get back to being able to have the option to pick which one I want to launch.

Jun 22, 2010I tried flashing stock back on my phone on two different cpu's and two different roms. I was running joey's rom and now I'm running ultimate dream's rom I think it's called. Whenever I try to flash it with the updater it just hangs and in the progress bar it just says ready. Any suggestions?

May 10, 2010I've changed my Moto Droid to the Droid Incredible, I will miss and keep Moto Droid in my heart. (It also made me realize iPhone was just a platonic relationship). I'm selling it off to offset cost. It's already deactivated, I've been trying to use the Rom Manager to download a stock image but it keeps failing, apparently it doesn't want to use Wifi (tried in airplane mode too). Even then the version it downloads is rooted. I'd like to reset/wipe the phone down to 2.1 or 2.0.1 and a way to make sure OTA will work when it gets activated. How can I do this?

Jun 19, 2010Well my Droid quit charging, the only time I can get it to charge is when I hold the charger into my phone at a certain angle, same thing I gotta do when I flash sbf with rsd lite onto my Droid. I'm gonna miss this thing. But hopefully, with warranty, I'll have a brand new one in my pocket by this evening. What's funny about it is, I'm planning on getting the Droid x when it comes out. Aug 1, 2010I like the stock android launcher in Froyo, so since it isnt included i found the APK for it on XDA. It installed fine and everything but when i click the phone icon it says "this application is not installed on your device" or whatever. I'm assuming its looking for the stock froyo phone app. Anyone know of an APK out there for this, or any other way to fix this? I'd like to use that launcher but its kind of pointless if the phone button doesn't work.

Oct 10, 2013Why isn't there any modded version of trebuchet? On any CM rom with 68 ram or less device, another third party launcher consumes 50 mb ram which is just a waste where there is a stock launcher. SO why using third party like Nova or apex? Well Trebuchet doesnt offer even basic customization? LIke changing icon, app drawer grid,unread notifications etc etc.
I dont know why CM team doesnt update it. Its the same since god knows how long. Or as a matter of fact, no dev has worked ont hat who are working with CM roms!
