Aug 30, 2010I just received my Xperia mini and I'd like to change the keyboard to "landscape keyboard". The user manual says that I have to change the settings to auto rotate for the keypad to function in landscape. I've done this but I still don't have it.

Nov 26, 2010I just got my Droid 2 today, and I have a few questions to ask with one notable one.
Most importantly, is it possible to change the virtual keyboard into an ABC style instead of the traditional QWERTY? I'm not sure which I would stick with in the end, but I would like to try out another orientation.
Wi-fi drains the battery, right? I have horrible phone service at my house(home for the holidays) but at school the service is great, should I bother using Wi-Fi regularly?
Also is it possible to have the screen wake up when it is touched? The lock screen seems a bit unnecesary considering that there is already a lock button, so it would be nice to disable one or the other.
EDIT: Also, it seems like my phone has decided to spam my contact list with all of my Facebook "friends." That seems like it could cause some problems...
Also do you have any suggestions for a music player over the standard one? I have not really looked through the market yet personally(mostly due to the horrible service here), so any suggestions are welcome.

May 6, 2010My app creates and shows an AlertDialog which accepts input from the user (the user needs to type some text into an EditInput).
With the AlertDialog on screen, if the user opens up the keyboard on the device, then the app's OnCreate and OnResume methods are called and my AlertDialog promptly disappears from the screen ... not the effect I was hoping for!
I thought that perhaps I needed to override the Activity's onConfigurationChanged method, but despite having the following in my Manifest:

the cause is that my screen is broken on the lower right coin and it block the "Done" button. annoying...
The TWRP keyboard to decrypt the disk should be fine (its "done" button is larger enough)

In my oppinion, this chinese keyboard is not user friendly and hard to use. so I tried to change any settings that related to keyboard and language but still my Keyboard still in chinese. When I streamed at youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxAHM6epz8U) the Keyboard has an english version (but my keyboard is not the same as in the video above). I googled for a while and found no reference for this. Please can anyone help me or experience the same problem as me? For your Information, my Phone is made is China (wonder if this is the cause) and the version is 1.6
