I am bout to get the EVO 4G and I saw a video of a guy playing crash bandicoot racing with a bluetooth controller.I am wondering if this will be possable with 2 bluetooth controllers for 2 player?

I really want to use the Wii classic controller with my emulators but everyone says the app doesn't work with the Evo. I understand they are adding some Bluetooth functionality with the Froyo update. Does this mean there is a chance we will now be able to use Bluetooth controllers.I uderstand this is possible if I root my phone. Should I just wait for a fully functional rom after the update. Also how many of you have experience running the emulators on Froyo. Do the games seem to run any better. Any one actually got the Wii remote running on an Evo.

I can't move between tracks and if I hit the pause button it mutes the music but does not pause the playback. It does not appear to be a physical problem with the switch because the volume control still works.Anyone else have this problem and is there a fix?

I recently bought the SNES emulator for my HTC Desire. Works well but some action games are very hard to play using the onscreen gamepad.
Are these games easier to play on a bluetooth keyboard? I am guessing you can bind some keys on the keyboard to various buttons in the game.
I have seen some bluetooth game controllers like the Zeemote but it does not currently support android. Are there any other options?
Is there any way to set up a wii controller to the evo via bluetooth to play emulators with or even a 360 controller for that matter

I worked with both the BGP100 and Zeemote on other mobile platforms. They both work quit good with action games. The buttons/keys can be user programmable meaning with the proper driver you can configure the buttons for game specific actions. This worked well under other platforms.
Im considering investing some time in the development of a driver to work with these.
I'm a light internet user and have cancelled my home high speed internet. All I use it for is Ebay, news and the weather occasionally. Anyway, I just tether my phone to my desktop/laptop when I want to get on the net and it works awesome. My question - is there any way to tether my Droid to my PS3? I want to be able to go online with my PS3 for updates. If not, is there anyway I can basically "reverse" the effects of a wireless router and let my Droid give the net to my PC, and then maybe connect an ethernet cable from my PC to the "Internet" port on a wireless router and have WIFI??

What I'm most concerned about is playing online with my PS3...I currently have a 1.5 mb connection and I see what the EVO Hot Spot advertises but do you guys think I can do without my ATT Uverse wireless connection and let this phone do that job for me? Eliminating a monthly bill and adding these new fee's.

I know there are apps to turn it into a remote, but I think this requires an separate adapter or receiver. Anyways, if anyone knows if its even possible or not, please let me know. I notice that if I use bluetooth headphones, I can only use them with the default music player, which is a big drag since it kind of blows. If I delete the music player in the adb shell, will that fix the problem so I can use a different music app?

It only skips when it is connected via jack or Bluetooth to another player.
If i just listen to the Droid without connecting to anything else, it doesn't skip.

Even registering the broadcast receiver at the highest priority still fails to receive the Bluetooth media button events on the HTC Hero phone. The Bluetooth media button registration code works fine on the other Android phones that I have tested. Apparently this isn't the first time HTC has done something like this, as I also found a report of a similar problem on one of the HTC Microsoft Mobile Devices reported here
It seems extremely short sighted of HTC to code their media player so that it grabs the Bluetooth AVRCP media button events in such a way that other applications are unable to work with the Bluetooth head phone buttons and Bluetooth in car stereo systems.................
Everytime my phone connects with my car stereo (Clarion FB275btb) it starts to stream music. It even tries to stream if the music player is closed. After I stop the music and and put the stereo into another mode it works fine. If I later get a call it acts normally, but after I end the call it starts to stream music again! Any ideas on what the problem might be? My stereo worked fine with my behold I and nokia 5310.

I have a Sprint Galaxy S3 and I've been trying for weeks to connect it to a PS3 controller. I got a usb to mini usb converter, downloaded the Sixaxis Controller app and rooted my phone, but after connecting to the controller and turning it on it just flashes while the app says "listening for controllers..." so I assumed I must have got a faulty converter ordered a new one, same results. Then I ordered gameklip after reading that it could connect with your controller just by plugging in a mini to micro cable and after it arrived I'm getting the same problem. The phone just doesn't seem to recognize that there's anything plugged into it. I've tried two different PS3 controllers. I've tried resetting them using a paperclip and the button on the back. I've tried resetting the phone multiple times. I've honestly tried everything I can think of. It just doesn't seem to work.
Everybody I can find on the internet seems to have no problem with either a wired or wireless method, but I can't seem to figure it out. I don't know if there's just something simple I'm missing or if there's some compatibility problem I don't know about, but I've spent over $50 trying to get this thing to work so I'd like to see that pay off.
I have a SPH-L710 on 4.1.1.
